What is the standard for a senior member?

In the recent past, I was classified as a Senior Member having held this status for approximately two or more months. I have checked other members having a similar number of posts and they are still counted as a Senior Member.

Why, then, have I been mysteriously downgraded to "Member" only while they have retained their Senior Membership status? Am I being punished or somesuch for God knows what reason?

Is my money not as good as theirs?

I've wondered myself what a senior member is compared to a member. Do you pay more to be a senior member? Is there any advantage to being a senior member?

no advantages to being a senior member as far as i know, but it used to be that you were a junior member until 50 posts, then you became a member until 100 and after that you were a senior member....but it seems to me you have far more than 100 posts....maybe they changed the number?

I hate to appear so fragile but that is just the way I am feeling now and for some unexplained reason. Perhaps I have ruffled a few too many feathers in my forum postings? Probably this is yet another unwarranted overreaction on my part.

its all good! i remember when i was new to the forum, i got so excited when i became a senior member! so i understand you frustrations, the title brings with it bragging rights...."i'm a senior member, so i know what im talking about, read through billions of threads and chatted it up with some porn stars!" it seems like a silly thing to most people, however it is the small things (puzzzle pieces fitting together) in life that make up the big picture (perfectly completed jigsaw puzzle)

JAYMAN IS QUITE CORRECT IN HOW YOU MOVE UP IN RANKS. HE IS ALSO THE FIRST ONE TO CRACK THE 1000 POST MARK, AND EVENT THAT WAS A MAJOR CELEBRATION.

okay, since this question has arisen, how 'DOES' one 'become' a "Senior" member? as I have been a member for YEARS...when Taz wasnt in jail, and Jarrett was a NEW update, screwing/blowing his bandmates!?!


As well...what specifically ARE the advantages/perks of being a 'senior' member, I already went through midlife crisis once!
