It is important to note that the sites that I first became a payng member to was College Boy Physicals and Broke Straight Boys It was the summer of 2008, the beginning of my Junior year in college. So, last mid week, after some back and forth here on the forum, a few messages with Mikeyank and Bartirah, I decided to start at the very beginning. I had a hugh vault to explore, a lot of curiousity and interest, (which for a person with adult ADHD is a must) my 4 week old Galaxy notepad (a recent birthday present), and my trusty laptop for any necessary downloading or quick cross tab referencing. Armed with plenty of techical and moral support, I can report that I am on page 5. I won't feel comfortable until I get to page 44 with the introduction of Kodi.



Personally, the models that had recurring scenes in which the action picked up with each meeting, are my favorites. We discovered this couple on page 5, "Eric and Ross" from May 2, 2007. We recently heard from another member who also told us that he is exploring all of the scenes on Broke Straight Boys going back to the beginning. He has checked in a few times to alert us to his progress on his journey. To me the site has evolved into something radically different from the site I also first joined in 2008, however I have never left, although I have stayed primarily for this forum, rather than for my total love and devotion to all of the content. But the point is I have been here through all of the changes from 2008 right up until present.

I would be curious to read your assessment of the differences from then to now and all in between as you continue your journey Tyler. Obviously, technology has improved the quality of the presentation tenfold in my estimation. I can recall when original director and producer David told us that he had acquired all new equipment as Broke Straight Boys moved into high definition, and for a period you will notice on the opening of scenes the words Broke Straight Boys-HD! And comparing the quality today to the early days of HD here, there is more and more marked improvement keeping up with the times.

But I am more interested in your assessment of the entire premise and presentation of scenes from then to now. We've been through several sets of directors and styles of shooting over the years. In many ways it is only the name "Broke Straight Boys" that is the same today, as one can see from watching the three scenes you posted above. Many years ago, we had a member of the forum who called himself Slimvintage. He made me familiar with the word "paradigm" when he said that I was the paradigm of a Broke Straight Boys consumer for those days, in that I was consumed with the three qualities in the name of the site, wanting to see mostly broke, but always straight and always boys.

I really appreciate the feedback, along with your own rationale of Broke Straight Boys I have read it in your other posts and comments before, but being a month to month, year to year member continuoisly since 2008 says a lot, regardless of what group or site you are talking about. Yes, you outlined your reasons clearly, but still. That is commitment. I have kept a brief outline of the points you made regarding the progression of Broke Straight Boys As I said prior, when I review a large scope and sequence, I need specific points for guidance. As for the changes along with the commonalities, those will be pretty obvious as I trek along. This Broke Straight Boys acquired a new cheerleader today, being me. I think he would probably fit into the "paradigm", too. I bring him back front and center two days shy of his 10th year anniversary. Mike and Bartirah.....here is some evidence of 10 year old technology vs. today. However, the underlying premise that the Director used for the "trilogy" formats that I enjoy pretty much stayed the same; as with those sometime humerous pre-show stories. When I joined back in 2011, Tyler, I did the same thing, e.g. started with the very first scene and worked my way forward. Having that vast library is a big plus of Broke Straight Boys Enjoy your journey.

As you allude to with a certain degree of boredom (shall we say) for the ubiquitous typical gay porn done by exclusively gay models out there, I found myself at similar place before Broke Straight Boys I enjoyed/enjoy well produced very polished gay porn occasionally as much as the next guy. But looking at models of near physical perfection on some of the better sites out there can create a certain restlessness of its own after a while. As a reality site versus a more commercialized mass-producing porn site, Broke Straight Boys gave me that extra hook of the unknown. Mainly so because one of the three guys is very homophobic and singles out the gay identifying model named Aiden (who may be one of the sweetest, nicest, most endearing fem twinks ever to walk the face of the earth, lol) with mean, disparaging and homophobic remarks. Ahem! Keeping in mind that the self-identifying supposedly totally straight guy dishes out these disparaging homophobic remarks while maintaining a rock-hard boner most of the time. Me thinks he doth protest too much maybe??? lol

By the end of the trilogy, surprisingly I had a genuine respect and admiration of this seemingly homophobic guy [named Torin] for the character he showed by his extreme generosity and all the kindness extended to his straight friend Steve. While others may Talk about the nobility of helping out others in a time of need...this guy actually walked the walk instead of just talking the talk. It's hard to explain without knowing or detailing the whole backstory first to all of you. Suffice to say that it is very good porn my mind, in keeping with the Broke Straight Boys paradigm of the site. But it will also challenge and provoke you both mentally and emotionally at the same time.

But Tyler, these scenes fit your specifications of being a very good and very memorable trilogy which was shown consecutively without distractions of other scenes placed in between. lol

As an aside... I have made my strong dislike of having fem gay models on the site well known over the years. lol I've always felt that on a site called Broke Straight Boys that even a gay or bi model who is hired should at least be reasonably butch and passable for straight. Dear sweet little Aiden is one who stole my heart and broke all those rules. haha I wish I could just sweep him up in my arms, plant kisses all over him, put him in my pocket and take him home with me forever. Where I would cuddle with him every night, protect him from any negativity in the world, and exchange sweet nothings with him until we fell asleep. LOL

Tampa, as you and I are the resident "historians" of the forum, I wholeheartedly concur that these three scenes were among the most controversial in the long and storied history of the forum. As an aside to Tyler whose thread this is and to Bartirah, who are both the newbies here who are "learning" about the past, while enjoying the present, that for me personally the forum is more my field of expertise rather than the actual models and scenes. We have other members including Peter who have watched every scene and have a clear memory of all performers on the site.

Therefore when you mention the Torin, Stephen and Aiden trilogy, my memory is jogged and a smile comes on my face, as I recall those "battles royale" on the forum. What's interesting to me is that in addition to all the archives of the scenes are intact here on the site, the forum posts are all still here too. I wish someone would provide links to forum posts to serve as "cliff notes" for one to read as a guide to following the history. If I ever teach a course on the history of Broke Straight Boys, the forum notes will be required reading to pass my exams. LOL

Yes my dear friend Mikey. These scenes created a firestorm of protest. It got hot in here, and not in just a sexual way. lol Plenty of people would have loved to see Torin's a** kicked for some of the homophobic things he said and did to dear, sweet little Aiden. Myself included. Not only did I fall in internet love with Aiden (LOL) but to the shock of some, I also eventually came to the defense of Torin. It was complicated. haha

I'm rather busy right now. But when I get online later I will try to track down some of those older threads and repost them...if you think there would be interest. Or if you think newbies might want another trip to the well to comment on their own...that's fine too. It would take me some time to find three 8 year old threads. I know that. haha
