Well Guys (and Gals) lol,
I did make to the club last night and one of my more recent bucket list dreams came true. I got to meet two models I could have only hoped to meet up to this point. I've been a big fan of
Gage Owens for a long time. I had not been to this particular club before so I had little idea of what to expect about the club itself. (Let alone my giddy nervous anticipation about the possibility of meeting
Gage Owens in person.
)
I always seem to get that way as a longtime member of the site and a fan of many models here. I go in with a nervous excitement, sometimes even a little tongue-tied and with hopes of a very positive interaction with the models. Usually when meeting
Broke Straight Boys models in the past, I have been at official
Broke Straight Boys pride events with Sha there to introduce me and help break the ice, so to speak. Sha knows I'm quite harmless and very respectful of any models I do get to meet. This time I was on my own. lol
From my perspective I'll share a few insights about
Gage Owens from last night. When he is in his Clark Kent persona he can appear so mild-mannered and nondescript, that no matter how much of a fan of
Gage Owens and his work you are, you could walk right past him in a crowd, not recognize him, and be none the wiser that you were standing next to such an attractive and sexy man. It's when he takes off the baseball cap and the clothes, and becomes
Gage Owens the porn star, that you really see just how handsome and stunning he is. He was wearing a baseball cap turned backwards and he (currently with a hat on at least) shows no hair on the forehead, sides or back. The only thing I had to go on when trying to find him in a very large crowd was trying to recognize his face from the lower forehead down and a nearly perfect complexion. There were actually about 3 guys there last night dressed the same way with the baseball caps, who could have passed for him. haha I was a little confused! lol
Fortunately I met someone else there who could verify for me if I had indeed spotted
Gage Owens.
I hoped that he (this other model) might be there, based on some of his past Twitter posts. Many of you know that I like this model a lot, praise him for his work onscreen, and have even come to his defense here in the forum at times if I felt reviews of some of his scenes were too rough. Physically and sexually, I love the fact that he has some fur on him and looks so manly without clothes on compared to many of the other
Broke Straight Boys models. Personally as a fellow human being, I've always had a soft spot for him from the personality he's shown us onscreen (pre-scene interviews, BTS vids, etc) as well as how he likes to cook and bake for other people in the
Broke Straight Boys house.
So I spot this very handsome guy with a neatly trimmed beard and I go up to him.
Gage Owens knows I'm coming that night. But not this guy. I was SO happy to see him there as an added bonus to the evening, that it took me great self-control not run over to him like a lovesick little schoolgirl, gush about what a big fan I was of his work, maybe try to hug him...and risk scaring him into calling security. LOL So I took it slow. haha I went over to him and introduced myself by name. He politely did the same. I'm sure he probably wondered (and was wary about) why this older stranger had approached him at all.
The demographics of that particular club skews much younger. A fact I was not fully aware of until I actually got there. It ranges from about 18-30. Maybe 40. Yes. You read that right that they allow 18 y/o's in there. lol With no alcoholic drinking by them of course. So suffice to say that any guys like myself over 50 are very few and far between in there. So in the eyes of many I probably looked out of place.
So I'm sure this poor guy is puzzled and a not just a little suspicious of why I'm making a point of trying to introduce myself and talk to him at all. I wasn't sure how to let him know I was a fan. Or that I even knew he was a porn star. So I broke the ice by asking him if he knew anyone by the name of Chandler. That did take him by surprise! LOL I then quickly told him that I was Tampa from the forum. But I still don't think he knew who I was or that it really registered. It's not like any of us here in the forum are so important that all the models know us and our individual screen names. Yes. The man standing in front of me was indeed Chandler. haha Woohoo!
I asked him if the guy I thought was
Gage Owens really was
Gage Owens. And he confirmed it. He went up to
Gage Owens and brought him over to me. At least
Gage Owens kinda knew who I was and had been expecting me to show up that night. It was quite a thrill to see him standing in front of me. It was so good to finally see him! At the time and even in hindsight I still wish that I had had Sha there to put both of them at ease about me. That being that of course I would be very respectful of them as I have all of the models I've met...and that it would be safe for them to lower their guard a little bit. I totally understand though that just because they're approached by well-intentioned fans of the site, doesn't mean that some of those "other" fans aren't creepers who need to be kept at arm's length. And of course they have no idea who they can trust and who they can't.
But anyway...
Gage Owens's eyes are really amazing in person. Even in a dimly lit room they are so beautiful. I've always heard that the camera adds about 10 lbs of weight to actors.
Gage Owens has a thinner build in person than I expected. That's not a criticism of course. Just an observation. I think he looks great!
Gage Owens graciously agreed to let me get a picture with him. For which I'm very grateful.
Chandler was also very gracious in letting me get a picture with him. He even went out of his way to patiently help me through some issues with my phone camera. Both
Gage Owens and Chandler treated me quite well and it was a real pleasure to meet them.
