BTS - Outakes - Getting to know the boys

This may be a little off topic. But this tread has gone in so many ways. I was looking at the highest rated models.
And I sure wish PAUL would do a scene.
So he can get back up in to the top five where he should be. Just saying.

faith and strength make the king. to be king you must pull the sword from the stone. playing with this metaphor, paul could be the one.
many will come, few will be chosen. none of the models on page 1 ask to be put there. go paul!
wish Ronan Kennedy well!

I have the same instinctual feeling that the "good doctor" may not be exactly who he says he is, as he has a definite agenda, although I'm not quite sure what he is up to. Come to think of it, we had another forumite with an anti-Paul agenda a few months ago. hmmmmm................

But I have to admit that I can enjoy a good mystery, and being the yenta I am, this could get interesting, "as the forum turns". :sneaky2:
I'm not anti-Paul at all. I actually enjoyed his videos as a performer. I just said that many members have been duped by him and are afraid to say anything about it on here and its sad. they wont speak up.
1.) This is not Harvard, and this is not IBM: it is Broke Straight Boys that's the truth if i ever heard it. its porn and it shouldnt be the main focus of your life. you've all had a lot to say but know very little about the real world of practicing medicine. quoting some obscure textbook would do nothing for you during an actual medical crisis. the more you attack my actions and try to figure out if im really who i say i am is wasted energy while we could be discussing real topics. If i do have an agenda, its to change the paranoia and discouraging comments made on here so that more members feel welcome joining the forums. Long tirades and questions about my validity just prove my point even more. its an unsafe environment for members and models alike. even the staff have been eerily quiet even when asked direct questions. we have barely heard a peep from any of them.

The only thing paul pulled out of the stone was members hard earned money when they posted a thread asking for money so that they could go on vacation or for enticing members to start threads to make themselves look good. many members gave and they got nothing in return. Kings may be judges of the earth, but wise men are the judges of kings.

I guess, I'm not afraid to say "I acknowledge" what you are trying to say in your comments Miami24. This is not to imply that I "Agree" or "Disagree" with them only that I accept what you are saying as "you calling it as you see it". This forum is a place where members are encouraged to;"Post anything here about our sites including comments and suggestions for Broke Straight Boys, College Dudes, College Boy Physicals Boy Gusher, HSBoys and any of our other sites." As well as; "This is the place for general discussion only and not site related. Have Fun!", specifically the General Chat side.

While it is typical that the discussions usually take on the praise and appreciation of models, scenes...etc, it also gives members an opportunity to speak about REAL things, based on our observations or information that we have gained through those discussions about the site and the models. No one (I don't think) likes to read or hear anything which would be considered disparaging comments about models or other members.

What we have been getting lately (thanks to D.C), are snippets of the upcoming Broke Straight Boys-TV show. We've been for warned that, the show will shed light on the REALITY of: the models and their relationships with staff and each other as it relates to Broke Straight Boys I think that we've been given the opportunity through the BTS, to see the more positive side of the models, making them more "relatable as people" as well as promoting them as models we enjoy in the scenes.

I am guessing that, the show itself, is going to show us sides of the models that we may not have realized through the BTS or scenes that will (most likely) make many like models better, or in some cases, it may have the opposite affect.

So, I acknowledge that, the REALITY of which you speak, based on what you have gained through; social media, twitter, facebook and even the postings from the models themselves on the forum, is fair game. Again, this is not an agree or disagree statement.

I completely get what you are saying. from what i see in the trailer it is all drama and we will finally get to see who the perpetrators of such drama really are. i hope some of my favorites dont dissapoint me but again its porn. if i dont like what a model is saying i just turn the sound down or fastforward through it.

