Broke Straight Boys TV - Worth the wait

Of course I also enjoyed that they showed Paul going to visit his family. It was so bittersweet to see his mom who most of us adore...and then to realize that his older brother is no longer with us. MHRIP.

I'm always the last one to know; what happened to Paul's brother?

Hi DrabBoiz,

Very sadly, Paul's older brother passed away quite unexpectedly in the latter part of last year. I don't feel comfortable giving more info about it here. I figure that if Paul wanted it all shared here in the forum, that he or Damien would have already done so. If you go to Paul's twitter page though, he does talk about it in greater detail.

On another note regarding some of the more substantive discussions on the tv show, I'm reminded of when Cage Kafig spoke of losing his little sister when she was a child. To this day he obviously still mourns her loss. He showed us the tattoo he has in memory of her.

Hey Everyone,

I hope you're doing well. I had been wanting to comment further on some things about the tv show for a while. I still have all the episodes saved to my DVR and watch some of them from time to time. I'll ask for Mikey's indulgence here as I'll talk a little more about JJ. I think many of us in here were actually pretty restrained in our critiques of all of his numerous issues. I will say additionally that while JJ may not be gay, he certainly has the drama queen diva-like behavior and overinflated sense of self importance down. One part reminded me of the ego driven pop stars demanding no blue M&M's being allowed in their dressing rooms. lol

The supposed big deal he tried to make out of which brand of peanut butter he would eat had me rolling my eyes. While granted he was an employee of the site at the time he was brought into the house, he was still a guest in someone else's home. To insist that that his hosts and employers go out and buy Peter Pan peanut butter just for him because he refuses to eat Jiff (or vice versa) is just really rude. It's not like he had food allergies or specific dietary requirements important to his health. That whole little tempest in a teapot was just about him jerking their chain in his mistaken belief that he was so important to the site and the show. Who would ever do that in as a guest in someone else's home over something so minor? I mean how many peanut butter sandwiches is one person going to eat in a just a couple weeks anyway? And if those who live in the house eat and buy a different brand, then that's what a polite houseguest eats also.

I mean, I'm partial to whole milk. But if I'm a houseguest in someone else's home I wouldn't tell them that I couldn't possibly eat my cereal with 1 or 2% milk and insist that they go out and buy something different just for me. Unless you have a religious or health concern that necessitates a particular diet, you eat what's there. And you express sincere gratitude and thanks for the hospitality.

That was put really nice Tampa so i'll interpret what you meant. JJ's an ASSHOLE!!! There we all feel better.....

Another thing I wanted to bring up was the scene where Johnny Forza left the house. Johnny F was very spoiled and wrapped up in the belief that he was really important to the site too. I loved him in some of his earlier and middle work. I still think he's got a great body. But... I think his early success here went to his head. The one above his shoulders! haha Later on he acted like all he had to do was show up on set with his beautiful body, smile for the camera and then just coast through a scene and let his scene partners do all the work. I'm conflicted because I really would have liked him to be able to stay longer if only he had cared about continually doing a good job for the fans.

As it was though, I really sensed that it was time for him to be let go. His time here had run its course. If he had been given an extension on his contract, I think his work ethic and inflated ego would have just gotten worse. Some models come here doing really good work but they don't get a contract. While some others get a contract and then act like some nightmare tenured professor who starts showing up late to his own classes because he's banging some co-ed student of his in the janitor closet. haha It was time for Johnny to know that the gravy train had ended. The fact that he has continued to get paying work in the industry actually pleases me. I hold no ill will towards him.

I've kind of beaten around the bush so far as to my point here. But as I say, it regards the final scene where Jonny was standing at the door leaving the house, saying his goodbyes on his way out to the airport. For those of you who didn't see Sabrina mention it in a BTS from a while back you wouldn't have caught Paul's little dig at Johnny as he left. Paul said something like, "Nice suitcase you have there Johnny." If you recall or if you actually go back to the episode, you'll see that Johnny left the house with only his coat. Why is that and where was his suitcase? Already taken out to the car perhaps? Uhh... He didn't bring one. After he was signed to a contract he started boarding the plane from his hometown for a multi-day trip...with nothing more than probably his wallet, keys and cellphone.

