SURVEY - How many of you are smokers?

Smokin!

I am a smoker. Just curious how many more there are.

Speaking of smoking....I was sitting in this bar and overheard two buzzsaws (women) talking and one says to the other: "Hey hon, do you ever smoke after sex?" The other answered, "I don't know, I've never noticed" bada boom!!

I was sitting in the same bar when a cute gay guy approached me. I asked him if he smoked, he replied: "only if I walk fast" bada boom boom!! :001_rolleyes:

I know they're groaners, but I thought I would take the opportunity to "light up" the Forum for a moment....you know, something on the "lighter" side. Ok, maybe the smokers are the ones who would get my "drift" or perhaps I'm only "clouding" the issue with a "smoke screen".

Enough Richard....you're making me laugh on an inhale. :001_tongue:

I'm next, I quit when I was 16 after conquering the cool gestures: the one handed striking of the paper match in it's little book, the cupped hand around the match, the squint in the left eye while lighting up, the exhale half through the nose and half through the mouth, the whole ballet with the actual cigarette while puffing on the fucking thing. It took me 4 days to get it all right and then I quit. I had a mega-asthma attack that night, but it was worth it, man I felt cool.

actually the ohio citizens voted this law into effect by 3 to 1 margin, so it wasnt the government that enabled this, but the people. We actually had two different options regarding smoking. The other one enabled certain business' to choose to allow smoking, but if they chose they were required to have adequate non smoking areas, while still proibiting smoking near public entrances. Needless to say the public voted for an all out ban

I've never been a smoker; however, I believe those that are smokers retain the right to smoke at will. Further, I also believe those individuals that aren't smokers, equally retain the right not to ingest second hand smoke. :)

I think it should be left to the business owner, it is his property. Even if there were no smoking laws, a majority of restaurant owners would choose to be non-smoking anyway. That way, at least smokers would have a few places to go. There are still some cigar bars in NYC that were grandfathered in and exempted from the smoking ban, thank God. I found my way into one when I was in Manhattan last Spring, down in Chelsea I think it was. Michael Bloomberg is a bad man. I miss Rudy.

I'm a smoker, and in a way that is what brought me to Broke Straight Boys, let me explain.
Here in the U K they have a total ban on smking in public places, pubs, clubs. Now i love to dance and will happily do some weed at home and then go to a club and dance on my own all night, but need the cigarette to keep the high, when it goes i go home. But i find it way too dangerous to stand on the street late at night to have a cigarette, so dont go anymore.
Its a shame as i used to dance about once a month at a club run by friends of mine.
Now i just chat in here with you guys smoke and drink tea.

I am a smoker. I do respect those that do not smoke. I don't have a problem, Use to, with not being able to smoke in a restaurant. As RichardNoggin stated, Washington State has banned smoking in all public buildings. The exception of Indian run casinos, since they are on tribal property and land.
Oh, by the way, Happy Valentine's Day to everyone. I Love each and every one on the forum and the websites.

I am a non-smoker...i think smoking is very unattractive. No offense to anyone that does smoke, its just my personal opinion
