Devon Felix

I really can't agree with the "contract is a contract" certainty about all this. We all made a contract when we joined this site - how many of us read any of the terms of agreement? We don't know if Devon really understood his contract - I doubt he is a lawyer or took legal advice on it.

As I understand it, what we are being asked is not whether they should hold him to a contract, but whether we, as fans, still care about whether Broke Straight Boys models are exclusive.

Personally I don't. Actually I find it interesting to see the Broke Straight Boys models in other situations and sites.

So I'd keep Devon on, who seems basically a good guy, and sure knows how to fuck.

Hope that helps.

This entire thread has dwelt with contracts, etc. I'll throw in another twist to this discussion.

We have broke "straight" boys who come on to this site to do gay-for-pay porn. Then you go to some of their twitter accounts and see they are available for private "escort" services. This is quoted from one of our recent new model's twitter accounts,

"dm ... for availability and bookings."

And most claim that this is "their first time" with a guy, but I've seen loads of them on other gay porn sites -- some in videos produced prior to their coming here and others afterward. One Broke Straight Boys guy I just saw this week on another site, also claiming he'd never had sex with a man before, that was going to be his first time, blah, blah, blah, but he'd been here for over six months at that point already. I mean, I understand a big part of this and similar sites is the whole "straight boy's first time with another boy" fantasy. So I guess it is what it is, but it does bug me to some degree.

And yes, it is about contracts. Whether the signing party reads and understands a contract or not, if you sign it you have legally committed yourself to the terms expressed within. If you go before a judge and say "well, I didn't read it," or "I didn't understand it," the judge is going to say "tough" and the issuing party is going to prevail. So the bigger issue ends up being does management hold a model to his contract for breaking the terms, or do they say just forget it and do nothing? In the later case doing nothing sets the legal precedent that the company does not uphold its contracts, therefore any possibly future actions they take against contract-breakers will be colored by their failure to uphold their own legal documents in this other particular case. And if that's the case then why bother with contract at all in the first place? You either issue and follow them or you don't bother. You cannot have it both ways -- we'll hold some guys to it but others -- especially if they are popular -- we'll look the other way. Nope. Very unprofessional and very bad business.

Being a member for about three years it has always gone on.We always new most of the boys were gay. But it never really bugged me till recently.
I am not sure when it happened? Maybe 7 months or so. Things changed. I don't care enough
about the boys like I once did. To feel I am being made a fool of. They talk all this bullshit and we find out they are gay anyway and fucking on other sites.
I don't care if there gay if there fun to watch. I just don't find many fun any more. Or at least I don't care about them anymore.
There are a few Tannar he is pretty low key Zander Floyd, Gage Owens,Zeno Kostas and the new kid Brandon. Otherwise a contract is a contract.
I'd let them all go starting with Devon and Vadim Black and start all over again and try and make Broke Straight Boys what it once was. A fun place to be.I don't even know if I posted in the right place. So hate me.

I completely understand. I was a member for a few years and then quit because I just didn't like the models anymore, either. In fact at one point I honestly couldn't tell them apart! I recently re-joined and have been happy and satisfied so far. But in all honesty, I miss the old days of a couple guys on the futon, before the fancy sets and the BTS and the more complicated filming. Yes, that old director annoyingly babbled on and on way too much, but there was always a tension -- an electricity -- to the scenes. The guys truly seemed nervous and awkward and I believed that it was the "first time" for most of them. Even the repeat, regular guys usually maintained that spark and held my interest. That was also in the days before the "superstars" like we have now where certain models get a lot of attention from fans. In those earlier days everyone seemed to be treated equally, from the new guys to the repeat performers. I sometimes get the feeling now that certain models have the power to hold the company and/or membership hostage -- they know they are popular with the fans so they feel they can get away with whatever they want. And I don't mean all of them by any means. But I remember one or two who were ultra-popular and ended up acting like spoiled brats, bitching about their ratings and about someone leaving and then coming back, etc. like they deserved special treatment or consideration because they were among the more popular models. And frankly I get the same vibe off Vadim Black. I think he's ultra hot and a talented performer, but I also get the feeling with some of his antics -- leaving and coming back and then leaving again, some of the more general things he said in that stupid MTV show, his Twitter rants, etc., that he feels he deserves special treatment. I don't know him and he might be a perfectly lovely young man, and I have no ill feelings toward him nor do I wish him bad, but he does seem to have a chip on his shoulder. You know, so if he and Devon never return to Broke Straight Boys then I wish them both the best, but I don't think either should be given any special consideration or treatment just because they are popular here.

Exactly how I feel about the golden age of BSB1 (except for saying that David annoyingly babbled way too much. lol). But otherwise your observations are spot on to my way of thinking. :thumbup1:

sorry but it's irrelevant what a judge would say about this, unless Broke Straight Boys plans to sue Devon. If that was their plan, they wouldn't be asking us here for advice.

The reason they're asking us for advice, I think, is because they want to know how much we care whether someone is on another site. I've given my view on that as have others.

And I've also given my opinion, which is as valid as yours or anyone else, so we'll just have to agree to disagree then.

I've never even heard of "PapiThugz" but the site name alone tells me all I need to know!

I just found him on gayroom.com. His scene was released there on January 9. I just saw the promo, but he really looked good there. He sucked cock, got fucked and ate cum. I always thought he had a thing for eating cum, but was afraid to indulge. Too bad that we couldn't keep him here.
