True, another1. But I spent my entire professional business career in fields where words, written and/or spoken, and how those words are put together can mean a great deal of difference. I'm paranoid to a degree.
And in the clause I cited "it's been...", it's is a contraction of it has. Thus when I read "...it's been nice working with you..." I interpret that as a taking of leave of someone. I've heard people say things like "It's been nice working with you, good luck in the future", but never "It's been nice working with you, see you tomorrow or next week".
That's why I asked for a clarification - just wanted to alleviate my paranoia.
