HI Curious! Welcome to the forum.
I see some of the models you mention as a mixed bag. Johnny Forza, Tyler White, and Vadim Black all had issues while they filmed here. I'm usually loathe to singling out models for criticism. But you ask an honest and straight-forward question as to why certain models are no longer here, why the site was willing to let them go, etc. Your implication seeming to be that the studio was foolish for ever letting them go. Fair enough in feeling that way as a new member to the site. I'll try to answer some of that from my perspective as just another member (in others words, just your opinion) while being as gentle as I can towards said models. Keeping in mind of course that I don't claim that my answers are complete and infallible, have a monopoly on truth, or are the final say. (How could they be when you don't own the company, manage it, or work for it - again - your opinion; yet what you post below with respect to certain models is written as fact!!) I do not presume to have omniscient knowledge of things going on behind closed doors. (You shouldn't have any knowledge of what goes on behind closed doors, omniscient or otherwise, since you are nothing but a member like the rest of us; but what you have written below is full of things which strongly imply some degree of knowledge of what went on behind closed doors.) I certainly don't. Others may totally disagree with some of my opinions and conclusions.
Johnny Forza. Absolutely gorgeous body. No doubt. (In my mind at least.) Nice guy, but he had issues. Once he was signed to an exclusive contract he started to feel like all he had to do was show up on set with a smile and otherwise just go through the motions of a scene. Sometimes he just phoned some of his scenes in. He was also given so many scenes that he became overexposed and current members at the time got tired of seeing him so often. The quality of his work towards the end started slipping, along with his ratings.
He also got so full of himself and felt he was so special and important, that when he was called to fly out to the studio to film more scenes, he arrived with no luggage at all. I imagine he arrived from out of state to spend a week or at least a long weekend at the studio with only the clothes on his back. He probably showed up with just his wallet, keys, and cellphone, and little to nothing else beyond what fit in his pockets. I understand that he did this routinely. Not just once in a while. I guess he thought it was funny to show up at the airport with no suitcase and that members' dues would be used to buy him new clothes. So he expected the site (meaning us members) to buy him and provide him with full sets of new and clean clothes for those several days, a toothbrush, toothpaste, shaving cream, razors, shampoo, soap, deodorant, combs, brushes, etc, etc. One would hope that Broke Straight Boys does have some extras of those basic toiletries on hand for certain newer models especially, who are really down on their luck, sometimes going without much food at home and arriving with not much. But Johnny was one of the highest paid models of the site and had fairly steady work since he was in an exclusive contract. (How can you possibly know all of this about Johnny Forza? I can imagine only two ways: (1) from certain models you have talked to or otherwise communicated with - and if that were to be the case, that's gossip; or (2) you've gotten this from people in management - which would be bad form on its part - talking about employees current or former to any member. In any event, when you publish these kinds of assertions, you should feel obligated to footnote the source. You might say you are loathe to single out a model for criticism, but you sure did a hell of a job here and for the rest of your post.)
The BSB TV showed that the decision not to renew his exclusive contract was a very easy one for the staff. In fact the conversation management had with Johnny when he was sat down and told that he would be let go at the expiration of his contract, was actually recorded and aired on tv. The BSB TV also showed Johnny leaving the Broke Straight Boys house to be taken to the airport to fly home. As he stood in the doorway to leave, he had just the clothes on his back and looked like he could have just been going to the corner store to get a loaf of bread. One of the other models sarcastically asked him on his way out the door where his suitcase was. To which Johnny just chuckled and smiled.
Tyler White started off as a superb model. But then he went off the deep end into overacting and his ratings suddenly plummeted like a stone. There were also strong suspicions of substance abuse at the end of his time here. He also didn't endear himself any further to management when he came into the forum later and bashed employees of the site. I so hope that Tyler gets his life in order and finds happiness and contentment. He has the potential to be a really amazing man.
Vadim Black... The poor guy's a mess. He has often brought too much baggage to the table of the non-suitcase type. He got into the business at a very young age and didn't have the maturity and coping skills to deal with his life in general, let alone the responsibilities and social skills of holding down a job as a porn model. In the eyes of us members his popularity would just go up and down depending on how stable he was at the time. Some of his personal problems and issues unfortunately got played out rather publicly on the internet and here in the open forum. I always wish Vadim Black success and much happiness in life. In spite of everything...the good, the bad and the ugly, I still have love for him. Over his whole lifetime he has been through a LOT. I don't wish to go into a character assassination by re-hashing all of his dirty laundry. Much of it can still be found in the archives of older threads. But suffice to say that he had many issues while he was here.
