Forum posting issues

Lucky you, I found out after all my posting today!
I think I found one issue already. I posted on the "Politics" thread today. I couldn't even find it in the general forum catalog going page by page. I had to eventually hunt it down by using the search bar feature in the upper right hand corner.
Then I posted on it today (twice) and the thread has not come up at all in the feed of new posts or recently active conversations. And I still can't find the thread on the long list, going several pages deep. It seems to have fallen off the face of the earth. haha

I am not experiencing that issue. The post you made about Roman buildings was on top of my list of forum posts. I also posted five or six pics from my visit to the Museum of Natural History earlier today, and the pic posting process was smooth and effortless. So perhaps these issues are not on all browsers, but for me everything is operating as normal with no issues.

Upgrade has been completed. You can try those image types you wanted but I am not sure if they were on the list of upgrades.

I asked them about it and they said webp will be in the next upgrade. I'm not sure when that is. I am surprised they didn't add it to this one.

Try either,”what’s new” or “Forums” tab. “New Posts” only shows posts that you have not yet read. The others that I mentioned include ALL new posts, whether you’ve read them or not.

That's really weird. They did an upgrade to the software but that would be a really weird bug
Fortunately at 3 AM it was back to normal!
