Hey,

This BTS was released on the 20th but still no thread - wtf. I don't normally take too much interest in bts but I was bored and decided to watch. It is obvious from this bts that most models and staff think the world of Paul Canon but also on the setup of Broke Straight Boys This was taken when Jake Tipton, Dimitri and Ronan Kennedy first appeared and had just done their solos and Jake and Dimitri had a lot to say but Ronan Kennedy only appeared at the very hard and he was away from the mic.

I was also shocked to hear that Ian doesn't take to Damien Kyle, but not at all surprised. But I do question one particular thing and that is why are models allowed to criticise others on camera and not on the forum. This could be seen as double standards..

I was surprised to hear Ian talking nasty about Damien Kyle. Maybe a little favoritism there ? Sure became a big deal when Damien Kyle did it.

Thanks Jon for the reminder. It was fascinating on many levels. First of all, listening to Jake and Dimitri being interviewed seemed hollow to me, knowing what I now know about both of them. Neither one was telling the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

The most controversial part has to be what Ian said about Damien Kyle What I find terribly interesting is that Damian Christopher asked the questions, and later edited the scene, so he gave us exactly what he wanted us to see. And it seems like a great storyline for a reality television show.

And indeed even though Paul only had a small part he sure was talked about a lot, in glowing terms. And Blake was a fine interviewer. He and Ian both communicate very well. Too bad there was so little of my cutie, Ronan Kennedy, but I enjoyed this BTS very much.

It's nice to watch the guys just relax. They are all so sexy; loved seeing Blake again, even in clothes!:001_wub:

I think there's a difference between what Ian and Damien did. Damien took personal details about another model and made it public information, in what I can only assume was an effort to color the members' opinion of said model. Ian just said Damien wasn't his favorite person because of the way he sometimes treats people. Also, the issue wasn't brought up by Ian himself; his comments/feelings toward Damien were prompted by DC. These are completely different situations IMHO.

Maybe Bobbity, but as Mike said, it's all to do with the show. We've also seen the guys argue in the TV clip that was released earlier, so I guess this is just mild compared to that.

I still think that members were a bit hard on Jake and as a model and porn performer he is great. Pity people cannot see through their holier than thou clouded visions and appreciate what he's good at - and that is performing in front of the camera.

Before Dimitri's coming out statement, he was a model that I liked. Again, I don't judge his honesty; he was just here to make some money. Think we have to realise that these guys were both economical with the truth but I bet if a lot of current and former Broke Straight Boys models were given a lie detector test and treated like Jake, there would hardly be any models left on the site..

I agree completely Bobbity. While I do appreciate Damien Kyle as a star of Broke Straight Boys, on film, in the social media promoting Broke Straight Boys, and here on the forum, I can also see how he is not always the easiest guy to get along with, as also witnessed on his BTS in Los Angeles and by the comments of a member of the forum who met him on more than one occasion.

And I do not think that Ian's comments were premeditated to rip into Damien Kyle, as Damian Christopher had asked the initial question and then followed up with asking again who his least favorite scene partner was. Ian seemed reluctant to answer but DC kept pushing and asking until Ian gave his honest answer. And as I said in my initial response on this thread DC also edited the final piece that we saw, so he had total control over what we watched on this BTS, unlike Damien Kyle's unfiltered comments on the forum while he and Paul were on their extended road trip.

If Broke Straight Boys management wanted to censor Ian's comments it could have easily been done in the editing room. I do believe it makes good controversy for the proposed TV show.

As I typed my honest feelings about watching Jake (and Dimitri), I did think about members, particularly you and Ambi who might react negatively to my comments again about Jake. But I was expressing my true honest feeling, that watching Jake comment over and over in this BTS and in others about his "first time" sucking dick, etc., it was very uncomfortable to watch, for as soon as he debuted here, other folks recognized him and told us of his extensive background in gay porn, including being fucked on film before he ever set foot in Colorado.

I cannot recall any other model who debuted here as a supposed straight boy who had actually done as much as he did elsewhere first, and Mark also told us that he lied to them, and so every word he said about being a newbie on this BTS was a total lie, and I could not put it out of my mind watching this.

