Hey Everyone,

I wanted to start a thread of Holiday Songs. If you have a favorite version of a holiday classic or just a quirky one that you like... Please share it with us.

This one that I found interesting not so much for the song itself, but for the two men are who are singing it. lol This is a clip from the late 60's wholesome family tv show "Here Come the Brides". It features one of my favorite teen idols of the late 60's, early 70's. Plus his beautiful blonde co-star.

While not a holiday "song" per se, this one does put me in a wintery Christmas mood. lol :)

Again... While not a Christmas song, it so uplifting and still puts me in a great holiday mood. :)

Hi Tampa
Love the videos. My favorites unfortunately do not have videos with them. First my all time favorites are with Perry Como singing "One Small Child", "Oh Holy Night" and "What Child is This"
Secondly would be all of Manheim Steamroller Christmas songs - particularly " Silent Night" and "Angels We Have heard On High". I believe that Manheim Steamroller did a TV spot years ago but am unable to locate it.

Is this one of the songs you were looking for Gardenboy? Listening to the music and the voice of Perry Como brings back many childhood memories.

Hi Tampa
sure is - thanks. I don't think any singer can compare to Como (and of course his hometown of Cannonsburg, Pa is just over the hill from me)

I have a favorite but cannot find any video to attach to my reply. "I want a hippopotamus for Christmas." I loved that song growing up, so much that my mother banned it from being played for a while. Little does she know I still have the College Dudes it is on hidden away in my bedroom.

Thanks Gardenboy. The credit actually goes to Mikey though for finding the song. :)
