Former forumite elyot1 was a big Duke fan and had a crush on Australian Jack White. I just read that Jack is currently 24 and a professional basketball player for Melbourne United of the National Basketball League (NBL).

This was Jack at Duke a few years ago.

I remember Jack from his days at Duke! I had a fantasy about Jack fucking Joey Baker and Duke's cute little guard at the time!

Yankees beat Boston in a real nail biter 6-5. But being this is Broke Straight Boys, I wanted to mention that I saw 25 year old Boston rookie, Jarred Duran for first time. Kid is 6’ 2”, 215 lbs. And very hot.

Worccester was called the armpit of the nation when I went university there.

I’m watching Yankees-Cincinnati Reds game. Brandon Drury is playing third base for Cincinnati. The Yankees had him in 2018 and I thought he was very cute. Unfortunately he was hurt all season and Yankees traded him. He is having his best season this year at age 29.

Yankees reacquired Tyler Wade from the Angels. He’s going to AAA Scranton for now but he’s a good fundamental player and cute.

Great news for Jack and DUKE NATION!!!!

Last night was the All Star Game in Los Angeles and the American League won again, and the MVP was Yankee outfielder Giancarlo Stanton with a monster home run to left, actually hit to the same area where he and his dad used to sit when he was growing up in the Los Angeles area as a kid.

Yankees are losing 5-3 against Mets in 5th inning. But rookie pitcher Ron Marinaccio is back from the injured list and he pitched well and I think he looks good.

He is a local kid from Toms River, New Jersey. He is 27, 6’2”, 205 lbs and I find him hot. I love his green eyes too.:smiley-love021:

Final score: Mets 6, Yankees 3 in a World Series like atmosphere, where the Yanks started with two solo home runs in the top of the first, only to have the Mets counter with a two home run, four run bottom of the first. Then both teams pitching took control basically for the rest of the game. Great first game of the 2022 Subway Series!

After the Mets defeating the Yanks last night, both teams remain in first place in their respective divisions, although the Yankees have a better record and a significantly larger lead.

As of this morning the Yankees are 66-32, 11-1/2 games in front of Toronto. The Mets are 60-37 with a 2 game lead over Atlanta. But we still have over two months and approximately 65 games left in the regular season, so a lot can happen to establish play off positions.

Tonight the Mets are heavy favorites with their ace Max Schurzer going against Domingo German who got bombed in Houston last Thursday, but we shall see tonight who prevails in Game 2 with two more games coming up in August at Yankee Stadium as the Subway Series moves on tonight in Flushing..

A fan made a spectacular catch of second Met home run in the bottom of the first inning last night, and he was wearing a Met jersey and a Yankee hat! I've never met a fan who rooted for both the Mets and Yankees (in major part because of their National versus American League rivalry) but I guess there must be a few!

Good game between two great teams tonight! Boone outmanaged the Mets in the 8th inning which cost Max a win, when the Mets brought in Peterson who gave up the game tieing two run homer in the top of the eighth, and Boone countered with his closer to stop the Mets in the bottom of the eighth. The trade off was no Yankee closer for the bottom of the ninth, when the Mets won it. The Mets' inability to add tack on runs continued and cost Max his win tonight on his birthday, but the Mets do fight to the end. Great pitching by both sides! As ESPN pointed out, German pitched a lot better than anticipated, which bodes well for the Yankees in the second half of an already great season!