As Sabrina said in the earlier BTS he just started regularly showing up at the house in Denver with no luggage, no extra clothes, and no toiletries. I'm sure he thought it was hilarious. He just boarded the plane for another city and state without ever having to worry about a carry-on or a checked bag. He boarded a plane with nothing more on him than you'd expect to need for a walk to the corner store to buy a loaf of bread. Broke Straight Boys had to buy him extra clothes for his stay. We all know those aren't free or even cheap. They had to launder his one outfit of clothes, buy him pajamas if he needed any, then provide him with a new toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, soap, razors, shaving cream and on and on. Who paid for all of those extra unnecessary expenses? We did of course. He had gotten so full of himself that it was just one more sign that it was wise for his contract not have been renewed.

I do wish him well though. I have a feeling that he has been used and abused out there in the rest of the industry where things can get shady at best. I hope not.

Tampa....I do believe that his Generation is referred to as The " ME " Generation, Spoiled by parents......In my generation as I would assume yours, Peters, Mike's, Johnny's, you ate what was on the table or went hungry....and in my house that even meant liver and onions....lolololol.....Whats funny is now I love it....as a kid, not so much.....lololol......

I still hate liver!!! But wouldn't kick Johnny out of my bed, hell I'd prrobably buy him a new outfit, toiletries and no need for pajamas as we'll both sleep naked lol

I agree. I still wouldn't kick him out of bed. haha No need for pajamas with me either. Especially in Florida. lol

But if it's Denver Colorado in the wintertime and -7 degrees outside...I'm sure it's pretty expensive to heat a huge manse to 70 some degrees. I'm sure it's much cheaper to wear a robe and some PJ's around the house.

I was never one of those believers in forcing kids to stay at the table until they finished every bite of food. In some cases it borders on abuse of power and a form of emotional abuse. For the record though I might decline a hosts offer of liver and onions for dinner. I think I could make some excuse for something I needed to do that night that might involve a secret rendezvous with a drive-thru. haha

You read my mind Peter. haha But I didn't need to say it because his girlfriend already did. On the show she said that once he got into the business that he turned into an "a**hole". She said she watched the process happen. Also, in spite of all his alpha male bravado and posturing, at home his ego needs constant attention and reassurance from her.

I'm not saying that JJ is gay. lol I don't think he is.

But... That scene of him in the chair of the testing lab with him screaming and crying while holding Sabrina's hand...before, during and after the tech had put the needle in to draw his blood (lol)...and making sure the camera (and attention) was all on him...was pure drama queen theatrics and camera hogging. The rest of his camera time with paranoid and defensive ranting and raving about being falsely accused of this or that, was much the same.

And the Broke Straight Boys TV Oscar for "Best Performing Actress in a Dramatic Role"...goes to... *drumroll* :movie:

Jimmy Johnson!! :throwroses:

There is nothing more that the "Bear from Brooklyn" can say about Jimmy. I think he's a very cool guy who obviously is very successful at his current chosen profession of doing gay for pay porn, and it's not a coincidence that he's the one that was brought back to act on the show as if he was still a regular member of the cast as he has star power. Love him or hate him, you know his name.

And much like the "haters" of my two favorite sports teams the Yankees and Duke, I say that people only hate proven winners, so I consider it all complementary that people take the energy to hate winners. So hate away. I am immune to the jealous barbs at this point.

Well mikey as it was you and I standing at the ramparts when the Jimmy haters started going at it back in the day, I have to say I agree with you. When I was in the mood for that type of sex back in the day, Jimmy represents the kind of hustler or trade I'd go after. I don't comment every time the haters post but don't feel as if you are alone, I'm there with you in spirit.
