Second Lucas Behind The Scenes

Hey guys. Our editor is a bit under the weather but he is trying to get caught up as quickly as he can. This flu that goes around keeps getting the best of some of us. They better not pass it on to me. LOL

I guess it took awhile to get here. That's just what I heard on the news and they currant vaccine doesn't cover this new strain. It sets in quite fast in a matter of 4 house and you're exploding from both ends.

Tampa I never wanted food when I had the flu but some Barq's Ginger Ale really hit the spot.

I look at this situation in the context of the subject matter. Lucas, in his first scene, was presented as someone who thought having sex with a "dude" was disgusting and nasty. Then he started posting on the forum and then contacting individual forumites through skype and other means. The picture of him which came out of all that was markedly different from the "image" he tried to create with his first video scene. Then comes the first BTS video introducing him; and, again, a different view of him than the original. Then a second Lucas-centric BTS video is posted which apparently only Ms. K saw, or at least she is the only one to have written that she had seen it and then it disappears. And on this thread she posts about finding Lucas' philosophy of life interesting and his views on monogamy and cheating making her stop and think.

Now the video is gone and differring reasons given. Given the whole whirlwind of contradiction surrounding Lucas and his becoming a Broke Straight Boys model, the cynic in me can't help but wonder if anything was said in the now-gone video which management doesn't want us to hear. And that is why I asked Ms. K that when (or if) the video is ever put back up, she watch it again so she can assure us that it is the same as she saw; and if not, what was changed. I would believe Ms.K's verification unequivocally.

But, you are an amazingly handsome, nice, polite and kind person. No wonder you've attracted so many fans here so quickly. Hope your mom does not ask to see your 'underwear modeling' pictures..LOL. Stowi I give you my word I have talked extensively with Management about whats going on with this video. Nothing Is being taken out interview wise. Certain things just can not be show due to copyright infringement and Intellectual property rights. I can say in full confidence after working with Broke Straight Boys that their main goal is to please you the customer. So please let me put your worries to rest, the video will be back out soon

Lucas, I am fairly famous for using a bit of sarcastic humor, so that may or may not be a serious comment. People that know me well will figure it out as soon as they watch the interview.

Knowing Ms.K as I do, I suspect that any reservations she might have about watching the scene again stem from a disagreement with Lucas in how she feels about issues of monogyny and fidelity in relationships. Plus, one must not overlook her penchant for sarcasm when going for humor.

Ah ha. I believe that "Detective Tampa24" may have hit on the root of Ms. K's dissatisfaction with Lucas's comments, but as our former leader David would have said, we must show "patients" and we shall find out, if indeed the interview we see is identical to the one that Ms. K watched a few nights ago!

I wanted to let you know we have this Lucas' behind the scenes back up. We sincerely apologize for the delay in getting this video back up. I promise you, nothing was edited out, we did however have to blur the cup, since the use of real names was used and we take our models privacy seriously. We also had to add the watermark (Broke Straight Boys.com) in the bottom right corner.

The delay was just our editor becoming very ill and we don't crack the whip when someone is sick.

Okay. We get to see it at last. I enjoyed it! Lucas does very well talking freely on camera without any nervousness. I definitely get the sense that he is wise beyond his years. He's been forced to become worldly whether he wanted to or not. I can only imagine the harsh things he's been through he needed N.A. at some point in his young life.

I wish that so many of the models were not smokers. Not that I think less of them for doing it. Just that I dislike the habit so much. I also lost a friend, who was a smoker, to lung cancer 2 weeks ago. Just as we say that we should love the sinner and hate the sin...I love the smokers and hate the habit.

Lucas you could be a real powerhouse with a good education. You are already so well spoken. Especially for your age. I assume from what you said that you lost a lot of time in high school. If you could complete high school and get some college in...you could do very well for yourself in later adulthood. It's a pleasure to see where you are at now in your development and self actualization. How I would love to see how far you will go in another 10-20 years.

Lucas does seem very level headed and I always like the fact that he, like ofthers his age, believe in understanding and respect for others. I would love to meet him on tour; I think he is a natural.

I found what Lucas had to say quite interesting he's obviously a thinker and with a few years experience under his belt I have no doubt he'll do good things with his life.

This video was certainly worth waiting for albeit had they used glass tumblers instead of a trademarked paper mug then all this waiting hassle would have been avoided lol.

Lucas, as I've always said, is a great find and just a great person. He fooled a lot of members in his first video, as did Spencer, but I guess that was all staged to get the reaction that happened. I picked up on a few things that have been mentioned on various threads in the past few days, moreover the attitude in America towards gay and lesbian people. Lucas hit the nail on the head and, as Sha stated, he is way beyond his years - but this is to be expected considering his younger life experiences.

I also like the teasing bit when Lucas said Sha looked a lot younger than 40 (which incidentally he does) but I also noted a hint of attraction in Lucas' eyes towards Sha too.

For the experts - who you think was behind the camera ?

I don't want to stir some s*#@ up but the video was abridged. I understand why as it left me pretty rattled at the end of it and I think that Lucas said some pretty libelous things. You clearly understood that Lucas was rebelling against his upbringing by becoming a sex worker.

TPTB should have come clean and said the video should not have published as it was and it was a libel suit in the making. Lucas was very courageous in putting such personal information out there but management in this case was not "wise beyond their years" in thinking it was all right to publish.

I get confused very easily so you'll have to be a bit clearer for me to understand what you mean, Julesmangrove. The video is outtakes of a more in depth Q&A, so in that respect yes is is abridged, but what part of the video do you feel is 'a libel suit in the making'?
