I would tell you, as I'm sure you already know, if you want to travel to the "nearest star," you would have to find a faster way to get there first; right now, it would take more than one lifetime. Also, hitting the sun, our nearest star, would be a "one way trip," since, again with the technology of today, you would burn up. So, I'm assuming your into science, cool. Was that your favorite subject in school? How do you feel about the privatization of space travel? Since I grew up in the mid 60's, I think it is going to be very hard without the dominance of NASA. I was in Houston for the 100th launch of the space shuttle; it was awesome!

haha well this is a little awkward...i think you misunderstood me just a little haha...im actually not really into science at all and dont know much about space travel...i meant astral travel as in astral projection as in like an out of body experience? maybe i should have wrote that instead...anyway i believe anyone can do it and its basically learning to separate your "astral body" from your physical body but you can most definitely visit space, different plants, stars, universes, dimensions, etc. all depending on how good you are at it and how willing you are i guess....i cant speak much about it not only because its a very complicated topic but i still havent been able to do it yet...mostly because of fear which is the main reason most people cant do it...i've always been able to lucid dream since i was little though so astral projection would be the next step for me....

#4. You probably already have. Many of us have done this as children especially. Mainly because it happens most often when the physical body is asleep. But when we wake up we simply don't remember doing it. Children experience it more often because they haven't been conditioned yet to believe it's impossible. So they do it. lol

Usually what prevents it for those who are consciously trying to do it, is the fear that they won't be able to get back into their bodies if they leave. The fear does hold them back. I've heard that if you want to do this from a waking state that you should cross your body...as in crossing your arms or legs as a barrier to prevent any other entity from trying to get in. Of course to help overcome the fear it's always a good idea to say a prayer of protection first. My guess is that you're a Scorpio. Though I could be wrong.

As a child I could see astral bodies at times. I don't believe they were ghosts. I just believe that they were normal people whose bodies were asleep. And part of their spirits were just out travelling around while their bodies rested. If I was at an in between stage of sleep where I woke up at night in the dark with just my eyes open, I could scan the room, moving only my eyes and sometimes see strange people in my room or at other places where I was sleeping. Usually it was just someone sitting in an empty chair. But as soon as I moved my body or tried to speak to them and use my voice...they would disappear and dissipate like a fog before my eyes.

When it first started happening to me around 4 y/o it scared me. By 6, 7, 8 I was worried about what they were doing there but I didn't feel physically threatened by them. Again. I didn't feel like they were ghosts. Many times when I tried to speak to them it was only to let them know I could see them, and ask them why they were in my room. haha But of course once I got the first syllable out of my mouth their image just disintegrated into nothingness.

Well shit, sorry about that. When I looked up "astral," space travel was the first option. Anyway....astral body travel, hu, never really thought about it. Now I will have to go research that. Hi Brandon, I've never met another person who can genuinely lucid dream! After many years of self training I can lucid dream in about one dream in fifty...lol, so I'm not that good at it, but when I get it right, and I can control my dreaming self enough turn around and tell the big, dark, scary dudes to take a hike...and they actually slink away...it's buzz like no other.

Astral travel...as Tampa said, you probably already have, now all you need to do is train your mind to be recapture the innocence that allowed you to truly believe it could be done in the first place....far more difficult than lucid dreaming.