On another note--seems like there is a new sheriff in town and since DC has stated he is mixed race, I dont think it is him. https://twitter.com/CoolTomPix/status/517092758952345600

I went back and watched this BTS again. I find it kind of funny Ian's statement about his scene with Damien. "I didn't feel it, seemed like it went on and on and I couldn't wait to get out of there". I went back and watched this scene again and in my opinion it is the best scene either one of them had ever done. There was finger fucking, toe sucking, rimming, reverse cowgirl (with legs off the bed) I mean this scene was hot as hell!!! So maybe thats the recipe for a extra hot scene, two guys that don't care for each other going at it with no limits. This was a 5 plus hands down....

Hey, Dr. M. ~ a couple of things, in response to your latest post:

*I'm glad you're not "anti-Paul", and I'm glad you have enjoyed his scenes.

*I do think your comments about Paul's transgressions are overstated (considerably, or totally): I said so, and that's where that issue ends, for me.

*I think you're absolutely right that Broke Straight Boys (or any other such site) shouldn't be the focus of anyone's life. However, in any human community (even an erotic-video site) friendships and loyalties (even passionate ones) will arise over the course of time - and this is not altogether a bad thing.

*I have been (and remain) quite happy to take your remarks (some of which have struck a chord, with me, and others which have seemed rather discordant, to my ear); and your account of yourself, at face-value. After all, people's self-disclosure (and candour) is all one has to go on, in a forum such as this. When people are truthful and good, on forums such as this: it sometimes leads to remarkable and lifelong friendships. When they are not - well, *meh* - it doesn't really matter, because one soon forgets them. My policy is to try to get to know people over time, and if it works, it works - if it doesn't, it doesn't. It's all good, as the kids say, these days.

*However, I think it is a little presumptuous (perhaps) to suggest (in general) that members here "know very little about the real world of practicing medicine." Dr. M., there are quite a few intelligent and reasonably well-educated people on this board, some of whom are ALSO physicians. Even some of us hapless lay-people have a few minor insights, into the practice of your profession.

Speaking just for myself - I wrote all of my best straight friend's applications for medical school, and almost OVERDOSED upon med-school syllabuses, in the process. (I also was on stand-by through all his rotations, and he would sometimes telephone me and cry, at 3:00 a.m., after a terminally-ill child had just died, on his watch.) My best gay friend is an older, accomplished, and very distinguished physician in Paris - and we often chat (telephonically) about the challenges of his work.

So, Dr. M. - not all of us are insensible of, or insensitive TO, either your academic achievements and professional expertise, or your special areas of insight. To suggest so is. . . I think. . . a rather impolite deprecation of some of your (hopefully!) future friends' intellectual scope and capacity. If I might be so bold.

*For my part, I have found the staff here rather pleasant, and helpful. (They have certainly taken quick and decisive action to clear up "streaming" issues for me, in the past.) But of course, when it comes to the internal workings of BluMedia, and specific issues regarding specific models - they can and will share only those things that they deem necessary and expedient, to share: much in the manner of any business, on earth. If you are expecting more - I think you might very well be wasting your energy!

*Finally, I should like to suggest that this forum, while not a perfect conclave of the angels, is YET a (reasonably) good place. Certainly, it is a place where models with various life-issues sometimes post provocative things, and sometimes make mistakes. It is also a place where members who have passionate feelings about the site, and the models, and all sorts of things, ALSO post provocative things, and ALSO sometimes make mistakes. But, by and large, I think it is a good and friendly place, with much kindness and caring in evidence - - - and that we are better-off having it, than not.

"A". XOXOXOXOXO

I know that I am prejudiced about this forum due to the length of time I've been here and for the obscene number of posts listed next to my username here, but quite honestly I do think of us as basically "good folks" who are generally welcoming to new members as we encourage differing or opposing points of view to be expressed. And I also think that we are mostly welcoming to the models who post here as well. Sometimes our honesty can be disarming to some of the models but I was quite surprised to read the "doctor's" general indictment of the forum and the general atmosphere here which I feel is welcoming and mostly pleasant.

