I 100% agree with u Paul. But try not to get to upset over the negative comments. I will agree it gets tedious hearing the same negative comments about the new director. This is the same thing that happened when they announced they were going bareback for some scenes. Paul, I have read and re-read this post several times before commenting. Firstly I have to say that you are one of the HOTTEST guys to come along on BSB2, along with Jimmy, Rocco, Bobby and Ayden. I've watched every scene you've been in, and all of your BTS as well. I posted and re-posted your singing back in your parent's home in your bedroom when you played the keyboard and sang Adele's song "Someone like You", dressed only in your shorts. I found you and your sexy voice a HUGE turn on. Don't sweat it Paul. As Mikey accurately indicates, we do love you in here. You are entitled to give an opinion or just a contribution on anything being discussed in here. We welcome the participation of any model who is willing to come in and chat with us. It's our pleasure when models agree to interact with the fans. As you see though, sometimes the waters in here can get a little choppy. So please don't lose heart and take it too personally.

You are saying many of the same things about giving Johnny a chance, that the scenes in the vault take a while to cycle through to where the latest improvements have been made, etc., that many of the rest of us are saying too. There are some who will take a wait and see attitude and there are some who will only believe it when they see it. Which is about normal, given the sheer number of people and personalities who contribute to the forum, episode profile pages, emails, etc.

Your opinions are valid in here too. Please don't get discouraged or personally hurt and upset if they are not taken as gospel. I believe your predictions for Johnny turning around the issues people are complaining about now. And if so, you'll still have the satisfaction later of being proven right when most people are happy with the new direction of the site.

Kyle, I would never "hate on you" for expressing your feelings and opinions. As I've said many times, what constitutes "hot" porn is totally subjective, and I loved David's style in BSB1. Yes there were times when he talked too much, but overall I thought his folksy ways were disarming and perfect to make the guys feel comfortable and non-threatened working for him. As far as his touching the dicks, I can only recall two or three times that he did it out of hundreds of episodes, and the two I remember with crystal clarity were two of the cutest, most believable straight boys in the history of the site, (obviously to my taste). They two were Alden of 'Alden and Robert' and Logan, and for me when I witnessed David reaching into their white briefs, I actually felt a jolt in my cock, as it was so out of character for David to do that and my feeling was "Oh yeah. Go David. I can't believe that you are doing exactly what I would want to do if I were in David's shoes". In mind, David was not doing it for himself necessarily, but for me, as I could not be there, and David was representing us sitting in front of our computers.

So I am very nostalgic for BSB1 and the progression of believably straight guys who begrudgingly began to get pleasure out of the sex, while holding their stances of doing it for the money. I loved the self rationalization phycology that was going on. I gave Clay a chance at the beginning, but his style of porn was not at all what turned me on, and I remained a member exclusively for this forum, as very little of what Clay produced, actually produced a hard on for me while watching.

I am not sold on Johnny yet, and I do cringe at some of his comments, but his style holds promise for me that 2014 might bring back some of my feelings for Broke Straight Boys that initially caused me to become a member and a huge fan of the site. Again neither you or I are necessarily right or wrong, and it is "only porn", so I am patiently waiting and watching to see just what this site becomes in the new year.

I wasn't even going to bother with this thread given it was started by kru; but then I saw it went to 3 pages and saw that mikey had posted, so I decided to read the thread.

I resent anyone, member or model, who tells me that I should get over anything. I am a member of this forum and will post anything at anytime. My opinions are no more nor no less valuable than anyone else's. And if you don't like something I post, you can surely disagree with it, but don't tell me to get over whatever it is I'm posting about.

So far, I don't like this Johnny, but I'm going to hang in there to see if any of the comments, which mgmt says they yearn to hear, make any impression. I joined the site just as it was going from David to Clay. I was not a big fan of David, due to his being a "Chatty Cathy"; although thanks to insights from mikey, I did come to understand and appreciate what he was trying to do with his style of directing. Clay has the personality of a rock. I am not sad to see him go. I have said more than once, what Broke Straight Boys needs is a director with the personality of David and the brevity of Clay. So far at least Johnny doesn't fit the bill for me. I think Johnny has to remember that Broke Straight Boys is a different animal from all the others in the gay for pay arena and that alot of what he brings from his Baitbus past just doesn't fit here. I do like his more conversational style with the models, but I still think it is too long, even if the scenes are longer and we lose no sex time. And I don't like his showing his hands and fingers in the scene. Nor do I care to know about his sexual exploits with cantaloups or any other thing or person. I want to know about the models' sexual exploits. But as chuck said on his thread change takes time and I'm willing to give some. But after a few months, if nothing has changed in Johnny's style, then I have to re-evaluate my situation here. But for now let's see where the ride takes us - hopefully to a better place. The one thing I will praise Johnny on is his camera work, his closeup shots of fucking and cumshots and his camera angles are much better than Clay's or David's and they lend to a heightened eroticism in the scenes. I thought his camera work especially in the Jason/Zander Floyd scene was outstanding.

And a word to Paul - you post here and your opinions are what they are. But you'll have to forgive me, I am a cynic - and as I wrote Ian on another thread in response to his post saying how wonderful Johnny is - I have a hard time believing that some one who wants to continue working here would say anything negative about a person, in this case the director, who has a say in how much work a model gets. Sorry, that's not you, it is me. I'm not saying your opinions are not truthful, only that I find them hard to accept.

I do not post very often and when I do mostly about or to the models. But, I am going to toss my two cents in on this subject. I neither love or hate Johnny in the directors chair. Sometimes I like to watch the models interact prior to sex. I can imagine that spending some time talking can help relax the models and maybe make the video go smoother. Plus it also lets us see a bit of their personalities, and I like to get to know them a bit better. That is why, sometimes, I watch the behind the scenes. Sometimes I just want to watch the guys get down and dirty, often when this is the case I fast forward to what I am most interested in watching at that time. And also I like when the models post on the message boards, any of the models, because they are interacting with us the members. I think that most of us on the boards like to hear from them. And it really is like jumping into a shark tank in a blood suit, some people just attack for the sake of attacking.
