I am pleased too Enzo, but I'm glad they did not edit out Tyler's yawning, as this is supposed to be a "reality type" studio and it's interesting to see what really goes down in a scene. It's also interesting that I believe that Tyler is often the one who edits the videos, but I think I read where he does not edit the one's that he models in.

I also noticed that you like both Tyler and Jake, but you did not comment on Nu. Is it like the old saying, that if you don't have anything nice to say about someone, you shouldn't say anything at all?

Here's what I think: Broke Straight Boys isn't a reality show. But it would be a huge mistake to dismiss it as a hoax since it's actually a very canny mixture of the two. And while there is a heap of cynicism behind some of the fantasy, there's a genuine desire to make a great product as well. When I first came onboard I started on the last page of the episodes and made myself work towards the first. I did this for several reasons. 1.) I wanted to get a feel for what I had subscribed to. 2.) I was interested in how straight boys were going to react to the “gay thing.” 3.) But when push comes to shove, he is quite happy with the wife and kids. He is doing this to make some money and try to make a better life for his family. A true Broke Str8 Boy. What D&E pays is D&E's business but the money banter IS part of the fantasy. The models are well taken care of and can earn a substantial amount of money for the week. More than quite a few people make in a month. If they are flown in, they stay with David and Eddie, are fed (home cooking or ordering in), have access to a computer and a big screen TV, two terraces and I believe a pool all at D&E's expense. They can even take an advance on their pay if they need some cash.

So some of it is fantasy and some of it is reality. The banter tends to ring true. Which is which only David and the models know. What we see is real. Yes there is editing done, but for the most part I've been told it is minimal.

I take it on face value and take the banter, sex and scenarios for what they are. Hey, if it gets me off, then its a good scene.

I hope that answers some of your questions, and I hope it doesn't rain on anyone's parade. There is a big difference between the "mystique" of Broke Straight Boys and the realities of how what we see comes to fruition. David and Eddie are great guys and are good businessmen as well. One of the premier producers (major studio) came up to David recently, shook his hand and told David how much he admired him. Not bad for a couple of guys who sort of fell into the business. Yes they had working stiff lives before porn!