Paul Canon was and still is one of the most beloved models of the site. But things got very messy and complicated towards the end of his time here. His relationship with management went south. Again, I'm not going to re-hash all the old news. Also again, much of the story played out in the open forum. I would LOVE to see Paul come back to the site again. However while it may not be impossible, unfortunately I don't see it as very likely.
I see that you had similar issues with Johnny that you did with Jimmy, Tampa. I was never a huge fan of Johnny's as his was not my ideal body type, but quite honestly none of the "issues" you mentioned bothered me or affected me in the least. And much like with Jimmy, I strongly believe that anything portrayed on the Broke Straight Boys-TV "Reality" show was contrived as they are on all TV "Reality" shows and if any of your issues were true like Broke Straight Boys having to buy him clothing or a toothbrush it is of no concern to me. My membership fee has not gone up and so how management spends their money is immaterial to me. That is between the model and management and not me.
Sha, I appreciate that you are willing to address the TV show as someone who was featured on the show and a part of production. I don't have a clear memory of Johnny Forza's participation during the show so I have no comment, but as you know I am very interested in Jimmy Johnson and have the following questions about his participation.Since I lived the show I can tell you that the only thing contrived during the filming was many of the activities. It isn't common for us to go out and play paint ball or have girls over to do a slip and slide. The "drama" that the director chose to show was real. That drama was SMALL in comparison to most of the things there was going on at that time. Even during the show there was a lot of drama that wasn't captured because the film crew wasn't with us 24 hours a day and they always seemed to wrap before the craziness started.
I did not say you were wrong; all I said was what you wrote should be footnoted because you wrote them as fact. So are you saying that every assertion you made about those guys in your post was made in bts scenes by someone else? which you can't remember when but your photographic memory remembers their content? Good for you.
And it has nothing to do with proving something to me - I could care less what you write per se. But unless you mean to gossip you should source the facts you write especially when they besmirch someone else.

Really Stowe?
I watch BTS vids. Footnote: Sabrina talked about Johnny showing up with no luggage in a BTS vid. Don't remember which one. I'm not going to waste my time finding it. If you want to look through all of them to prove me wrong...then have at it. I don't have to waste my time going through archives trying to prove anything to you.
I miss many of the old guys also. I also enjoy the behind the scenes drama. I agree most of the new guys are not as hot as the above mentioned. Some of the cutest hottest guys are hot messes and it's true out there in the real world as well. I'm sure it's a real challenge to deal with all the personalities. Young guys in general don't have their act together then you add in sexual drama like straight guys having gay sex. If they are straight then that's a pretty big head trip, I suspect most are at least bi-curious but needless to say that's drama in its self. Then you get guys needing money or having bigger money to blow. Throw in drugs and partying which is ever present in young guys and I can't even imagine what Broke Straight Boys might be dealing with trying to manage all this. I'm sure the popular little gods like Vadim Black, Tyler etc. Turn into little devas and what else would one expect. Doesn't mean we don't like watching them though. I really like keeping up with the older ones. I love the fact Dakota is back hotter and more mature. I would love to see behind the scenes catch ups and new scenes with the old hot guys but I'm sure many of them have burned their bridges. I guess it's the nature of the beast, Vadim Black and others are out there with other studios and curious to me being a top. I guess it's too much to ask for some of these beauties to actually have their heads together. It would be nice though if some of them would kiss and make up and give us some more of their hot asses!
Great post Elyot! That is exactly how I saw the Tyler White story too, a classic rags to riches to rags story and a new comeback would be very cool.Been here for awhile and honestly have no idea why Tyler White left. I heard or heard that he and Ronan Kennedy walked out together. Is this true? I liked Tyler from the beginning. He was new to it all and struggling to deal with the fact that he did deep down enjoy having sex with other guys. It was interesting to watch. Then he got full of himself and thought he was the be all and end all of gay porn thinking he would forever be the 'Hot one." Think he felt threatened by some of the new 'hot guys' to the site. I'm sure he was hard to deal with. Became a diva that wasn't fun for management to deal with. He left or was fired, whichever, his porn career dried up. He went through a really rocky period. Now I think he realizes what he had and what he's lost. I for one would love to see him come back for maybe a trial period to see if he's still got whatever it was he had. I think he wants to. He must have really done something to really hurt and piss off Mark. Wish that could be healed.
As for Ronan Kennedy...he's sober now. Think he has got his priorities straight. Would LOVE to see him back. He and Tanner would make a dream team.
As the song goes "Don't it always seem to go that you don't know what you've got til it's gone?"
