Thongs are only good on a VERY SELECT few! Once, many pounds ago, in SF while working, . Maybe at age 17 to start, unless you are that 13 yo body builder in the news recently, . Quit before you lose the shape.

If my husband was parading around our bedroom in a thong, g-string or a jock, I'd be trying so hard not to laugh out loud that I'd probably hurt myself. Some things were just not meant to be. However, in theory and as demonstrated by some of the above pics, #s 1, 7 and 8 specifically, a thong can certainly be drool producing!

So should guys wear thongs (g-strings)?
Thongs are a matter of “taste” and “good judgment” requiring an athletic build of the person in question. I would reference the first model in your pictures in the black thong and say “but of course”. He is perfection personified and he would look wonderful in anything he might put on. In fact this very sleek thong probably enhances his overall look over being totally nude. Anyone less perfect bodywise would be well advised to wear something that draws less attention to their physical imperfections.

I wouldn’t wear a thong to a State Dinner at the Whitehouse. I wouldn’t wear a thong if, due to excessive body hair, if I was frequently misidentified as a wolfhound or a werewoolf. I wouldn’t wear a thong if I had drooping man boobs, a hairy back, or a beer gut of any size. I would think the most abbreviated speedo demands a proportionally more perfect body anyway. The same is true for a thong.

I realize that going to a nude beach is not usually filled with only the most anatomically perfect and pristine people. Therefore, guys regardless of age with the appropriate body should be free to wear anything they want at the pool or beach. Nudist, however, are not fashion conscious and their statement of being nude takes precedence over any clothing item.

That depends entirely on the wearers’ physical condition. To avoid needless taunting in high school, I think guys would be well advised to wait until they have graduated from high school and the rest is strictly determined on how well they have held up physically to determine when to stop. Also, the older guys get, many get hairier and usually in all the wrong places. For instance, having a “hairy butt crack” is not conducive to wearing a thong with any sense of style.

Thongs can be sexy if they don’t over accentuate your package to make it disproportionately bulky or pronounced like some “pushup bra”. According to my taste, bulky is the last effect you would desire to create with the contours of the thong. The last guy pictured with the white thong seems too bulky to me in that profile shot or should try black instead or maybe a speedo.

I think thongs are sexy if you have the right body to go with it. Just as I hate seeing plumbers butt when guys bend over and this emerges from their jeans, I equally dislike seeing thongs on women peeking out of their jeans too. I do not find this the least bit sexy. The words “trailer trash” immediately comes to mind. I find these unfortunate and unintended glimpses of their butt to be most embarrassing to observe. If they wore normal underwear or panties, I would probably disregard it all together. I don’t particularly like the idea of flossing your butt crack with center strap of a thong. Curiously, the absence of that extra strip of cloth on an athletic supporter makes it so much less offensive to the eye. Guys in general look good in an jock with the fully exposed butt.

Obviously, this older guy has never worn a thong(g-string) so I cannot attest to how comfortable or fun it is or isn’t. I really hate for attractive guys to feel they must totally hide their goods with knee length swimming shorts. What a waste of something they might not have the good fortune to possess later on.

I think they are great. I have worn them and find them to be comfortable. I find this paranoia on the American males part about not wanting to display their package to be ridiculous. Baggy board shorts are yuck, as are baggy boxer underwear. Feeling sun on a naked bottom is oh so nice. Sure I should be a lot of pounds lighter but I'm not going to lock myself in a basement because others have a problem.

It's like lycra. You have to be slim, have a fat % of no greater that 6%, be at least very toned to built, have a great ass and a decent package, and be under 25.
Speedo's are sexier and most guys look better in them, even with a few extra pounds.

Thongs, like jockstraps should only be worn by athletic men with muscley booties. If your ass is flat, flabby, or saggy, they should be avoided at all costs. A bubble butt does nicely in a thong, for example.

I feel if you got it "body wise", by all means flaunt it! However, beware of those who don't and flaunt it anyway. They collectively give "Speedo" a bad name along with much unwanted negative attention for the "flaunt-or". The thing I hate most about baggy clothing is missing out on all those wonderful contours and wicked bulges nature has bestowed us guys with in all the best places and replaces them with an equivalent of a male burka. What a bad deal?

I say to you that if you have a picture you are proud of taken while in Jamaica in an "electric lime green speedo", by all means possible, please share this wonderful moment of male glory for all on the forum to enjoy. Even if your time has passed, you cannot deny the fact that for one shining moment you radiated your masculinity at the highest pinnacle as a badge of honor. This is much more than most guys ever dare to experience or have the balls to display them self at their prime in all their glory nature intended.

Youth is fleeting and "time's a wastin". I believe to this day males have a "window of opportunity" when they exhume great beauty and sexuality just like most species in nature, but our societal "mores" convinces them to hide under a sense of "imposed modesty". The beauty of youth should not be wasted on being made to feel self-conscious about one of natures finest gifts. Rather, it should be rightfully celebrated! People often decry that we live in a "youth-oriented culture". I ask you isn't this a justified response to nature's gifts of youth?
