Blake, you're a sensitive soul in a tough and often insensitive industry and the way you try to incorporate suggestions and ideas into your scenes just blows me away. Above that amazing feat is your interaction on the forum, which makes you a well loved person and not just a one dimensional porn star.

But trying to please everyone and appeal to a whole range of different tastes is always going to be an uphill battle. The elusive 'Broke Straight Boys Factor' that pushes a scene from a 4.5 to a 5 for a viewer is usually as elusive to the viewer as it is to you, so just keep doing what you're doing and know you're appreciated for being you, regardless of the rating of your scenes.

BTW. Remember, at this point in your Broke Straight Boys career it takes two (okay maybe 3) to make scene happen so creating a scene that's going to appeal to the majority of viewers doesn't rest entirely on your shoulders.

Sorry, but I'm not among those who hated Diesal bottoming. It was hot as hell seeing Diesal "Thou Shalt Never Top The Power Top" give up that ass. I don't agree that Diesal "is not a bottom." I think it was a sufficiently alien thing for him that it left him rather befuddled, and perhaps that means he wouldn't bottom frequently, but even he said after they stopped the fucking that it felt weird in a good way and that he expected it to feel worse. He also didn't say outright at the time that he would never do it again. He may have said something later (I'm not aware of it). but he didn't say it then. That scene has a pretty high rating, so I don't quite understand why people would say nobody liked it. The ratings simply don't bear that out. I am very disappointed that he never bottomed again. I think an opportunity was missed. Diesal was a good top, but I don't think he was a great top. I don't think you have to try to incorporate all tastes. I think different people here have very different ideas about what the site is about or maybe don't think the site is about anything but just want different things out of it. Ultimately, I think you have to define for yourself what you want your performances to be. I may be very wrong, but you strike me as someone who is approaching this as a life experience, and you are willing to try new things. That resonates with me because I think that is really what the site is about, and I feel lucky to be able to share in that experience with models who view it that way. For that same reason, I hold Colin in the same esteem. One of the things you could do is speak to other models who seem to have a strong following on the site and get an idea of how they approach their scenes--see if anything they do can be incorporated by you. But honestly, you aren't doing a thing wrong from my perspective. If you keep along the same trajectory, you will be where you need to be.

that really gets my juices flowing.

You have captured all my sentiments about this scene so concisely. And you said it all much better than I could have. I guess I look at some scenes just like the women. lol At times I really like all the reluctant, awkward and fumbling ways of the straight models who are doing this just for the money. Other times I'm looking for some chemistry and sentimentality. Even among straight models. Go figure. haha

Your comments about Johnny are spot on. He is progressing very well. Especially considering that we thought we might never see him back here. I think Johnny is beautiful. At least on the point of looks, Johnny was a fair match to Blake in this scene. I hope we see alot more of him.

I am with you that I am always looking for any physical contact beyond just the obvious necessary to perform the sex act. The caress, the hand around the slimmest part of the waist, a hand resting on another hand, eye contact that hints at moments of passion between straight models... One of my favorite things is contact of penis on penis. That's true whether it's foreplay before the sex or after the cumshots as they lean against each other and their dicks and balls make contact.

I enjoyed the part where Blake was stroking Johnny in a standing position. I realize that Johnny is new here but I wished he had been given more to do in this scene. Poor Blake is a nervous wreck both here and in his scene with Ayden. He has so few peers on the site because he has just jumped to the front of the line in understanding the entertainment aspect of the work. I realize that makes the task of casting him with others problematic. In 2 out of 3 bottoming scenes he gets thrown into choreography where most of the workload is on him. He knows that if he doesn't carry 70-80%, that the scene will be a disaster. No wonder he was a nervous wreck before this one. That's not fair to a guy who is trying bottoming for the first few times.

Blake always puts over a 100% effort into all his work. Regardless of how much he is expected to do in a particular scene. He couldn't have done any more or, tried any harder here than if he had stood on his head, belched a unicorn and made a rainbow shine out of his arse. haha He succeeded in giving us a fantastic scene...with Johnny's help of course.

We get into the different expectations between regular members of the site and those of us in the forum who get to know the models as real people. For Blake's first foray into bottoming I think most of us want only the best models possible for him to work with. I still feel that pairing Blake with Ayden for his first ever bottoming scene was a horrible idea. Certainly not because Ayden is not handsome enough. He's gorgeous! And from the little we know of him, he's a great guy. He has the potential to become a big star on the site. He was just too inexperienced and clueless as to what to do to make his own performance more interesting to watch. That's not his fault of course. I also found it a very difficult scene to watch, and did not watch the entire scene until over a year later. But we are obviously in a minority on this take, as I often read negative comments about the exclusive tops on the site, who "need" to bottom, as that seems to be the ultimate goal in many folks minds.

Yep the mike scene was another tough one to watch. Like you my ultimate fantasy isn't to see a top get bottomed especially a masculine top, what a turn off.
