What I would say about the Biebs is:
1)Yes, he's straight.
2)Yes, he's super-cute, and sexy.
3)No, I don't think he is REALLY, in his heart of hearts, a jerk!
Friends of mine who have known and worked with the Biebs told me, when they met him and worked with him - - - that he was sweet, kind, and gentle. TRULY. Lately, he has been in a WILD and REBELLIOUS phase. . . and I hope he gets over it. Sincerely.
If you have read up on his background, you'll know his life has not been easy. His Mom had SIGNIFICANT problems with addiction and depression when she was young, but overcame them, for JB. His Dad is a total waster and loser, and just a bad influence in every POSSIBLE direction.
And then, JB ended up being super-famous, and incredibly wealthy, as a young teen and 20-year-old. (I read he made $64 million, a couple of years ago.) His goal has always been to be the kind of pop idol Michael Jackson was. . .I don't think he'll make it that far, because MJ was (while being SUPER screwed-up) ALSO one of the most talented singers and dancers who ever LIVED. (I don't think JB is quite in THAT league.)
But, Mike, I ALSO hope that JB doesn't end up on the casualty list, like MJ did. Yes, JB is WICKED HOT, but - - - I hope he is able to get it together, and have a good and decent and HAPPY life. . . just like we are all hoping for, I guess. Because, teen idol or whatever - - - at the end of the day, JB's just a human being, who feels pain and sorrow and love and confusion, and hope and care and ecstasy: just like all the rest of us.
We all start out innocent, and loving, and hopeful. It is only bad experiences, and bad people, who spoil those things. And it is only strong and steadfast family and friends who BRING US BACK, and bring us HOME, to be the kind and good people we were meant to be. I hope this happens, for Justin Bieber.
