Disappointed after 3 months

I have been patient and quiet for the most part lately. I kept waiting and waiting and nothing has really improved. I guess it just boils down to the fact that these guys, well most of them, look like they came out of a cookie cutter, tats and shaved heads, with a couple of exceptions of course. I miss the cousins, Nelson, Austin Shawn, Shane, etc.... I know I will be attacked and vilified, but it is just the way I feel.....I feel sad.

i have had my thinking called idiotic at times. call it what you wish, but my opinions are my own.
i think a lot has changed. no more money thrown across the room, no more 8 minute conversations before the action.
i look at guys like mick, jason, jack, and mark and i see guys as different from each other as one snowflake is from other.

Mark, everyone, more or less, has a hard job. I've heard yours called stuff like "the dream job made in heaven" because you get to work with cute guys who take their clothes off and have sex with each other.

But on reflection I can't think of too many things more hellish than to try to run a bunch of porn sites catering to the fetishes of a group of individuals, each with his/her own specific necessities, who have to have it just the way they need it or otherwise it doesn't "work".

Bel Ami for instance is a terrifically successful porn site with absolutely amazingly hot young guys who get it on together in beautifully staged surroundings without any of the subtle nonsense that you guys take so much trouble getting just right. The Bel Ami people don't have to play the straightie card so carefully; they don't have to get the gay for pay thing explained to the satisfaction of the consumer, nor provide brand new faces as often, nor mention the payment in just exactly the right way.

Slim, as usual you get down to the essence of the difference between this site and other gay porn sites. To the folks who say that Jimmy Johnson is not suited to working in gay porn, or who criticize Jamie for "flipping the bird" or saying "fuck you" during his scenes don't see this difference.

If I wanted to watch all buff, smooth, well hung beautiful twinks making passionate love, while fucking their partners while gently caressing their bodies and passionately kissing, I could go to a hundred different sites that all feature those types of scenes.

My two cents...

I think the new Broke Straight Boys's is doing very well. There are some really good models, especially Rocco, Mick, Jason, Darren and Bobby. Clay has tried some new bits; some have worked great (Jimmy cumming in Jasons mouth), and some have been abysmal flops (Someone (?) cumming on Brody's earring). In general, I think there are more truly straight guys on the site.
My biggest complaint is the unevenness of the scenes. I think the main problem is keeping up the momentum and letting the intensity grow from the beginning where it's chat (which I like) to the end where someone getting fucked blows his load (as an example). Part of this has to do with the direction the guys receive and part with the chemistry between the guys. It's the director's instincts on when to step in and when to let what's happening naturally continue. I've been watching some of the old Broke Straight Boys episodes. There were a lot of clinkers, but also a lot of gems. Watching Tyler and Dustin, Diesal and Jimmy, Jeremy and Ken, Aidan and Jamie or Tyler, Mike Robbins, etc., you get a feel for the chemistry between the models. That chemistry shows up on the screen and makes all the difference.
I think Clay needs to develop his instincts about what is going on in the models heads about the sex and use it to get them to perform less woodenly. Watching Jimmie pump someone like crazy for 10 minutes while the guy grunts is not particularly hot. Jimmie is a great model for the road; I've watched much of the footage of his travels and he's a sexy guy that brings them in. He and Rob and Cole are great out there. But I don't find Jimmie especially effective as a top in the scenes. He's often distracted and rarely develops a rapport with his partner. He's really just NOT into it. Compared to the other alpha tops of the past, he doesn't really rate. I love looking at him with his great body and grin, but don't find him compelling as a gay for pay model. Rocco and Darren give hotter, more focused performances.
As I said before, BSB2 is doing well and developing all the time. We all have our tastes as others have mentioned. I like fuck scenes, the nastier the better. I like the guys beefier and the tops aggressive. I could go on, but the point is the one made by others that the site cannot fulfill everyone's desires. Each of us have our own little porn site going on in our head. We do the best we can to find a site that ties into that. There are thousands of sites. Seek out the one that fits best with your desires.
I only belong to Broke Straight Boys Partly because it has great Bonus sites (that hardly ever get mentioned). Better than any other site I've toured. So there is always something new on this site to explore. Best of Broke Straight Boys, and lots of other options!

It says in the bouns sites area that more are comming soon. Now that has been like that for so long. Why does it take so long for more to be put up? Can't you put CircleJerkBoys.com up. That is one great site and would draw more People to this site too. Now thats just 1 idea, the are so many to choose from. And i have to say it would be nice to see an older face once in a while. There are so many modls to choose from, and I would choose a fan favorite that people have come to know and love. It wold be nice to see some more kissing, and get them to do rimming. Bigslim, they have actually added a lot of bonus sites. If you go into the H.S. Boys site, they are all in there. They have added a ton in the last year, in all kinds of themes. My personal favorite is Jeremy Hall.
