Ponderings for April 16th 2022

You might have notice I am a bit of a geek when someone talks about weather or climate. My love of the field began as a preteen and my advanced degrees are in the field. So when a guy talks about weather it gets my juices flowing almost as much as porn does!

I'm pondering about what my next fragrance purchase will be. I'm buying alarming rates of new tester samples to see what I like, I think I may have a problem 🤣🤣

Just got Dior Sauvage in today, it smells nice, not sure if I'll pickup a whole bottle or not on it. I smelled my others from the haul and the Tom Ford Noir extreme is going to be tomorrow's fragrance. Up after that Montblanc Legend and Viktor and Rolf spice bomb extreme...

As I write this, I have lost 51 lbs on my journey (61 from my highest weight about 2 years ago). I'm noticing so many changes in my face and body, plus I don't get out of breath as easily. I'm 25% there to my goal of dropping 200 lbs (yup I was over 400, what Fluffy would consider as Damn! 🤣)

I am so proud of you Chac. That must be terribly difficult for you but ultimately life changing and perhaps lifesaving. Keep up the great work to achieve yiur ultimate goal. Great work my friend. (y)

WE actually have some snow on the ground in NYC today, the first of the season here on the last day of February. But it is less than an inch but annoying slushy freezing rain. I had a bit of a hassle negotiating the sidewalks when I went out for the newspaper earlier. I’m getting ready to head off to work now. I can hear people outside shoveling so it should be easier making my way to the subway station and then to the office. By tonight it should be all melted. If this is it for snow this season, I’ll take it every year!

Today is March 6th, and while it’s still below 40 degrees F here in NYC, and there is a forecast of some snow this evening, it feels to me like spring is in the air. It may be physiological for me with MLB spring training into it’s second week in Florida, and Arizona with Opening Day a little over three weeks away, and March Madness is about to begin in NCAA Basketball.

But the air feels fresher when outside this morning. The trees are still bare, but I keep looking for buds to signify the green coming soon and with Day Light Savings coming this weekend, the days will be longer. Maybe I’m pushing the issue, but I do feel like March is a good sign of warmer days, and a resurgence of flowers and trees and all that good stuff!!! :sun:

The snow didn’t stick and so it is cool and clear out today. Spring is supposed to begin on March 20th. Every year it surprises me how everything transforms seemingly overnight. So today it still looks like winter but I’ll keep checking for signs of spring.

Those are my ponderings for today.

A record low winter snow year. Thanks for picture Mike.

Truly my pleasure. As I walk around and see something pleasing to my eyes, I take the phone out of my pocket and take a pic. I do love my iPhone.

As I was walking to the car tonight from visiting my Dad, I was sure wishing for spring, I was chilled to the bone. I'm actually sitting here soaking in my bathtub trying to warm up. This new medicine I'm on fucks with your internal thermostat (side effect apparently). I'm pretty much always cold now, it's a new experience for me. I have always been a large guy and even thinking of moving made me sweat 😅 and overheat, so I can't wait for spring and summer.

Hopefully we have an early Spring and you can warm up. As a side benefit to the warm weather each year, I love the guys out and about in less clothing. That warms me up big time. You too, Chac?

I went for a walk at the beach yesterday, the water was very calm for a change. For most guys this is probably a "no big deal" kind of thing, but yesterday as I was having some me time I actually saw my dick. That hasn't been the case for quite some time LOL

When I went out to do my Sunday morning chores, I thought that tomorrow is the first day of Spring, yet today feels like a mid winter day, at 31 F but with a windchill considerably colder. But I can’t complain as this has been the mildest NYC winter in my recollection and I know that it will turn around real quick.

As I looked at the bare trees, I started wondering just when I will see buds on the trees followed by the lush green leaves. I will keep checking each day as within a month there should be a rapid transformation. I decided to document the changes, so here is the first set of pics of bare trees in Brooklyn Heights on March 19th. I’ll try to document it regularly here on Chac’s ‘“Ponderings”” thread. 😀

Ha Ha! That is so great for you Chac. I am very proud of you for all the hard work. It’s also a funny coincidence that you and I were posting on this very thread at exactly the same time. May I ask what beach is near you? It looks pretty and of course my dirty mind wonders if the beach is populated by young men in the summer?

That's Nantucket Sound, I have not been to the nude beaches up by P-town or Truro..... Yet 😁 I gotta get a beach sticker for the summer to continue my walks there, and yes it is a busy beach, especially on the warm days, lots of eye candy there 😉

Try the nude Blacks Beach in San Diego

So you are close to P-Town? I had some amazing experiences up there. And I met one of my great summer flings there at The Boathouse. Fabulous place. Fabulous memories. 😍
