When I said "old" models with the "new" all in the same sentence - the CONTEXT of "old" is quite clear in meaning amount of time as a model on the site...not age. I wold love to be able to interact a little with the members, understand their wants and needs without always seeming to say the wrong thing or it being misinterpreted. When I first started with
Broke Straight Boys I had to endure reading post after post about my termination, people literally wishing my death driving off a cliff...etc. it can get quite brutal on the forum...I hope we can all find a way to respect each others varying opinions and thoughts. As far as you continuing to post Sir Egg...I say absolutely!! Speak your mind, even if there isn't a single person that agrees with you, your opinions are yours...and matter. I would, however, try to steer clear of personal attacks - as I'm sure you'd appreciate yourself....I think we have some very PASSIONATE and creative minded people on the forums...which I see nothing wrong with. Hi, JohnnyBlu. I knew what you meant vis-vis "old" and "new". I mentioned this to you because I used an analogy is seemed some did not get. I lost an endeared online forum friend over this misinterpretation, which grieves me, as I feel as if I hurt his feelings to the point of victimizing him, which I would never intentionally do to anyone. How I would love to re-establish our friendship, but as with the severance, that is upon him. I made the offer, I apologized. I can do no more.
When I first started producing/directing, I heard many an insult from models themselves: "Why could you not get me at this angle?" "I look better with a close-up." "Why did you not pan to my profile when I expected you to?" "What were you doing, shoving the camera up your arse before you decided to film?" "Why do you not go suck a donkey's willy; perhaps he will kick you in the head so you can get it right next time." From what you stated, you are most familiar with these, and I would wager that while they may have tapered off to a vast degree, they have not completely ceased. I know I still get them, and often from people in the forum.
JohnnyBlu, I am not the nicest person in the world. I am easily insulted, and when I even remotely suspect I am attacked, I immediately go into defense/retaliation mode. I have attempted to be cordial on here, and more often than not, forumites such as MikeYank, Louis, and Betu have to talk me down.
I do not seek friendships on here; to do so would be an attempt at utter inanity. I do, however, want to get along as best I can, but I do not perceive things the same ways as most do, nor am I lured into ogling and lusting after a model, then take my sexual frustrations to bed with me, only to wake up with solution in hand. I am not saying everyone else does this; I merely state I cannot and shall not. I speak my mind, which quite regularly gets me into boiling water with many a forumite. I do not agree with them, and that, too, seems to rile some. And yes, I am quite opinionated, which I believe helps me when I film; it adds to my seeking perfection as best as I can get it from every model in every shoot.
Well, as you can see, I am quite verbose, but I do not stop simply because someone wants me to. I do not deny anyone their opinion or their right to express it, and I will be damned if I am going to allow anyone to deny me mine.
