Dustin: The Farewell Episodes

A while back, Mark was asked about Dustin and whether there were other shoots in the "can". Mark said there were and would be posted later. Of course this was before the "incident"

My question: Could these episodes that have already been filmed be shown in a sort of "farewell tour" for the members, or a farewell compilation DVD special that we could buy?

Good point! The problem with DVDs, its expensive to make. We have to order a minimum of 1000 units and then we have to prepare the cover artwork and then prepare it for retail use. The only problem with an investment like that is that Dustin is only popular on Broke Straight Boys site. Outside of Broke Straight Boys, nobody knows who he is so the DVD will not sell. To invest $$$$ just to make a DVD compilation of Dustin, we would most likely sell about 100 units and its not worth the time, money or effort. If Dustin becomes a huge porn star like a Mathew Rush, then it would be worth doing it and we can market the DVD. Although, BSBers love Dustin and enjoy his work...I doubt he will become a huge porn star.

As for placing a compilation on the site...I can speak to Mark and the staff and lets see what we can come up with so at least you guys can see the "best of...." Dustin, but I can't promise anything at this point.

Dave I understand what you are saying about the expense of producing the DVD's, especially in the quantity that you say you have to produce. So why not go ahead and post the remaining shoots that you have "In The Can" of Dustin. I know he is no longer with Broke Straight Boys, but that doesn't take away from the fact that he is still loved and missed. I know his unseen shoots are as HOT as hell and it would be ashame to waste them. So please share them with us in some way.

I love Dustin and miss him as well. I do hope something can be worked out so we can see these unseen shoots that haven't been released and past episodes from time to time and be able to watch him hard at work.

Wow, this is getting kind of like a "Soap Opera." LOL

Dustin marketed himself as a solo performer. Since then Dustin parted ways on good terms with the company. Mark and David had assured us that there are more Dustin clips in the vault. So, Members are asking if they will show the rest of Dustin's shoots. Leading us to today's information from David, above. I think that about coveres it.

Dustin is a nice guy obviously. He has a nice frame, but is one of these dudes who either has an inherited tendency to lay on a li'l coating of fat over his muscles, or doesn't take all that much care about exercise and diet. He's got progressively balder and balder during the course of his work with Blu, and in order to do his job he often needs a ring of some kind to get and keep a stiffy. David said it all when he expressed doubts that he'd ever turn into a porn star with enough clout to sell out a 1000 unit burn. I feel bad saying all that, and if Mark can get some of his vids-in-waiting up for us to see, I'll be right there watching with everyone else, but frankly he's fairly far down on my list of hotties. Since everyone else totally loves him I guess he'll be able to be fairly philosophical about my curbed enthusiasm, am I right Dustin?

Mark, Here's a suggestion. Could you give us a biography on the different guys. If not, it would also be great if we could bring up all the episoles of our favorite guys at once. For instance, if I wanted to watch every episole with Dustin, I could click on his name and be taken to a page with all those episole. You do a great job.

What makes a guy hot is not a hard body, what makes him hot is how much he gets into the scene. I like the way he touches his partners and reacts to them. That to me is sexy. Actually I felt what I'd written was shallow too, and you are totally right in what you say elyot. But for sheer empathy there are other dudes who have Dustin beat. The famous Ross and Eric scene with the leather belt for instance, they were so into each other, mentally and physically, each attuned to the other guy, considerate and complicit. And come to think of it, Eric had a body much like Dustin's.

What was the "incident" involving Dustin? I must have missed that.

In a nutshell, Dustin posted a hot video of himself and another guy on XTube. They asked the public for money to view more and other videos and alluded to the fact that they were doing the video under the Broke Straight Boys name. This was not true and the Broke Straight Boys management asked Dustin to leave the fold. That is it in a nutshell without going into a long dissertation on the subject.

Ahem, if you've been so astute in finding this thread then you shouldn't have any problems finding the answer to your question.