well said. i wasnt putting anyone down but in my experience unless you have done it, the general public know little about the actual work that goes into be a doctor. there are many intelligent people on the forum and i have made friends with some of them. the staff is great and im actually pissed that damien christopher was practically run off the site which was unfair in my opinion. i private messaged him and i have yet to receive anything back. i did contact another site i belong to and asked them why they dont have forums. they pretty much told me that its bad for business and the models. im glad Broke Straight Boys decided to stick it out when other sites have done away with forums.

i do like that the models are speaking up that its hard for them to be a part of the forums and how they really feel. i feel some of these guys are too messed up to take the criticism they get and dont deserve. not everyone is prepared for the ills of being in the public eye. we all make mistakes and have to move past them. in my profession there is no room for mistakes so i sort of live my personal life in the same way. i made a mistake being a bit harsh when i first got here but it was out of concern and not to be malicious in any way.

Thanks for this, Dr. M. ~

*I am glad to take your letters here at face value, including information about who you are, and what you do - as others have done this for me, also, without knowing anything, REALLY, about me. In the end, someone's background and profession really doesn't matter to me except inasmuch as, as one gets to know and like people over a long span of time, a little bit of that sort of information adds depth and richness to one's appreciation of their stories. But the key is - intelligence and kindness, I think. That's what one desires in a good correspondent here, always.

*I am not familiar with the controversy surrounding Damian Christopher. I know that he is a gifted photographer, and a very articulate writer, and so - the little I have known about Damian, I have appreciated.

*There is no question that most erotic-video sites, these days, don't want the trouble of a "members' forum." I have belonged to a couple which have closed their forums down, precisely because it's too much work, and sometimes controversies arise. However, like you, I think this is unfortunate - because I think an active forum does add to people's experience of a common meeting-place - and can also offer the opportunity for meaningful discussions, and meaningful friendships.

*I appreciate your comments about models' participation. I am a longtime advocate (on this and every other site to which I've belonged) of treating models with kindness, courtesy, and indeed - a little extra tenderness, because, so many of our models have had difficult experiences in life; AND, because, they really DON'T have to be here.

*About your initial harshness - I appreciate your comments, in this regard. (Thank you; they were gracious.) With some regularity, I am quite harsh and acerbic, also - but not usually about the site or the models: more usually, if I perceive that someone I care about has been unjustly spoken about. (Though sometimes about intellectual or political matters, too.)

This, certainly, accounts for my reaction to certain criticisms of Paul (whom I think is a good guy, and a nice guy - besides being a stellar model.)

And, of course, I cannot stand for any harshness toward Johnny, from San Francisco - because he is the sweetheart of all time, and deserves to be loved, by everyone. I'm a Celt, and so, matters of sympathy, and loyalty, are inevitably quite simple, for me.

At any rate (all questions past, or hypothetical, aside): I greatly appreciated your letter.

Sincerely,
"A" XOXOXOXOXOXOXO

Doctor
If saying we were duped by Paul is not putting someone down . What is? Can you just explain how he duped us ? He can't defend himself.
He tryed and management won't let him. What did he do to anger you so?

a guy walks into the room, throws a stink bomb and says howdy. howdy, back! what's with the stink bomb? to hear that efforts to understand why a seemingly nice guy would enter a room and throw a stink bomb are pointless, is disheartening. however, I continue to wonder why you would words, like dangerous?

Hello Dr. M.,

Indeed. Some of our understandable skepticism is due to the manner of your entrance here. You arrived with the complaint conveyed from your roommate that the forum was full of negative and harsh people. I hoped from the beginning that your own posts would reflect the antithesis of the stereotype with which you were supposedly presented. As you indicate in your own words, you got off to a rough start. While we can't change the past, we can always strive to be better in the present and into the future.

You obviously know something of the key players of the site, apparently gleaned over time from in here, on social media and possibly other sources. I'm hoping and waiting for you to show us how you are going to be am example of sorts for a warmer and gentler forum. Kindness, empathy, compassion, mutual respect and even love are always welcome in here. Our world is always in need of more of the above.