Yes, Jake is a very hot guy, and a skilled sexual performer, but he totally burned his bridges here, but he can be very successful on other sites, as so many former Broke Straight Boys guys have done and are still doing. I wish Jake all of the success in the world and do not put him down. I just cannot take his words seriously in this series of interviews. Dimitri was doing in this BTS what he has done his whole life, and that is to cover up his true nature, and that is something I can relate to as having been a closeted gay man for so many years myself. But again, it made it difficult to watch his words here, when I know that his conflict was something so much more than thinking about putting another dick in his mouth, and in his case I do believe it was a first for him.

We are all entitled to our opinion Mike, and I did not react negatively to yours, I just said my piece. Talking about models who I think sucked dick and probably fucked before they joined this site, I would suggest Josh did as did Pryce or Price - remember Price who I liked but you thought was undergoing female therapy lol. The reason why I say Josh is because his scene with hot model Shane. BTW Josh is Josh Stewart when you search for him. Here is a link to the hot scene.

I think that the scene you linked is one of my all time favorite Broke Straight Boys scenes Jon, and while I usually am not into the kissing with the straight boys, in that scene I believe it was spontaneous from the almost amazed look on Josh's face as he gets into gay sex with one of the great porn stars, beautiful and sexy Porn Shane made for a sizzling scene.

Of course, in his real life, we don't know what Josh had done before coming to Broke Straight Boys, but he was "believably straight" to me, and I was able to buy into the story of him being buddies with Mike Robbins, back home and the dirt bike accident and all. It worked for me totally. And of course there was no video evidence of Josh ever doing online gay porn prior to Broke Straight Boys

Price was so not my type, and it was actually David who told us in his final days on the forum that he had a model who went through sex change hormone therapy, and many of us believed, and David never denied that it was Price.

I havent read all the posts so I appologise if I repeat anything thats been said but from what I have read I agree about the part where its been said how out of order it was for ian to say that about Damien Kyle on camera, I know every model has their opinion about each other as thats to be expected but for that to be put live for all members to see I think is out of order as it does tarnish dks reputation and when both Damien Kyle and paul got banned for doing something similar it suprised and angered me a bit that it had been aired as if it was ok for 1 but not the other.

I understand that you haven't read all of our comments prior to your post Dan, but again the difference to me is that Damien Kyle said his stuff without management approval. Ian answered questions honestly that were posed to him by DC, and DC had the ability to edit out anything he felt was inappropriate for the site, and what we heard out of Ian's mouth was after management edited and posted the final piece.

It doesn't matter if DC has the power to edit it or not, it's still one model saying negative shit about another one. Ian said crap about Johnny Forza last year, so he's with the "in" mgmt crowd who don't care what he says. DC admitted to not caring for Damien Kyle either, so there you go!!!

I think we are agreeing Peterh! DC is allowing the negativity about Damien Kyle to get out there. He didn't want bad things said about Vadim Black, so Paul & Damien got temporarily banned for insubordination, but apparently it is okay to bad mouth Damien Kyle, as after the editing process, Damian Christopher saw nothing wrong with what Ian said. Things are getting Curiouser and curiouser!, and my belief is that all of this "drama" is being tied into the proposed Broke Straight Boys-TV show.

Well remembered Peter, I had forgotten about the Johnny Forza bit.

Now Jon, I know that you and I have our difference of opinion about this topic and that's fine. Personally, I didn't think Jake was any greater performer or had stellar looks! That's just me. But, I've heard you suggest that models who've breached policy, or procedure be terminated (as in the regular work force). What this model did was out right lie to his employers. (Look at what recently happened with Elen D. and her beauty cosmetic sponsor) Broke Straight Boys wrote a narrative based on "blind faith" and taking this model's word. He intentionally lied.
I just see this as him cutting his own throat! Now, granted, he may and still will be employable, just not on this site. Maybe it's your "bias" in this case,? I don't know? I just agree to disagree with you on this one...No big deal.

LOL Betu - Maybe we should do a Human Resources course together - preferably in the US - and tackle these transgressors..

I thought it was a good BTS overall. Lots of uncomfortable moments though while we watched Jake lie and pretend he was a newbie to the industry. Also it was awkward watching Dimitri discuss his work while we knew he had that internal struggle going on below the surface. We ask for reality porn and reality programming since this is supposed to be a reality site. So for better and sometimes for worse, this is what we got.

I enjoyed seeing all of the models they had there. Between Mark, Blake, Ian, PC, Damien Kyle, Dimitri, Ronan Kennedy and so on...this was a pretty stellar cast.

Shit! (am I allowed to say that?) Guess I'm going to have to watch that scene to see what you all are talking about.
