I'm thinking this was shot around the time Ian was fighting a cold or allergies. Not only was he sniffling and coughing, Kaden Alexander seemed to be very concerned as well...note the full on "opening up" he was giving Ian. Just sayin'(Yes, yes Ian...it's a gift.)

It doesn't surprise me that not many people are commenting on this scene. It was just ok and the rating it has speaks for itself. I personally am a huge Ian fan since day one and love everything about him but this scene just didn't do it for me. I haven't like Kaden Alexander since the beginning because of his attitude and demeanor which some people like but I don't. Plus black men don't do anything for me at all and that's a big reason for not liking him as a model. Got a 3 from me.
There were many things wrong with this scene. I guess listing them is the best way to understand why I found it tedious at best.
1) Ian may well have been sick in this video since he was coughing and sniffing. If a model really doesn't feel well, then they should call in sick and management should support that decision. After all, it's a job and we've all known when it's best if we not go to work because we won't function well.
2) The open, engaged and smiling Ian of scenes past has disappeared. He used to make a lot of eye contact, but in the last two scenes he rarely looked toward Johnny and during this scene he never looked Kaden Alexander in the eyes. During the interview, he only looked up briefly to respond to questions and then it was eyes down or around. When he finally got on his back for the cum shot, I never saw him look at Kaden Alexander, period. He shut his eyes and either concentrated on cuming, which took forever, or he was thinking about what he was going to order for lunch. In both of his last two scene's he was checked-out.
3) The first two fucking positions were really poorly done. That's the director's fault. Kaden Alexander has the length to get the job done, but Ian's top leg should have been up with his hip swiveled back. What we ended up seeing was VERY little motion. I'm amazed Kaden Alexander could stay hard. Ian getting fucked on his stomach was OK, but it went on for too long. It's a bad position for porn since the bottom is fairly well hidden and can hardly move. Broke Straight Boys should learn to follow the action instead of so rigidly dictating it. It's so obvious and bland. Let the guys switch around more and quit worrying about the damn script (such as they are). The best porn feels like it's following the desire's of the models, allowing their chemistry to dictate the action. This is a STRAIGHT site, but the more experienced models know what works for them and should be allowed to improvise more.
4) When the two were in the last position with Ian on his back, 80% of the camera work was on Ian. It just emphasized that Ian wasn't engaged. Eyes tight shut.
I know it's the money shot position, but the models usually say "i'm gonna cum" with enough time for the camera to get the shot.
The best thing about this scene was Kaden Alexander. He stayed hard, fucked in difficult positions and never ran out of steam (although at the end he was getting close after all the exertion... who wouldn't?). He's really come into his own as a performer. He gives his all in every scene.
I'm a big fan of Ian's and I recently started reading his posts. He's a smart kid and I think he really does want to do well. He said that he thought an upcoming scene with Cage Kafig was one of his best. I'm looking forward to it. This scene is currently sitting around 3.7. The last one is at 3.03. If a scene is going to be a real success, you have to engage, build some chemistry and be "present". He's certainly done it before. I hope he can again.

Really? You automatically don't like someone because of the color of their skin? Man how 1960"s!! I may not be a Black Man, but I'm non-caucasion and this offends me. I believe in everyones rights to their beliefs and opinions towards others, but once you write it down for all to see you leave yourself open critiscm and counter hatred. Got it! I've actually taken a break from Broke Straight Boys since this scene, I ended up getting very sick in the coming weeks and it eventually turned into pneumonia. So I decided it was best to step back for a while. Thanks for the feedback everyone, I really do read through everything to get everyone's opinions and thoughts. I plan to come back in the summer when I'm not so freakishly white, hahaha.

Maybe it's just "semantics" since, I read what you wrote and it came across the same way to me as Peter's interpretation. However that being said, I personally recall when Kayden was introduced as a model to the site. In my opinion, he's never really gotten the level of respect for his performances as many of the other "non-white" models. This is my personal opinion! I remember Mark coming on the forum to say something positive on Kayden's behalf as the comments were so negative; regarding his attitude (for the most part), which I never saw as bad. His feature in the BTS with other models like; Paul, Damien, Adam...really illustrated how "down to earth" and dedicated he was to his audience and giving a great performance, based on the "likes and desires" of the fans! It's not to say, by any means, that he should or will be liked by everyone, it is just unfortunate, as I see it, that he is one of few models, non-Caucasian, who has been a Broke Straight Boys model for a period of time and still doesn't seem as accepted as others. Again, this is just my opinion.

I hope you take Beth's advice and still keep posting whenever you feel like it. That's the beauty of a site like Broke Straight Boys We want updates on how things are going with you. When we become fans of a model we become fans of the person too. So just because any particular popular model isn't coming out with new scenes quickly, doesn't mean that we stop caring about him, wondering about him, sometimes worrying about him, etc.
It's not like other sites out there where viewers are fine with cutting off contact with models until they give them something new on film.
