Joey - I have had the same thought. But then, this is Broke Straight Boys. In many of the cases that have been mentioned, they may fit the "Broke" adjective, but the "Straight" is not really negotiable and the "Boys" have turned to "Men" (tongue in cheek about where many have headed for new work.)
A reunion, similar to what was done on the TV show would be fun to see. A "Broke Straight Boys" reunion. Many a scene shot letting whomever wanted to hook up for a shoot do so and release one scene after another (of course, that would be after a couple of "Getting Reacquainted" episodes where they discuss how good life was at Broke Straight Boys studiios and management. If they can't/won't do that, they aren't invited!)
Sound good to others? It would look like Flag Day with all the "poles" that would be rising around the globe watching such. Yeah, I'm a dreamin' fool!
Johnny - Did you see the bareback scenes between Johnny and Vadim Black? Straight Johnny was all over and all about Vadim Black. If J.R. is really the "boy wonder" at that studio I think he gets what he wants - and it was obvious - that boy wants Vadim Black. In the final scene of J "Raw", he basically left the other two who were supposed to fuck him to their own devices and focused on Vadim Black. Relenting, he let the other two fulfill their contract then went back to Vadim Black - shouting orders. What a princess! I think since Bieber didn't respond to the $2 million offer, he came after our Vadim Black (they are both the same size and look really nice together.
And regarding Drake: I, for one, am certainly glad Broke Straight Boys got him from his other studios and into this one. Hang on to him. I like him as both a top and a bottom. Versatile Power Bottom is how i think of him.
One more thing. I would really like to see a rematch of him and Vadim Black. Both have bodies that are skin over solid muscle. Go re-watch the scene of Vadim Black topping Drake. Slap an ass - nothing moves - there is just a hand print. Caress a pec - no flesh moves - it is just enough skin to cover solid muscle. I didn't "know" I appreciate muscle guys so much. To the one more thing and the rematch. I'd really love to see it as a flip. Who can command whom the best. I think Drake will win that one! Given that premise - sort of like the scenes where David issued a challenge I believe the outcome would be one of the hottest scenes of all time - not just at Broke Straight Boys but from anywhere.
Of course, David H and Zeno Kostas could offer a similar outcome in that sort of challenge. Broke Straight Boys should do that. Drake and Vadim Black and then David and Zeno Kostas giving it their all to win a fan-voted "Favorite" contest between the two scenes. Winners get to take a nice vacation together (and go pick up a girl for a private 3-way) or just stick with what we know they are really gifted at doing!! I volunteer to move the camera equipment for the BTS footage for additional scenes to be enjoyed.
(Now, those are my fantasy picks. I know from reading the many forum threads that there are as many "tastes" as there are members and viewers so feel free to make your own "perfect scenes". Just thought I'd share mine.) Maybe I should stick with Fantasy Football.
oh - a post script - today that other studio release part 2 of Vadim Black's Email Sent 5-part series. Diego Sans took control over Vadim Black. They must have hired a stunt coordinator to pull off some of those positions! Vadim Black took a page from Drake's notebook and commanded "Don't stop", etc. to an explosive conclusion.

I agree ertas that they can only be "straight" and "boys" for a finite period of time, but a reunion type setting could be a lot of fun, not just for the more current models but for the boys of BSB1 and the early days of Clay and BSB2 as well. This site keeps it's audience coming back by featuring the younger demographic for the sex scenes but many of us have developed an attachment to some of our favorite models and would love to see how they are doing in life as they mature, like in the Logan scene from Market Days that I posted yesterday, but unfortunately the link was no longer active.

It may be cold, but it is a reality. Porn is for the most part a young man's game, and there is always some hot new kid showing up at the studio door that the customers have never seen before. It may be a harsh reality of the business but it is a reality none the less.
David, the director of BSB1 has always said that he told his models to go to college, or learn a trade as it is a relatively short career, and to prepare for the future.

By the way, the more posts that I read of Drake's the more respect I have for him. He seems to have a pretty good handle on the industry that he is currently in, and he takes tremendous care of his "tools of his trade", his body, and he gets as much work as he possibly can while he is still at the top of his game, and I would hope he has some money put away from his porn success and it will be a good foundation for his future endeavors in life. I think that Drake seems to "get it", and I congratulate him for that.

