I'd just like to say that the scenes over the last month have improved dramatically. I would like to congratulate the whole of the Broke Straight Boys team and the models for some great recent episodes.

We're all too often in criticise mode on this forum, so I thought I would just say thanks.

Indeed you do, as do I. Just thought it was nice to give praise too. It's obvious that not many people agree so maybe it's a British thing.

I think praise makes a better bedfellow than bitch ;) However, there's a place here for both. My philosophy is, tho, phrase the negative in a positive way. You catch more flies with honey....

Lovelumps, I agree with you in expressing the negative in a positive way. I just want to add food for thought to your premise: most of the time constructive positive criticism is neither constructive nor positive it is just heady on behalf of the poster who wants to make points in some mental game he or she is playing. Just saying...

Jon, thanks for adding this thread as I too wish to say thanks to all at Broke Straight Boys I look forward to more of the same in the months to come.

Don't we have the right to bitch about the content? We pay our $$$ every month.

Thank you guys. We definitely need some praise since we are all working on asses off and hearing negative all the time is tough. We have really come a long way in a short period of time. I have an amazing crew that loves this site. Thank you!
Mark, I think it is good when customers are satisfied with the product, that they offer praise, but I also sure agree with Morgey that we certainly have the right to bitch about the content, if that is how we feel, as we do pay our $$$ every month.

I am not a happy camper right now with Broke Straight Boys, as the site is shifting to a change in focus, where it is becoming much like the sleek other sites on the market, featuring handsome, fit young guys who seemingly are going at it with passion, and abandon as they make love to their partners.

That is not what I signed up for here too. But I have the freedom of choice to spend my porn dollars where I choose, and if it reaches a point where I am not getting what I am paying for, I will join in with the others who no longer belong to this site. I am not really close to that point yet, as I enjoy participating on the forum too much, but if the amount of scenes that turn me on, continue to dwindle, I may have to reevaluate how I spend my money in the near future.

Kudos to Broke Straight Boys - great job, Mark - keep the grfeat looking guys suming, and let them make love to their partners ... Paul adIan are great and I ca bhardly wait for Paul and ayden ....there's enough NEGATIVITY out there,we need NOT more. Unfortunately, too many people get up every morning and all they want to do is bitch, bitch, bitch. Whatever happened to CONSTRUCTIVE criticism???? Mark and the vrew hit a home run with Paul & ian - imagine how these models felel when they read negative junk. WE are the ones wo drive models away. So let's STOP doing this. "..... go at it with passion, and make love to your partners" guys. I don't know what you signed up for. Maikey Yank, But if you're not finding it here -move on! Mark & Clay - thank you!

I see that you signed up in April 2013, Rick2206. Have you ever looked back through the archives of BSB1? I signed up for David, and Tyler, Dustin, Danny, Austin, Mike R, Logan, Shane, and so many more. I joined here because the site was supposed to be about Broke Straight Boys? Why did you sign up Rick2206?

And if this forum ever becomes 100% kiss ass posts to models and management, that will be the day that you get your wish, and I do "move on!".

Good For You Jon For Starting This Thread

I do not think it is a "British Thing" Jon; but, it is a smart thing. If you really like the potential of what Broke Straight Boys can be -- one needs to not only acknowledge the failings (and there will always be some); but also the successes. The past few scenes have been regularly achieving a quality that is something special.

Keep it up Broke Straight Boys and add to the body of work which makes Broke Straight Boys special and unique.

Producing high quality erotica like Broke Straight Boys is not an easy task.

Raining Lemons

Mark, I think it is good when customers are satisfied with the product, that they offer praise, but I also sure agree with Morgey that we certainly have the right to bitch about the content, if that is how we feel, as we do pay our $$$ every month.

The thing you have to remember is that there are some personality types where nothing is ever good enough and they delight in raining on every parade. Some go to amateur performances (music, theater, etc.) not to celebrate new talent and find something new; but, to ridicule those who will never be a top performer. It is sort of like the Romans going to the Colosseum to watch the Christians being fed to the lions or prisoners executed. There has also been a bit of that over the last year which is such a downer on this forum for me.

Honest criticism should always be welcome. Making fun of the performances simply because it fits a personal agenda - not so much.

I do believe Mike that you do see a shift in focus. I see it more about implementing professional standards to make the content more consistently pleasing to the audience of Broke Straight Boys Keeping the site believable is important along with all the other improvements. Much of it remains in finding models that fit the premise of the site and sustain the illusion of a Broke Straight Boys expanding his horizons.

I've been reading the forum posts and thought I would just express my thanks to you guys at Broke Straight Boys for your continued efforts in bringing ME the kind of adult entertainment that I enjoy. Even though my join date says Feb 2013, I actually joined this site long ago. I let my subscription expire because I reviewed everything I thought it had to offer. I came back when I realized the updates were more frequent, the bonus sites (free peeks) and eventually I discovered the Forum! I have viewed the older episodes, took a liking to various models , saw models come and go. Along with other changes and enhancements. I still find this to be the best site for me. People are entitled to their opinions obviously but, they should also keep in mind they also have the choice to join another site if they don't like what they are getting for their money. And should do so quietly sometimes. Thanks Broke Straight Boys staff, models and all that make this a great site for ME.

