This summer I watch Under The Dome which is very good, and still True Blood. There is not much on TV right now so can't wait for next month.

Don't you find Barbie from Under the Dome so damn hot?

Hehe thanks :)
I do have a new job but I like to get my Broke Straight Boys fix once in a while ;)

I forgot, another good show is F/X's "the Bridge." It is about a serial killer who goes back and forth between Texas and Mexico.

This post is particularly for Tampa. Over the last 10 weeks BBC1 has been giving us a history lesson of what happened in the late 15th century, just before and during the battle of Bosworth. The series is called The White Queen and I hope America shows it for those who like English history.

I didn't do too well at history when at school, but that was for reason beyond my control: The history teacher died and they didn't send a replacement. However, having watched this series I googled Henry Tudor and noticed that the series closely followed what the google article stated. Now I cannot get enough and have started reading history books about our kings and queens.

I'll keep an eye out for the show if it comes to the BBC America channel. They say truth is stranger than fiction. :) British history had some very colorful personalities. Especially in its monarchs. lol

Elton John is my favorite British Queen. Like Tampa, I am a history person. So read on and we will comment.

It has already started; two episodes thus far. You can find it on the Starz cable channel. It is very well made and seems to be pretty authentic to the period.

Well. That's a premium channel. I don't bother with those. Advanced cable, yes. DVR, yes. Paying extra for one channel...? No. LOL

One show that is really looking good is Broadchurch.

It has only aired 2 episodes out of 8. It's shaping up to be a very good drama. It also has Matt Smith of Doctor Who fame as well as another co-star of his from Doctor Who. The actor who played the cute lovable Rory is now playing a priest in a dramatic role on Broadchurch. If you haven't seen any episodes yet you can catch up quickly if you have a DVR. I forget what they call that feature. It's not the On Demand where you pay for it. It's the feature that allows you to go back at any time and watch previously aired shows on select channels for free. It even allows you to rewind and fast forward through the commercials. :)

Anybody else caught Broadchurch on BBC America?
