Well, that answers that question. He couldn't remember Jimmy's name!

He does have a fella back home, but still fools around with the chicks.

I'm looking forward to the shoot with Shane, and really look forward to him @ College Boy Physicals. He likes Dr. Topnbottom, and he also likes kink! :001_tt2:

Nice guy our Diesal. :001_smile:

I'm not a real fan of Diesal, while I have nothing against him, he is not physically "my type". But he was totally cool, and I thoroughly enjoyed the interview. Like Tyler and Mike, it was terrific to see Diesal being more of the real person that he is, and not just the dude on the futon naked and hard and moaning.

I understand that the other three names that Scorpio listed will be the next interviews, but I would LOVE to see Logan interviewed. Hopefully that will happen sometime in the new year. I do love this new feature of behind the scenes.

Wow, did my ears hear that correctly? Diesal is going to be topping Shane in a video to come (cum) ?

Coooll!! I'm so happy that we finally get to see Diesal. For models like diesel I wouldn't mind seeing tham extended to 20 minutes or more. Five to seven minutes is so rushed. In this one David kept talking over Diesal. And you can tell that Diesal would have liked and been willing to answer some of those questions more at length. I hope he comes back for more interviews.

Since he really likes Sean I'd love to see the two of them do a scene on College Boy Physicals. Who would have thought that their two personalities would have hit it off so well?

And Diesal Topping Shane!! Diesal has tried the electro devices on College Boy Physicals and likes them... Alot. He's into kink. But they couldn't remember Jimmy's name. Interesting. Even though it may be his real name since it's tattooed on his arm.

I know, but there are now two Shanes. You couldn't really tell for sure from what Diesal said which one it might be, but big blond Shane (who joined Logan in the Rickyshag) is the only one I would call "really experienced" since he's a pornstar (and not a budding clothing entrepreneur). His beauty level is way up at the top of the scale, and the idea of seeing beautiful Diesal fuck him is mindbending. Especially now that we know for pretty sure that Diesal is, well, gay. Ish.

On the other hand seeing Diesal fuck pale haggard little Tank Shane would be just as awesome. After all he's said about never submitting to anal sex, he predictably wouldn't enjoy it, so the video would be more a "now you see what it feels like" situation, rather than a great porn shoot--which the other two guys would probably provide.

(David, it's not Tank Shane, right? It's Porn Shane?)

I "ass-umed" it was porn Shane. How hot would that be?!!!

"Tank" Shane would be nearly as hot! Tank Shane bottoming for Gigantor, would certainly be an eye opener for Shane!

A part of me wondered if David and Diesal simply couldn't remember Jimmy's stage name, and JIMMY is his fella at home?

Ok, probably not, but one can dream! :w00t:

PS:
It's Porn Shane for sure. He probably did College Boy Physicals with Sean on the same trip as fucking Ricky and being fucked by Diesal.

You can just imagine Diesal hanging around the doctor set while the shoot was going down and trying out the fetish equipment off cam. And saying then that he'd like to do a scene with it. And coincidentally was remembering how cool Sean was while watching the action, and mentioned him as his fave co-model in the interview. For those interested in reconstructing time frames, this one seems pretty clear to me.

I noticed Dave's interrupting Diesal too, as tampa did. Getting the most out of a subject in an interview like this is very different from what David does so well with the guys during a futon shoot.

Talking over your guy is something the aggressive talking head gurus do in a political interview when they're dealing with someone they don't agree with. But in this situation you don't want to debate your man, you want to bait him a bit just to get him talking. Once he gets on a roll you want to go shtum, and only speak up when he dries up, just the 3 words that will get him going again. You can have your agenda, but the interview will only be interesting if you let the subject answer the questions.

I've got used to the badinage at futon time and get a kick out of it. In the Tyler and Diesal interviews I wanted David to use skills he obviously doesn't have yet. He's young though, he'll learn.

It would also help in future if both Dave and the Straightie spoke to the boom, with the mic on the cam switched off.

Definitely, I thought the same. I also thought that maybe he didn't go any farther into it because of the smallness of the town.

Did you ever stop to think that the reason the interviews are always so guarded on television is that the interviewer is pushing so hard the interviewee is waiting to be skewered? We're never going to get that here because these guys trust David implicitly and he's never going to embarrass them or endanger them. That's why they're so wonderfully relaxed and human. The only thing Diesal did was dispel a few rumors and crush a few of our fantasies. It's okay if he didn't have a passionate offstage affair with Jimmy. Maybe the only place that existed was in our imaginations. Tarzan had a new Jane in almost every movie, but, oh my, did I want to park my elephant in that double garage.

Yeah. I love David alot. So I hope he won't take offense when I say that he did way too much talking in this one. And talked over Diesal too much. I know he wanted to get across the point of how much Diesal had matured physically, sexually and from a maturity level standpoint.

And too much of those precious 7 minutes were wasted on a question like whether he would want to work for other studios. Not something we members really want to hear him talk about at length. When there are so many other subjects that we would be anxious to hear from him about. But to be a real good interviewer in a non porn scene format, and assuming that you have an interesting subject who has a personality and a brain... then the interviewee should do about 80-90% of the talking. Without too much interruption. Even more reason though why some of these interview subjects should be given more than 5 1/2 -7 minutes to cover so much ground.

