Hello everyone, sorry for flooding the forum again with another thread but i just had a general question i'd like some answers to.

Which former Broke Straight Boys models are you aware of that moved on to another studio/company to continue their porn career?

Besides the obvious names of Vadim Black, Paul Canon, Brandon Evans & Kaden Alexander are there any other models that spring to mind?
thank you in advance guys =)

A lot of models move to other sites, that's how they continue their careers. It's only when they change their model names that it gets "hard" to find them.:001_tongue:

Conner "Big Red" Chesney has done some work for other studios but I don't think he is in porn any more! Last picture series I saw him in was Next Door Male!

And a handful have moved on to "Collge Dudes," or visa versa.

While you have listed a handful of more recently seen models, since joining this site originally back in 2011 and then permanently in 2013, I've discovered models who I first saw (which is not to say they first appeared) on Broke Straight Boys all over the internet. Going way back to David's era. Ironically, Paul Canon did a few scenes prior to his appearance on Broke Straight Boys for a "Reality Dudes" site which also had a straight site and Bait Bus was one of their sites, which he also appeared in a scene. The number is T.N.T.C which stands for too numerous to count. As Beth said, it's how they continue their porn careers or in some cases, Broke Straight Boys was one of the studios they performed in during their porn careers. Chances are, if this is what they want to do.....and what ever their motivation, they will move around. While some do change their porn names, some keep them too. I recently discovered a scene with Ryan in it. 237-large-5.jpg As well as some of the most "unlikely" finds like : Reed, and of course Sam Truitt :604-large-34.jpg And this one really surprised me! 838-models.jpg Jerek

Honestly, the list goes on and on. If you've got the time, I'm sure you will find more.

I know that a lot of members, even going back to when they first joined want to see, feel and believe that many of the models are new to porn or new to the site, and are straight or believably straight. Reality is, sometimes yes, sometimes no. And that is a fact going back to the days of the futon. Which came first? The Chicken or the Egg? Many of the models I first saw when I joined were the first time I'd seen them in porn. The discovery of them around the same time in other work with other studios could be coincidence, release dates or....prior work before appearing on Broke Straight Boys So, to me and I only share MY opinion on this, Broke Straight Boys has had success in presenting fresh new faces to the site even some straight models. The exposure of internet related porn and cam shows easily shows me that, models being featured having prior exposure has always been in existence. The back stories and what's revealed during the interviews has to be taken with a grain of salt. Sometimes there has been out right deceit on the part of models "mis-representing" their experiences. Today is a very internet savvy world. I think when it comes to watching porn, you have to suspend a little bit of reality......this is entertainment, I try not to become consumed by all of the little nuances......:001_cool:

Thanks for saying that, Betu. I've been thinking the very same thing, but couldn't figure how to put it into words. I think we all suffer from a bit of cognitive dissonance when we face our porn star realities. Don't forget to give credit where it's due to the studios who provide us with the fantasy that satisfies our cravings. When we read a novel we know it's fiction, but we can enjoy it anyway. I think Broke Straight Boys has done a pretty good job over the years by providing us with back stories and interviews, instead of just videos of two guys in front of a fireplace, or the couple sneaking off to the back room of a library. On top of that, they would openly toss in a "gay ringer" now and then, just to reinforce the other models "straightness". With the advent of social media, especially Twitter, that fantasy can come to a screeching halt. The fact that Broke Straight Boys has links to the models twitter pages on their site doesn't help. I wouldn't have seen anyone's twitter page if I hadn't seen those links, and TBH i'm sorry I did.

On top of that, style changes. I look at some of the older scenes and, by the gods, those models were skinny! We complain about the bodybuilder types, yet when we have models like Chris or Rowan, we say that they need to work out more build themselves up. Face it, guys. If it weren't for Ronan Kennedy's beautiful cock, even he's a little skimpy by today's fitness standards. (That is not a criticism by any means, but just a random observation).

