I just joined a couple of weeks ago, just before the launch of Broke Straight Boys 2.0. The models since the re-launch are rough looking and do not appeal to me. Not a fan of tatoo art. Models look like junkies looking to get cash for their next fix.

People- We waited for months and months for the new format, new narrator, new models and new Broke Straight Boys and after only 6 episodes everyone is jumping ship! Give it atleat 2 months before you start walking off the pier, jumping off the bridge, laying on the train tracks.
I realize people do not like change, I learned in psych class that it takes 21 consecutve days to break a habit, so why not give it 21 episodes before we declare it open season on Mark and the rest of the people at Broke Straight Boys! After all sometimes trying something new takes a while to get use to.
But as usual that is just my opinion.

I do agree that they guys look a little shady and I also am not a fan of over tattooing.
I also realize that guys my age are into tattoos, especially the under educated ones that think it makes them look cool. Most of the guys here at school have meaningful artwork on places of their bodies that are not visible unless they are shirtless or pantless. The guy in the room next door has a tattoo above his crotch but below his underwear waistline commerating his winning the state championship for swimming in high school.
But the guys on the site seem to be into it just because they think it makes them a thug.
As far as the guys looking like they are looking for their next fix, maybe it is true. Especially the guy who lives in a box under a bridge. maybe he should sell his earrings and quit with the body art until he has somewhere to live and can support himself other than on here.
Remember, Mike Robbins, he had tattoos but no one hated him for it.
I think we all need to sit back and give it a while longer and see if maybe the models improve a little bit. I have checked out some other sites and the tatoos are there also.

At this point, I can only say half and half.

Broke Straight Boys is the only porn site I've ever subscribed to and although it's had it's ups and downs (no pun intended), at the end of the month, I think it's worth the monthly fee. I can only imagine hard hard it is to keep things fresh and hot. “Erik & Ross” are off the chart hot and difficult to duplicate. (I like to imagine that they are somewhere together enjoying their life together after discovering their connection through Broke Straight Boys)

Anyway, I think I would use the word disappointed but willing to wait a little longer before looking elsewhere.

I, too, am giving this more time. I realize that it is hard to accept such changes as have been made. We complained about the D&E productions, too. I haven't seen anything to tempt me to download or even watch in it's entirety, yet. I'm hopeful and anxiously awaiting the one model that makes the wait worth while to keep me interested. The last few months of Broke Straight Boys 1.0 didn't do much to keep me interested, either. I'm looking for some content that is intriguing and sexy, for models that have charisma, and a realism that makes me buy into the premise of the site.

I will say this much. I hate the cash on the couch.

i remember back in december we were told the end of Broke Straight Boys 1.0 is near. i decided then to stay and see what Broke Straight Boys 2.0 would like.
the models and the storylines are over the top. are these guys here for tea and conversation? doesn't anyone screw anymore?

I want to celebrate the many contribution's the fairer sex has made over the years to Broke Straight Boys's success. When I first came to Broke Straight Boys a year ago, I was somewhat surprised and slightly put off that we had women members, many of them straight, on a gay for pay porn site. Yet, one has to admit that our women members have provided much warmth and understanding at large, while occasionally functoning as a shoulder to lean on as well. They have exhibited the fact that their sense of humor is every bit as fully functioning as is ours. Their appreciation for certain models is every bit as fierce as the gay guys loyalty, too. We need to view this site as a "community of friends" as opposed to a "community of adversaries".

There is a lot to gain working for the common good of Broke Straight Boys members without having to further divide and sub-divide etc. Lets accept each others diffenences as unique gifts they bring to the site, while avoiding telling others where they may go, if they do not find exactly what they want. Inclusiveness is much better quality than being "Exclusive only".

Thanks Abe for being a Broke Straight Boys trailblazer! We look forward to your return when things get settled! Thanks, too, for the many contributions Ms. Kianna, Lovelumps, Ms. Diedra and the rest of the girls, benefitting us with their insights and good taste! If Broke Straight Boys is to ever succeed returning to its former glory, we need to join our efforts cooperatively to encourage change we ALL can believe in and enjoy together!

I agree.. people are having selective memory. They are so upset that you aren't going to continue their same GAY models over and over.. the bitterness is not unlike gay men I suppose.
