Favorite Holiday Songs :)

Hey Everyone,

I wanted to start a thread of Holiday Songs. If you have a favorite version of a holiday classic or just a quirky one that you like... Please share it with us.

This one that I found interesting not so much for the song itself, but for the two men are who are singing it. lol This is a clip from the late 60's wholesome family tv show "Here Come the Brides". It features one of my favorite teen idols of the late 60's, early 70's. Plus his beautiful blonde co-star.

In the spirit of the holidays, I wanted to revive Tampa’s thread started in November 2013. I found myself humming this song as I was out and about on this freezing December 22, 2024 morning!!!

I have a favorite but cannot find any video to attach to my reply. "I want a hippopotamus for Christmas." I loved that song growing up, so much that my mother banned it from being played for a while. Little does she know I still have the College Dudes it is on hidden away in my bedroom.

My favorite line in that song was after his mother threatened that the hippo could eat him, the kid did research and found out that hypos are vegetarians!

OMG, I totally forgot about this album! I used to play this over and over at my grandma's house, then suddenly one day the record was missing, and no one knew where it went . I'm sure it was tucked in a corner of the attic buried deep where a young boy wouldn't think to look . God bless my patient grandma LOL
