Hi Jay,
Great post! The betrayal was actually even worse than just poaching
Broke Straight Boys employees for his own site. I do totally agree that prostitution is not too strong a word to describe what Clay was doing with the models. When you are paying someone to have sex with other models in a studio, that's a business arrangement. When you're paying models to have sex with YOU, that's different. Or if you are playing favorites among the models and bartering more future work (and scenes $$$) for a model, on the condition that he either sleeps with you in private, or agrees to have video recordings of him sleeping with you...with the implied threat that if he doesn't agree, that he will get little or no more future work with the company...that's a form of extortion and bribery to a guy who is broke, or unemployed, or both.
Also as to additional aspects as to why I say it was especially bad, is because Clay was filming some
Broke Straight Boys models
on Broke Straight Boys sets and using Broke Straight Boys camera equipment for his own personal site. While I have no proof myself, it's also not out of the realm of probability that the money he was using to pay these models to have sex with him was not all out of Clay's own personal funds. It's likely that at least some, (if not all) of that money for the models' fees, was coming out of
Broke Straight Boys company funds.
That kind of betrayal (besides being illegal and/or immoral towards both the models and the company for numerous reasons) is just Next Level on the personal level.
