I don't want people to leave, but if they are going to keep giving unconstrive criticism and wishing for something that's not going to happen (David isn't coming back) then leave.. I'm tired of hearing it and I don't care what your unscientific poll of bitter queens says. I want to see the poll after a few months when we actually see sex scenes (one of which is coming 4/18).

Again, I ask you qscott, why you continue to insult the people who disagree with you? Using terms like bitter queens, and cry babies, and your generally condescending tone to people you disagree with is very insulting. Keep in mind that these people feel as passionately about this site, as you do, or else they would not be posting on the forum. Just because their opinion is totally opposite of yours, why can't you respect their opinion while civilly countering with your thoughts.
I believe that we are all over age 18, and are adults. Some of us have been here for a while, and we love and respect our friends here, whether we like the same kind of porn or not. I actually agree with your opinion about the porn, but I really don't like the way you talk to our fellow "forumites" at all.
I think that's a fair criticism of me, but I haven't yet found a better way to describe the debbie downers I've seen whining on here so far. Gary, I'm not sure what you're point is .. that "poll" surveyed less than 50 people, is an unofficial poll, and was added by a person who was bitter about the changes to the site so the intent is clear and the bias is transparent. Why would we add the last three? Because it suits your "point"?
Announcing you've supposedly cancelled your subscription isn't going to bring David back which is what you're trying to accomplish with these little spiteful messages you keep posting. David is gone and he doesn't want to continue doing the site anyways. I like reading constructive criticism, but as far as that goes, you're bankrupt.

I am not Mark but if it were me who was developing policy I would be saying "OK I see where people are coming from & they are saying that they like the style of the BSBv1 & try & incorporate some of it in to the current Broke Straight Boys".
No it's not constructive. Constructive would be saying how the site should improve or saying specifically what you liked from Broke Straight Boys 1.0. Rather, people just want to be complain and let's face it--some people are just in the business of complaining. I have no problem with them incorporating SOME of the elements from the first series into this one. But I do not want the site to return to what it has.. we endured that for years. It was good at first, but it went downhill in recent years.
I guess I should define "we" are people with taste which may or may not include you. It wasn't "so bad"...there were some scenes I liked so I checked in from time to time.. I never had a long term subscription.
Now how did I know I was going to get that sort of response.

I just did a little math to see where things are standing to date and if you add the bottom two categories together since they are sort of negative and add the top two categories since they are mostly positive and leave the middle one on it’s own as a middle of the road you end up with 22.6% either in favor or giving it some time. 15.9% are undetermined on middle ground and 62% are currently not in favor. Now since we have had a surprise sex scene in tonight’s video I am anxious to see if this changes the poll. Someone accused me of posting this poll from a negative point of view. I assure you this is not the case and I only posted it to hopefully help management get a better idea of what his customers were thinking without having to read and decipher all the pro and con bantering that has been going on the forum. I have been a member for a long time and I love the site. I sincerely hope management will use this information and structure the site to best fit the desires of the users. When I made the poll my hopes were that the conversation would stay civil and constructive instead of just another bitch session. If you have some constructive comments to make on how to improve the site or why you like it the way it is please share them. If you just want to bitch and blame some one else for saying something please take it elsewhere. This thread is for the people that care.

I agree with Denny Bear, keep it about what Broke Straight Boys can do to improve this site, be honest, but also constructive. I like the direction of the new producers, a little slow in coming, in the sex scene department, but todays video made up for that, damn hot if you ask me. Now........if you continue in that vein then you got yourself a winner boys.
I like the fact that these models are so damn reluctant to do very much at the beginning. Overall the look is nice, but I hate that you have to download all the pictures now. I use those more than the videos, and I hate that all the photos aren't all up like they were before. I don't wanna download them all, because I don't want ALL of them. Doesn't seem like there were as many photos as before either. Gotta say I really REALLY hate the new format. The old way wasn't broke so why bother?
