I wish Mark success in his other ventures, but my interest is in Broke Straight Boys I've checked preview scenes of the other sites, but to me it is to quote the name of this thread "same old....same old....", typical Internet gay porn, with good looking buff gay boys kissing and sucking and fucking. That's not "my thing", whereas the Broke Straight Boys experience either "simulates" or is "reality porn", involving non-gay porn boys, and to quote Robert Frost, "And that has made all the difference."

Ok I get what you are saying and I to like the "reality" aspect of Broke Straight Boys, that is why I have stayed with it so long. What I and others are having the problem with is, is not the content. The problem that we are discussing is the continued promise of "new improved site" and the fact that the "new improved site" seems to get delayed more and more. If you look back at previous threads ( I do not have the time to go back and quote a specific thread right now) you will see that a "new improved site" that will take us to the "next level" was promised in the end of December 2010 to January 2011. Now it will be April. That is what my problem is.
As far as Broke Straight Boys using non-gay porn boys, many of the guys we are currently seeing have been on and are still on other sites. Does that make them non-gay porn boys, not in my book. I know you will now say that these scenes were shot before the other sites scenes, I have no way of diproving that so I will not argue that fact.
I really do enjoy Broke Straight Boys, the concept, most of the models, Davids comments or as some have called it "banter". I also give Mark credit for answering our comments instead of just ignoring us. As a businessman Mark needs to hear both the good and the bad about his product, that is what I try to do via the threads.
All I ask is for honesty. I would like to get a specific date for the new Broke Straight Boys and then stick to it. That would make me and a lot of other members very happy.
I would also like to see some of our suggestions used in the new scenes. I have many ideas that could be used. I have sent them in and heard nothing. I had a detailed plan for a scene last year during the contest, remember the contest that seemed to fade away, I sent it to David and said not to enter it because I could not go to Florida. He said he really
liked it and would like to use it. Nothing.
So, I will hang in a little longer because I do enjoy the site BUT if the site improvement does not happen in April, I will move along to whatever there is out there.

I and many of my friends on the forum feel the same way lpdude. We will wait to see if the new product satisfies our desires in a porn site, before deciding if this will continue to be the place to spend our money.

I agree with totally everything you said in calling Mark on it. IDK how old you are but in my 49 years , one thing I've learned is the entertainment business is 90% hype & what is the end result of that hype is almost always disappointing. So just don't get your hopes up & be realistic of course. I'm sure the "new" product is not what anyone of us truly hoped for.

I do not want people to take my comments the wrong way, I am not berating Mark or David in any way. It is their site and they can do what they want. I just feel as a customer we should not be led to believe something (the big change taking the site to the next level) is going to happen at one time then when the time comes we get told it will be another time.

I would hope that a date would be set, announced, and kept. My entertainment budget is very slim and I can't afford more than 1 site and I really want to stay with this one.

If you remember one year ago, the big thing was that HD was coming to Broke Straight Boys right after the first of the year. That dragged on and on before HD finally arrived. It was annoying to say the least..but it was worth the wait when HD finally arrived. Hopefully, the new Broke Straight Boys will end up with the same result as HD. One of my biggest hopes is that there will not be a 6-8 month lag (or more) between filming and posting of the episodes.
