Second Lucas Behind The Scenes

Thank you Lucas, for taking the time to reassure us nothing weird is going on. Chuck's poor choice of words (naughty boy ) did make it sound like something was being changed, which just makes us want to know what it was. Lol

It's been a long time since a model (apart from Blake) has bothered with Forumite's concerns...

i believe the watermark is the 'Broke Straight Boys' that appears in the corner of everything blu!

I don't think some of you realize what editing the behind the scene entails. We can't show any labels like Gatorade, Coke, peoples faces close up so it take a lot of time going through the footage and we do miss some things and have to reedit etc. Thanks for your understanding.

I don't think some of you realize what editing the behind the scene entails. We can't show any labels like Gatorade, Coke, peoples faces close up so it take a lot of time going through the footage and we do miss some things and have to reedit etc. Thanks for your understanding.

All the conspiracy theories can be put to rest. I guess the only thing surprising in this instance is that more BTS scenes haven't had to be re-edited before. When you have to blur out faces of people in public...try to blur out geographic locations in some cases...try to blur out any name-brand household product...try to account for every reflection in a window or mirror that might give up something you don't want the general membership to see...I'm sure some things get missed. It does sound like a tough job being the editor for BTS. The porn set is a much more controlled environment by comparison.

While I am familiar with editing audio and video, it was tape and back in the 70's. I presume the editing process is similar, but the mechanics are different, e.g. digital or better. But the problem here is that conflicting statements were given, to wit:

First, some changes to the scene.
Then the watermark was left off, necessitating the video to be "re-rendered".
Then it's editing.
Then it's "all the bugs".

It seems to me that these are not all one and the same. Perhaps, you should figure out what the problem or problems are and then make one comprehensive statement explaining the problem. Yes, I was a college student in the 60's. So, I am to some extent a cynic and one who likes to hold "the man's" feet to the fire if I feel something is amiss or there is an appearance of such. Sue me. If you don't like my questioning such things, then don't read my posts. Believe me, my feelings won't be hurt in the least!!!

in the first staff comment on the here last night, gone today bts video chuck said making changes.
the owner commented that it could not be aired to way it was. no watermark for one reason.
another member of the staff commented on the bugs in the delivery of bts material. some being unable to watch the videos and need to post and unpost.
for my part, cynic to the core, conclude that the video will appear when mark thinks it is ready. adding the watermark is re-editing and then redoing conversion to flash video and then being sure it uploaded correctly, following all the steps things get missed!
that's how i see it or didn't.
or is there a cabal of forumites who share a secret of what could never be shown?

Lucas, a big warm welcome to Broke Straight Boys and BTS. Loved your first scene. Seeing you standing there in your briefs was so HOT. Wish you had worn briefs again in scene two. But, you are an amazingly handsome, nice, polite and kind person. No wonder you've attracted so many fans here so quickly. Hope your mom does not ask to see your 'underwear modeling' pictures..LOL. I look at this situation in the context of the subject matter. Lucas, in his first scene, was presented as someone who thought having sex with a "dude" was disgusting and nasty. Then he started posting on the forum and then contacting individual forumites through skype and other means. The picture of him which came out of all that was markedly different from the "image" he tried to create with his first video scene. Then comes the first BTS video introducing him; and, again, a different view of him than the original. Then a second Lucas-centric BTS video is posted which apparently only Ms. K saw, or at least she is the only one to have written that she had seen it and then it disappears. And on this thread she posts about finding Lucas' philosophy of life interesting and his views on monogamy and cheating making her stop and think.

Now the video is gone and differring reasons given. Given the whole whirlwind of contradiction surrounding Lucas and his becoming a Broke Straight Boys model, the cynic in me can't help but wonder if anything was said in the now-gone video which management doesn't want us to hear. And that is why I asked Ms. K that when (or if) the video is ever put back up, she watch it again so she can assure us that it is the same as she saw; and if not, what was changed. I would believe Ms.K's verification unequivocally.

changes, missing watermark, re-edit, bugs are different ways of saying something(s) should have been done before the video aired. it was not done to the level mark holds. it's the difference between overseeing and overlooking. ms. k would be the one who could know.
did someone leave a coke can on the table or mention a town in east tennessee? maybe, if pressed we can learn the name of that town.

sorry, i haven't kept up with lucas on the social media and other contact systems. being disgusted with the thought and finding out it's not that bad is a good thing. versatile sales better on webcam than unwilling to do anything. another model from this site said he was bi on the webcam site and very straight at Broke Straight Boys i am sure he was straight.