Gents, with all due respect but this thread was started as a vote of thanks to the Broke Straight Boys team. There are enough other threads including a bitching thread to complain and argue over. Just saying...

I've been a Broke Straight Boys member off and on for years. I just recently returned from a short hiatus for the same reasons expressed by betudidntknow. I admit that I really don't give a flying flock about who's gay and who's straight. It isn't important to me. The who is and who isn't is more than obvious watching the boys in action. I understand the frustration by the purest. They pay to see straight guys fucking. So that means no riming, no kissing, bad blowjobs and bitterly painful buttsex. Does a purest think that a straight guy would really jack off to ejaculation while getting his butt pounded? Especially the first time? I don't get that.

What I like about Broke Straight Boys is that there is no B.S. They (meaning neither the models or the crew) don't try to hide from the fact that the reason they are all in the studio is to watch naked guys do naughty things. They don't try to set up any premise, like "Need some help with that homework?" Or "Aren't you, as the house-boy, supposed to be cleaning my room?" They don't try to put a phony story behind why this guy or these guys are doing what they are doing. They are fucking because we want to see them fuck. Now that is hot to me. Move away from Broke Straight Boys or College Dudes and that is more rare than it should be. Sure there are others that I will not mention, but for me, Broke Straight Boys is the best in that category. And one reason why I think they are the best is because of the models. They are not all perfect. They are regular (but mostly nice looking) guys most of who don't have a chance of being selected by some of the other sites that do this. Those "Ken doll" models get old fast. Again, I understand the frustration of the purest. But I gave up on that a long time ago. As long as these guys will get naked and do naughty things, I'm pretty much a Broke Straight Boys lifer.

That's just the opinion of one guy and I know others will say that they are not living up to the name of Broke Straight Boys, but for me, it works. And it works WELL!

Great job guys, both behind and in front of the camera!

And BTW, thanks for starting the thread Jon. Sorry some tried to hijack it.

I thought it was a well deserved thanks Jon shocking but very sweet lol. I do like many love this site and if I'm not happy with current updates there are plenty of bonus sites and back scenes to go to and of course the forum. Good job Mark and "the boys". Happy customer Peter

In response to a question from "mikeyyank"....

I signed up because I am attracted to Hot, Fit, Great Looking,Men enjoyiong themselves while having sex with another man - it doesn't matter to me whether they are straight, gay, bi, blue or green - just that they are really into another - the kissing, the passion, the hot rimming, the cum=eating, etc are all part of that - and I look to see if they are truly into one another. That's why I thoroughly enjoyed Paul and Ian, and can hardly wait for Paul and ayden . I think that Paul has found himself - and is thoroughly happy with it. Years ago, I used to watch the o0ld Broke Straight Boys with Logan and many of the others and I know that some of them said they were "straight" because of prevailing images of identifying as "gay" - sorry, you don't kiss and rim another man so passionately withouht eventually falling for them. Many of them would never "do" what they do un less they had that "protective" umbrella of IDing as "straight We've had to lie too long about who w are!

Here's my perspective as a total newbie:

I got here via Xtube, where they have are many old clips available for free (I guess it's an ad campaign).
So we watched a bunch of old clips, then skipped along to the current ones. I admit to being quite pissed off at first, as the current episodes are dramatically different from the ones I'd seen and was expecting.
I can see why some people might be displeased. From what I can tell, the content has definitely shifted direction, and quite abruptly at that.

(GRRR) However I've realized that I actually like this (Broke Straight Boys 3.0??) much much better. I think that Mark & co. have done an amazing job here, and that he's on to something very interesting. I might be the odd man out, as I find the interaction between the models and crew to be just as entertaing as the hardcore porn stuff. I assume that's not the case for some members? Fair enough, some may not give a hoot about Damien Kyle's BTS photo shoot, or Jason getting pranked.
ps. I LOVE Sabrina, does she post here? <33a

What I've always loved about Broke Straight Boys is the breaking of the third (or is it the fourth) wall so that I am drawn into the scene and am on the spot as the action unfolds. Then the Forum gets me even closer in and I get to see how others were pulled in (or not).

And now if I want, I can even chat with some of the models themselves or watch them behind the scenes. Gay or straight or metasexual it doesn't matter to me. Hot is hot. I have a lot of respect for the purists (hi Mikeyank). I called for kissing a long time ago and I'm sure many regret the direction the site has taken. But to me it's all good. It would be interesting to poll this questions:

Does the Paul/Ian scene represent a crowning achievement for Broke Straight Boys, or an unfortunate drifting away from the original premise ?
