Whats new in your town?

Thanks peter, I'll trade you places!
Hmmm, come to think of it. Seems like I go to Seattle at least once per decade, and while this decade is still new, i think it has been 10 years since my last visit to Seattle. Must be time to go again! I love that city! BUt then I love rain and gloomy days.
If your serious about visiting sometime soon let me know. Have a guest bedroom if that will help with expenses. Had family visiting all summer, so I got to do all the tourists attractions. It's been awhile since I'd seen the Pike place mkt, went up the space needle, took a ferry ride etc. I forget how fortunate I am to live here and all Seattle has to offer.

I love the whole Seattle area. I haven't been in about five years, but it is one of my favorite places.

Awwww, thanks. That is giving me an idea! I'll get back to you with it when it cements, lol.

Where and how you all live seems so different and far away from me, I fascinated by your comments and photographs. I'll have to scrounge up some photographs of my area...pity I'm such a clumsy photographer.

JLipps...I'm sorry you live in a 'hell hole'...but hey, remember what can happen on an innocent trip to the hairdressers with your Mother...and you don't have supermarkets run by crabby old maids who all share the same tube of lipstick - 80s Blinding Fuchsia!

Tassie truly is beautiful, especially if you like nature. That first picture is of Wineglass Bay on the east coast. The only way to get there is to walk up and over the saddle of the Freceynet Peaks, but wow it is so worth it, the sand is the whitest in the world and the only sounds you can hear is the gentle shush of the sea and the soft sigh of the breeze. The only problem is the only way back is the way you came...exhausting!

You know Grace, you are right. There maybe not be a lot of beautiful sights to see, or things to do, but life is not terribly boring. At least not for me! I live in an area with a big hispanic population and I have come to appreciate all the beautiful young men who live here, some, more than once, lol. But then, I work at a University, so I am surrounded by hundreds of beautiful young horny boys every single day! Gotta love it.

The tent things are the Denver airport. They were designed to mimic the snowy peaks.

The airport! Gosh, that was the last thing I expected you to say. Your airport has to be one of the most intriguingly designed ports in the world. How did they come up with the eventual design? Sometimes the most innovative and interesting designs orginate from regular people's input.

Talking about photographs on another thread prompted me to post the latest light display from Antarctica that occurred a few nights ago. I can't take credit for the photography, but living close to Antarctica and being insomniac means I see the Aurora Australis quite often.

I remember the first time I experienced the amazing way light reflected off the Antarctic ice was very early in the morning after a big night out...I though Tassie was being invaded by weird, color-loving aliens!

Great pics their Grace xx

Wow. That last one's incredible. Almost fake looking. These must have been taken in an area with very little light pollution.
