Dear SVGBOB,
I realize that I was just one member with no particular sway, but I warned that..."if something is not broken, don't fix it." Things were not perfect before BSB2, but some people are never satisfied and always feeling the "
GRASS IS GREENER ON THE OTHER SIDE. I feel what we have to show for all the changes illustrates my point.
I thank God, that's right, I thank God that the original episodes have stayed available. They are sexually pleasing, entertaining, and much more mainstream in my humble opinion (I am not intending to criticize Clay here). When I first heard of
Broke Straight Boys, the word "Broke" to me meant the models were open to more sexual experiences than just remaining exclusively "straight". The personal process of innate sexual curiosity they possessed "broke their straight mindset". Never ever did it occur to me that they had to be "totally destitute" or "street people". Thankfully, "Broke" today no longer automatically means preying on "the poorest of the poor".
In my two month absence from
Broke Straight Boys, I am greatly encouraged to see the likes of Bobby and Mick as models and the return of quality former models like "Jason". What a delight Jason is to me. It is as much due to both his beautiful body and his willingness to do whatever it takes for the scene to work. Jason is what I admire in a true "Team Player". What separates these guys form the initial
Broke Straight Boys-2 hirees is that these three guys want to entertain the members as all good models would. These guys seem more than willing to be "cooperative" during the shoot. While they might not be available were it not for the money exchanged, they seem at least able to enjoy the sexual experience, even if only as an addition to their established straight repertoire.
My feelings about any employee working for
Broke Straight Boys is that they were not forced to sign a contract for a shoot and, if they are still unwilling or present a negative attitude during a shoot, I think it is only reasonable they should not be invited for future updates (
without an attitude adjustment). Any other retail business having an employee with a bad attitude on the sales floor would do the same thing.
In my opinion historically speaking, we had many very attractive/willing models on the original
Broke Straight Boys and it seems less so today. We had the occasional destitute model/charity case in the original
Broke Straight Boys, but not nearly so many as we have here although it seems to be improving. Admittedly original models had a financial motive for being here, but they did not seem so downtrodden back then. It may not be their fault today, but I find this a major turnoff especially during these hard times. I have been financially broke many times in my life, but I never portrayed myself as being destitute or homeless.
Furthermore, while I have only had sex with "straight guys" in my entire life, I never targeted straight guys specifically. I was more interested in those who were curious and open enough to entertain something a little different. BJ's are not particularly gender-specific for those receiving one. That does not mean that I cannot enjoy seeing someone who identifies as "gay" having sex with someone straight or curious. Some of our very best and most popular
Broke Straight Boys models were in fact gay, even if they did not admit it at first. When I first came to
Broke Straight Boys, I remember members saying over and over again they didn't believe in "LABELS". Neither do I so I consider what someone is willing to do sexually as more indicative of who they in fact are than some arbitrary label, like "Straight". Contrary to that piece of wisdom about labels, evidently a significant number of vocal
Broke Straight Boys members won out and we are now "hung up" on the label "Straight". Occasionally I heard the phrase "nelly" used pejoratively on site in reference to a few isolated gay models rarely used on
Broke Straight Boys-1. And since the general consensus among gays today is a "
preference for straight-acting models", just maybe the complaints made by these same unhappy members more accurately meant "straight-acting" this more so than the strict interpretation of "STRAIGHT ONLY". With the consistent popularity of "
Cousin Mikey" on site, had the current policy been in place, he would never have graced any of our
Broke Straight Boys episodes so many found popular. This one fact is something I cannot reconcile with the current emphasis placed on "Straight Models".
While this is not intended to be a complaint on my part, I feel this is an area we need to revisit the trajectory of hiring new models for
Broke Straight Boys-2. I feel the influence of
College Dudes is a positive and moderating one for
Broke Straight Boys, so we can work our way back to a more "middle-of-the-road position" and not be so "
LABEL CONSCIOUS".
Sincerely Unstraight,
Stimpy, aka Cumrag27
