As another year goes by and 5785 arrives, may the new year bring sweetness and joy to those celebrating Rosh Hashanah. And may peace reign in Jerusalem

soon and forever.

Thank you dear sweet juanjo. You and I share our faith and go way back together on this forum to prehistoric times, lol. Wishing you and to any others here who celebrate a very sweet New Year.

Prehistoric is a good way to describe out presence here. We certainly are two of the OGs on Broke Straight Boys! And may that continue for many years to come. I though about you last weekend. I've been up spending the summer at my mother's place in Illinois. On Saturday I took my usual walk and about 9pm I was ensconced in my usual place in a small park near my house and about halfway between the dorms of the local state university and the bars & restaurants the students frequent. Around 10 or so some young man wandered up and plopped down on the bench beside me and started talking. Very much of a type, what I would describe as a Southside Chicago blue collar white boy. It's been a while since I have heard any young person speak that Southside Chicago accent so clearly and naturally. A few tattoos and a bit rough around the edges, like a young Chicago lad we all met on Broke Straight Boys when he was 18. He was attending school and playing football. He also apparently had a bit of a grandfather fixation because he was a little tipsy and extremely flirtatious. I do not kiss and tell but let's just say we walked over to my place for an hour or so before he had to return to his friends at the bars. Hopefully, I'll see him again before I head back to Puerto Vallarta in November. I do think he would very much have been your type since I was quite enamored and in general, our preferences in young men seem to coincide. Once again, may you have a sweet year.

Congratulations my friend. I’m sure he is very much my type and I can’t think of a nicer guy than you to have that experience. What a major score juanjo. Big congratulations!!!
