Stephen could care less about the neg posts. He is and always has been a great straight ally. To say nothing of being so many gay men's heartthrob.

I just heard that Stormy Daniels is divorcing her husband Glendon Crain.

I also found out that he has done (straight) porn himself under the stage name of Brendon Miller.

Here's one clip if anyone's interested. Just be warned that it's straight porn with vag in it. haha If he's ever done any gay porn, I'd love to see if any of our sleuths in here could find it. :)

Several months ago I joined up for Moviepass. For $9.95 per month it sounded too good to be true. It probably was. For the first few months it was great. One free movie per day at just about any location you wanted to go to. Then, you couldn't see the same free movie twice. Then, you had to take a picture of your ticket stub right after purchase and text it back to them. Then, you had to pay an additional "surcharge" of sorts for seeing a movie during what they called "peak times." Now... It seems that Moviepass is on life support, if not already dead. No movie theaters in my area are listed on their app as having service.

I never did think that business model could hold out for long. Certainly not at that ridiculously low price. If you saw 3 movies per month, you more than made up for the cost of the subscription. I'm sure many people watched movies more often than that. Maybe if Moviepass or another company raised the monthly rate to $25 or more, they could make it work to a point of profitability. Of course unless I was wealthy I would never pay $40 a month or something like that, just to occasionally see movies. I do think the business model makes sense if the rate is both high enough to make a profit, and low enough to attract many lower to middle income customers. But can any company find that happy medium?

Does anyone know if they have pulled the plug on Moviepass? Or if they're about to?

Honestly I can't remember the last time I went to a theatre! With all the options like Netflix etc I don't think people really go out much do they??

That is really true. I would love black Jesus to make an appearance in one of these right wing Trump loving churches. Of course I’ve always said it’s very difficult to find a true Christian in one of those places.

I know what you're saying Rep. haha

I used MoviePass heavily for 6 months or so and saw 30+ movies. I switched to AMC A-List 2 or so months ago and have enjoyed it more than MoviePass even though it is double the price. I don't want to see more than 3 movies per week, and being able to watch in the IMAX theaters without extra charge has spoiled me. The only downsides are there isn't an AMC in the town I usually take my nieces/nephews, and AMC's concessions are much higher than the competing theaters in my area. I have adapted by eating before I go to the movies which saves me money and calories - so it turned out being a win. All-in-all, was happy with MoviePass, glad it prompted AMC to develop a better and more sustainable model, and have enjoyed the past year of movie bliss!

I have friends who have done the same thing. Switched from MP to AMC. So I'll probably do the same thing soon. The downside is that the only AMC theater near me has bad parking options. Parking garages or metered street parking. But I can adjust.
