What matters is that Austin, Shane, Diesal, Mikey, Preston, Jordan, Leon, and even Tyler are gone now - for good - along with the futon. They are not coming back. When that last remnant of a scene is posted soon - we will have seen the last of them on Broke Straight Boys Haven't you noticed, they've even posted all the back recordings for BTS? There's no way to predict the new package, but it was the old package that brought you here.

They've essentially come up to the plate and manned up, even if not as overtly as we're used to. I can understand that they don't want to stir up a whole haunted house full of wasps nests just while they're in transition.

I got used to the fact that both Blu and D&E have had mixed feelings about the forum for more than a year anyway, at about the point at which casper went ballistic. For different reasons they've almost regretted getting themselves into it in the first place. If in these final few months David, who is probably moving on to other stuff, and Mark, who is still getting his ducks in a row for the new regime, don't say too much about what's going on, it's possibly because they aren't sure yet and are concentrating on that other stuff rather than on us.

You're friends with David. He'd probably tell you what's up if he hasn't already. Mark knows what a lot of David-love there is among the forumites, and wants to think about the right way to phrase it before making a statement. David will still be making porn when this is over, and Mark will too. I'm now keen to see what kind it will be in each case.

My gift from him was a beautiful portrait of him with a date which hangs along my hallway with my other children. We talk quite often. That was the basic concept that brought me here, and will keep me here when the "New" Broke Straight Boys surface, if Mark does go back to the tried and true concept.

I too was hooked on Broke Straight Boys by good looking, masculine guys with straight boy attitude, (not gay bashing thugs, but straight guys open to experimentation for money, but not ready for an extra $100 to make out with a guy, or throw his legs up in the air, at the drop of a hat, or an extra $200).

So I'm waitin' and seein' and wishin' and hopin' (to quote Dusty Springfield) that STRAIGHT will be back as being the most important ingredient in the scenarios. There are literally hundreds of web sites out there featuring handsome, buff, big dicked, shaved down guy's who will suck and fuck and kiss, and do every gay act imaginable, but the concept here is for reluctant STRAIGHT boys to experiment with their sexuality.

Mark has told us there will be an all new cast of characters, so fear not that Cousin Mikey, or Leon, or any of David's futon boys will return. This will be a new frontier, and there will be a new sheriff in town, The results remain to be seen. Stay tuned, (or not, as some guys are jumping ship now). I intend to wait it out, and hope for the best.

Good questions, Vicekid. Full disclosure would be appreciated, but notice that nothing that Rifle, or Slim or I have said has been denied either. So unless categorically declined, I would have to assume that the truth is leaking out slowly.

I'm going to wait out the changes to see if Mark goes back to the classic product featuring the type of straight late teens, (over 18 of course), and early twenties type guys, like the type one sees at the mall, on the beach, or on the basketball courts, young testosterone filled guys proud of their toned bodies and emerging sexuality, willing to share their young beauty with an appreciative mostly male audience, if the "price is right".

It's been a few months now since a thread turned angry and you know what happened then - the management said they would stop posting and they did. David has quietly come back to the forum but chooses his threads carefully. Guess D&E and Blu have business reasons for not disclosing any information however, you guys seem to have ASSUMED that something is going on.

As long as I still get the same package with Broke Straight Boys that I am present, then I am happy. I cannot afford to join any more sites that Mark is procuring so I will not be joining.

I completely agree with you 100% Vicekid. And I hope that no one thinks that I blame David and D&E Productions for the scenes with Mike, Leon, and Braden that I've gotten so sick of. I completely realize that they were merely filming scenes with these guys because that's what not only the members, but also Broke Straight Boys management wanted them to do. What you said is absolutely right Vicekid, of course they can only film these guys when they're there. It would be nice if the scenes were released in a more logical order.

I realize most people want them released in order, but not necessarily in the exact order in which they were filmed! It would make more sense to release scenes that have Mike Robbins/Leon/Braden in them a little more spread out so people who are sick of these guys (like myself) don't get so annoyed.

If they'd put some room in between their scene releases, it wouldn't be nearly as annoying or noticeable. But David/D&E has nothing to do with the order in which scenes are released, from what I understand Vicekid, Mark is the one who does that...correct?

I think you may be missing my point. I don't believe I am defending Broke Straight Boys If I was I, doubt I would have been so harsh on them to come up and tells us what the reality will be. I do agree with you, that we have been told in bits and pieces what is happening. But all we have are pieces to a puzzle. We don't know what the picture will look like. For over 5 years we have grown to love (or hate) what we have seen as the format for Broke Straight Boys Is there anything wrong with informing the membership what the new(?) direction is and what relationship it will have (if any) to the Past?

I understand this is a business and Blu Media owns it and has the right to change and alter it as it deems. Business is business. I always believe if you're making change you let those that use it know about it so you can have a smooth transition from old to new. The more that is know about the transition not only is it easier to accept, but makes it easier to keep your base. To come in one day and see everything different with no preparation can be a shock that could be more harmful than beneficial.

I understand how devastated you are, especially regarding Tyler. That portrait you did of him that hangs in his office was breathtaking. I have not had the pleasure of either meeting nor talking to Tyler. I did send him a couple of e-mails during the Casper caper and as a follow-up to the B-day gift I sent him last month. From those few communications I can tell that Tyler is one sharp young man who will go far in whatever direction he chooses to go. He will be missed.

Mikeyank, there are no changes yet. The site is the same as it has been for years. I don't think Mark needs to make any more statements for now than those he's already made: that he's going to be doing the filming, that he's recruiting all new talent and that he thinks the site is going to be better as a result. He's said all that at different times.

I am not sure what is going on. Like Vicekid says, it is a business. Business is business and they have a right to change and evolve. Many businesses do SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis of their business as a whole and make changes to keep their customers coming back and to grow their customer base too. I guess we will find out when we find out. I love the whole crew here so any major change will be hard to get used too. Like life change is part of our evolution even though it seems rough at first but more times than not change tends to be better for everyone involved. Then of course, there are those times when making the wrong change will drive away customers. It seems like we will find out soon enough. So, I will live in the moment. Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift that is why we call it the present. There is no sense in worrying about what is yet to come. There will be plenty of time for that when it comes...
