HAHA ;D So I just realized that coming up here in about 3 weeks is CHRISTMAS! While this IS a joyous Holiday for a lot of families worldwide, it's not the ONLY Holiday during this season. Does anyone celebrate Christmas as well as other Holidays? Or celebrate a Holiday other than Christmas alltogether?

Well Paul some of us are not Christians although I have no issues with those who are. Today is Bodhi Day, the celebration of the Enlightenment of the Buddha and I went down to the local Nichiren Buddhist Temple with some friends to participate in the festivities this morning. Lots of fun for all present. Hanukkah was early this year and my family always celebrates that. But it is more of a social and ethnic thing than a religious thing although it has religious overtones. Strangely it has become much bigger in the US than it was in other places simply because of Christmas. When I was a kid it was common to receive oranges and perhaps a bit of chocolate as a gift, eat potato pancakes and light the menorah. Now people have much more elaborate celebrations and give lots of gifts to their kids.

But Paul, I hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving and have a great Christmas. I always have enjoyed watching you and reading your comments.