We're living in very cynical times. It's great to reminisce about the models of the past, but I'm alive now and I want to enjoy now. I find I have to fight the urge to check out Twitter because finding out the "real dirt" just doesn't get me in the right frame of mind for watching porn. Maybe I've just had to make too much lemonade in my life, but even when I see a model like Flip (who just doesn't crank my engine, y'know?) I can still wonder how he would react if I tried to suck those hot nipples off his chest. Some scenes work a lot better than others, but that's why I watch porn.

For not being able to find the right words, you put it very well! LOL. I often chime in because I see things differently than most. I must say that you and I have a bit more in common. We have an idea of how we want things to be based on things we see and know...we all do but, when it comes to the porn and performances, sometimes, we just have to let go of certain things in order to just enjoy...it's porn!

Sometimes we hear and see things that have been introduced and even though we say it doesn't affect us, once it gets in the head it's there....we can pick and choose what we want to focus on ultimately. Not to get all philosophical but, when I am just here to have a bit of visual enjoyment, I am often discouraged by the amount of cynicism thrown out about the site, the models and the performances....that's who I am I guess!

But, I want you to know that I am often encouraged by the posts you share. You often reflect a lot of my thoughts! Thanks for that!

Thanks to you as well, Betu. It's always nice to find another person who "gets" what you're trying to say. I hate to admit that I've been one of those who has added to some of the cynicism, but I find that usually I regret it later, especially if it's about a scene. I was pretty harsh on the scene with Ronan Kennedy and Tanner, but when I watch it now, I think it's pretty good. Now I try not to say anything until I've watched a scene at least a couple of times.

I retired early, but because of health reasons I've found that I can't do a lot of things I thought I would be doing. Fortunately, I can still do moderate walking for activity, but mentally I do some not-too-strenuous volunteering, avidly read Car and Driver magazine, and watch porn (what can I say. Between cars and topping, I like to drive.:001_smile:), among a few others. So I really focus on avoiding the negative on the site. Sometimes the forum is a blessing, and sometimes it's not. I can't control (nor do I want to) what others think, but I can control my attitude. But i don't regret joining the forum at all. There are some pretty good guys here, in spite of themselves .

By the way, Betu, I like your Gerry Spence quote. It sounds very much like something Christopher Hitchens would say.

what about Dakota Ford, and Jimmy Johnson? Does anybody know where they are now?
Dakota came back here for a bunch of scenes just a few months ago but may be gone again. And Jimmy had a really successful run at Men.com where he finally bottomed. I went to google to try to find where he is now, and there was a mention that he also worked for Active Duty, so I don't know if he is still in the industry or not, but there are a ton of his scenes from all his work over the years.

However during my search, I did find this little youtube video promoting him on Broke Straight Boys-TV which I found to be very cute!

Sounds good. I mean what else you gonna do with your hands?!:banana-wave:

More about Jimmy Johnson

I know I will get in trouble with Peter and with Tampa if he is around, but while researching Jimmy earlier this morning, I did find this description of him on Porn Hub, which I enjoyed, as they can mentioned, "we can often spot a little glint in his eye that tells us he enjoys fucking guys a bit more than he wants us to know." I think that his detractors always took him a little bit too seriously.

Bio
It’s obvious that Jimmy Johnson played football in college, as he’s still got that athlete’s body and the air of a jock about him. But what we love about Jimmy is that he’s in shape but isn’t a roided-up muscle monster. He’s just buff enough that he looks like a guy you could pick up at the gym. His handsome blue-collar look, piercing eyes, and fat dick are also worth pointing out. Jimmy claims he's gay-for-pay and is just in it for the cash, and that’s the attitude he presents in his films. That said, we can often spot a little glint in his eye that tells us he enjoys fucking guys a bit more than he wants us to know. He took his time easing into the gay porn industry by making a few solo masturbation vids. Then he started topping, delivering his rod to bottoms desperate for his cock. Finally, Jimmy gave up his cherry, and his meaty bubble butt got worked over in what he claims was the first time he took a dick up his tight hole. Jimmy’s also done some mainstream work and can be spotted in a supporting role in the gay-themed drama “DTLA”, but we’re betting once you catch a glimpse of his hot bod in that, you’ll be heading over to Pornhub in no time to check out his big rod.