David won't mind at all. He's not self-important the way you and I and some other forumites are; he's dear and humble, and happy with his success, but not know-it-all. As you say, he may have been cueing Diesal to affirm his loyalty to Broke Straight Boys (which he finally did once he knew what Dave was getting at).

He may have pussyfooted a bit awkwardly around the fact that Diesal's now gay, wasting a whole lot of time tortuously getting to the fact that yes, he has one special guy back in the little town where he lives. That was such a beautiful moment. Diesal is such a beautiful guy in every way. David too. He just tawks too much awready.:001_rolleyes::001_rolleyes:

Agree completely with Tampa & Slim, too much David , not enough Diesal, write questions on paper, shorts and to the point and let the guy answer ...still enjoyed the 3 minutes out of 7 of this special guy, and please don't let him go to another studio, we could loose him...:crying:

Cheers
Mat

First off I cant tell you how much I enjoy the new Behind the Scenes section as it really makes a person feel more attached to the web site. I was also very excited to see that Diesal would be the next installment to the line up. It was very interesting and surprising to hear some of his answers and I was especially surprised how talkative he seemed to be considering how quite he normally is in front of the camera. His comments also echoed the praise we continually hear regarding how well the models are treated by D&E productions which for me anyway is a very good feeling. I also don't doubt his sincerity on that for a second. I truly do believe that D&E and Blu Media have the best thing going right now. With that said I also noticed that several people have spoke about David's interviewing skills. David with all due respect and I hope you will please consider this as constructive criticism I have to agree with them some what that you do need a bit of practice in the interviewer role. But that's ok it is not what you normally have to do and your current style of doing a lot of talking simply is more evidence to why we love you in the first place. However in this new interviewer type role the main purpose is to extract the most information from the subject being interviewed. If you review the tape I think you will find you repeat your self a lot as if you were in a casual conversation. In the case of an interviewer you need to use as few a words as possible to get the question across. I suggest maybe trying to write all of your questions down in a manor that you can just simply read them off. This also allows you to go over the list with the subject before hand to allow them a few moments to formalize an answer so you don't catch them off guard. It also prevents inadvertently asking a question that maybe you don't want to ask yet. A good thing to do would be to make a few practice runs interviewing Eddy or Tyler and then watch the tape back to prefect your skills. I sincerely hope this helps you David and that I have not offended you. You're a master at the things you do and I have no doubt that you will soon master this talent as well.

Hey guys...chill out on the interview and behind the scene footage. This is something new that we are doing and Diesal was one of the first boys I interviewed so I had to get into my groove. I was a bit nervous doing something new and out of my normal everyday filming so cut me some slack. I'm not insulted.

Now also some of the comments as Diesal being gay...I think at this point Diesal is bisexual. When he first arrived as a model, he has never done anything with a guy but he as broken out of his shell and out of all the models, he as really come a long way.

Off camera, he loves electro and he really gets along with Sean aka Dr. Toppinbotom so they both want me to film them for College Boy Physicals so I'm thinking of putting them together.

As for future shoots and who Diesal will be topping and bottoming and such....keep watching Broke Straight Boys :)

Hi Denny Bear. As you are making suggestions to improve David's interviewing skills, I thought I might offer a constructive criticism to some of your posts.

While I'm usually very interested in reading your often thought provoking comments, you do sometimes, (as in today's above post) write in long paragraphs with no breaks between sentences. I find it very difficult to read such long paragraphs.

I can recall in the past, having to paste your paragraph and split it up myself to be able to read it. However other times, I have just skipped over your posts, as it was too much trouble to read. I don't know if anyone else has this problem, but I just wanted to offer what I hope is taken as constructive criticism. Thanks for reading this, and all the best to you in this holiday season.

Enjoyed this interview and all the others. I now suspect Scorpio's poll was to guide him in what order to post interview's in the can so to speak. So let's give Dave a pass on the next three interviews and then after that if we can distinguish him from Barbara Walters attack.

On Diesal a couple of points. One the College Boy Physicals set is the makeup room. Two I noticed the change in Diesal from a sullen ambiance to a serene and happy one. Mozel Tov.

Hooray!

Dave, you're just saying the same thing we are saying. We're all on the same page about interview techniques. And we're chilled, as you can see from reading our posts. And you can tell we love you. You just have to conduct these BTS interviews in a different way, that's all we're saying. After the ones you've already shot are aired, give the the boys the mic and just nudge them along every now and then.

Now regarding Diesal's sexuality, I remember months ago that you sprung the news on the forum that you thought Diesal had "gone over to the other side", so this isn't anything new. It was such big news then though, given his Broke Straight Boys Straightie persona. I think one of the things you were trying to say in his interview is that he is a Broke Straight Boys success story. He's grown as a person and has broadened his sexual options, he's taken a page from your book and developed his own work ethic. He's become comfortable in his own skin. You can be really proud.

After seeing this interview Diesal is someone I'd like to know. Not just in the sexual sense cuz that would likely never happen. He has a charm about him that makes me think he would hella fun to hang out with. He's a mans, man even if he gets some guy action on his own time. I think he is hot as hell and his smile makes me melt.