While my interest in the porn on this site remains the newbie, "believably straight", never seen before doing porn type of guys, the fact is that Drake is here and he has made over 500 posts, and being the "obsessed" fan of this site that I am, I read or at least skim through everything that is written here, (except for some of the posts by a supposed former fraternity member from Texas, but I digress. lol).
My point is that as I've read Drake's posts and learned a bit of his background and professional resume, and while his style of porn does not sexually excite me, I've come to respect the young man through his posts on the forum, as a very bright, well prepared young performer and I respect him as a professional. It was not my choice to have him join Broke Straight Boys, but the fact is that he is here, and I've come to respect and to like him as a person.
You've hit on the real crux of the matter here Mikey. I don't deny that porn by its very nature is a shallow, superficial matter of looks, and finding the right commercial niche for various kinks and preferences of the audience. In most porn it really doesn't matter if the model has a winning personality or is a good person to others in life. Other than on a few sites like Broke Straight Boys does it really matter if the model's personality comes across well on camera. Many times the models rarely even speak in their porn scenes on other sites. It's extremely rare out there to have interactive conversations with models in almost real time like we do here in the forum. So we do get a sense of their character. We share in their daily joys and their daily struggles. We get to share in some of their hopes and dreams for the future. For myself it's so much nicer to be able to get to know the whole person beyond just what his body looks like naked.
The cold reality is that porn is a young man's game. There's always somebody new waiting in the wings for his chance, who is younger, attractive, and has a fresher face for the audience. So it's a field where guys have to cash in early on it and then plan to move on quickly to something else in more mainstream jobs in order to make their living. That's why David (director of Broke Straight Boys-1) always preached to them to get an education and learn a marketable skill for the long term. If David, Clay, Johnny, Sha or Bryce tells a model that all models are replaceable eventually, in the context above...that's speaking the truth. But it's speaking truth out of genuine kindness and concern. Warning models that this isn't the kind of job that they can expect to do for 5-10 years is doing them a favor and making sure they have a reality check as to how temporary this can be. And certainly they have to have some job on the side at home even while they're doing porn.
My point earlier with telling a model he can be replaced though is that it is usually said as a form of manipulation, in order to instill fear...and spoken with malice, contempt and ill-intent. And it's taking advantage of vulnerable young guys who many times don't yet have the social skills and the courage to stand up for themselves in front of older adults. Especially when that older adult is in the role of a boss and has control over the money the younger man desperately needs. It's telling another human being (worthy of respect, dignity, kindness and love) that he is nothing but a disposable piece of meat to be discarded when the other person is finished with him. "If you don't like the pay...you can be replaced." "If you complain about being asked to do things that are physically or emotionally painful for you...you can be replaced." "If you won't have sex with me personally...you can be replaced." "If you complain about being physically injured during the course of filming...you can be replaced." "If you refuse to perform with another model because you are concerned about an ambiguity of his HIV status...you can be replaced."
Those are some of the many dark sides of telling a model that another model can be hired in their place. That's why I was upset that Drake had to hear that from a former boss. Because it sounded like it was spoken in a very flippant and contemptuous way.
You've encapsulated many of my thoughts here too Mikey. Being a longtime fan of the site I've tended to be a straight purist who has always enjoyed seeing the more amateur straight model type porn available here. In principle I'm not thrilled to see a lot of openly gay models or professional models on Broke Straight Boys The reality is though that the porn industry has changed drastically since we first joined the site. Much fewer uber-straight models are venturing into gay-for-pay porn nowadays because they know, in today's age of social media, that everybody in their personal lives will find out quickly. That well, while not completely empty, is getting drier. We hope that Broke Straight Boys will keep hiring the straightest or at least the straightest-acting models they can find. But in the meantime the reality is what it is.
Knowing the realities of the industry today, is it fair to be dismissive of the gayer or more professional models who come here now hoping to do well and who are earnestly trying very hard to perform to the best of their abilities and please us? And to earn money they many times desperately need to get by in life? I've decided that if I want to stay with the site (and I do!) that I have to put aside some of the straight fetish leanings that originally brought me to the site...so that I can extend the same warmth and love to the models of today that I've extended to those in the past. I have had some huge crushes and internet love for some past Broke Straight Boys models who I knew in my heart of hearts were actually gay. It was just more fun sometimes to try to keep up the fantasy that they were straight. haha
So for my fellow members like Mikey who are disappointed that the site is straying ever farther from its original straight fetish mission statement, I say that I feel your pain. It is disappointing for many of us. But in defense of the site and the staff, that older business model is now all but impossible to maintain and keep profitable at 3 updates per week year-round. I want the site to stay in business. I want to see it succeed and grow. And that's not easy in today's market. So they have to do what they have to do. Keeping the site as mostly amateur models and with as many straight and straight-acting models as possible, is still a winning formula.
Mikeyank - Cannot agree with you more. The whole reason I conceived of the idea is to bring back some of the early BSB1 guys who I have been "getting to know" since arriving at the Broke Straight Boys site in July and have been bouncing back and forth between the then and now scenes.) Some have become stars in the industry. Other seem to have just fallen out of site. That's why I thought the concept might be cost prohibitive. Yet, money is still money and those guys of whom you speak did it once and could maybe be talked into coming back. Sort of a "Boys to Men" and the current Broke Straight Boys. Bring them in for a few days, let them reminisce, wine em, dine em, and let them proceed to once again "get to intimately get to know" one another. They have to agree to that expectation if they agree to visit. A "Come and Cum" sort of invite.
Do you recall Nash, the former Nebraska All American wrestler (and one of his team mates) who was expelled for being filmed (pretty innocently) on I think, Fratmen back in about 2008? They got him back and he did a scene. He is a really hot man now. And, he says he will come back and expand beyond a fresh jack off scene.
This would go beyond the Broke Straight Boys TV shows - but maybe it would be considered already done.
