Broke Straight Boys TV - Worth the wait

This one was actually much better than the last one. Especially as far as not being as snarky and negative towards the staff. Much better! :)

Well, Season 2 would definitely be interesting. Especially with the last scene’s “after scene”.

The series originally aired in 2014 - 2015 and at this point another season is highly unlikely, but that ending with Mark being so upset about being "betrayed" by one of his employees was very dramatic and while it was never definitely confirmed it is obviously Clay who was identified as Shane Heiser during the TV program. He did appear in the last segment with Mark looking at pictures of potential new models who are "very straight", and of course they showed the still of one of my all time favorites, Ayden Troy. But Clay was replaced by Johnny Robbins as director and Clay began his own sites using many Broke Straight Boys models, so it is rather obvious he is the one that Mark was talking about.

But this final episode had tons of drama including Damien and Paul "coming out", the discovery that Cage Kafig spent the night in Mark's room and of course the racial tension between Damien Kyle and Damian Christopher. There was a lot going on in that last episode. I thank Mike Rizzo for doing his retrospective of the series. Again, I had forgotten a lot of what went down six years ago when I subscribed to HERE-TV to watch the series when it first aired.

I was actually being a little sarcastic about season 2. They’d actually have to rehire Jimmy Johnson for season 2, because there are VERY FEW models currently that would pass as believably “Broke Straight Boys”.
I was wondering who Mark was talking about at the end, and now that you’ve explained it totally makes sense. I’d be livid if I found an employee was going behind my back and filming their own content. If there has been forgiveness there since this all happened, all I can say is Mark is a better person than I could ever be.
I’ve seen a couple of these scenes Clay has produced with Clay in the scene. These companies where the producer is having sex with the talent is just prostitution being disguised as porn. Sorry if it pisses anyone off reading this, but it’s the truth. There are quite a few companies out there. Michael Lucas is one of the big names, and now he’s supposedly retiring from being in the scenes....lol. Yeah, I’m sorry, but that going behind Mark’s back and stealing talent is unforgivable in my opinion.
Anyway, it was nice to see Mike Rizzi’s reaction to this show, for the most part.

That's a great idea Jay! They should do an updated Broke Straight Boys-TV every five or six years and bring back "Jimmy John" and his ex-girlfriend who is the mother of his kids. There could be a new dinner prepared for them by the current models at the house and then Jimmy could get into a big fight with his ex and they kick Jimmy out of the house until Broke Straight Boys-TV III in 2025. :haha: LOLOLOLOLOL

On a serious note, I completely agree with you about Clay. It was a total betrayal to Mark and I've never watched any of his scenes having sex with his models. The kind of porn that turns me on is between in shape young guys, not with an out of shape older man who is "punishing" them. Not my scene at all!!!

Hi Jay,

Great post! The betrayal was actually even worse than just poaching Broke Straight Boys employees for his own site. I do totally agree that prostitution is not too strong a word to describe what Clay was doing with the models. When you are paying someone to have sex with other models in a studio, that's a business arrangement. When you're paying models to have sex with YOU, that's different. Or if you are playing favorites among the models and bartering more future work (and scenes $$$) for a model, on the condition that he either sleeps with you in private, or agrees to have video recordings of him sleeping with you...with the implied threat that if he doesn't agree, that he will get little or no more future work with the company...that's a form of extortion and bribery to a guy who is broke, or unemployed, or both.

Also as to additional aspects as to why I say it was especially bad, is because Clay was filming some Broke Straight Boys models on Broke Straight Boys sets and using Broke Straight Boys camera equipment for his own personal site. While I have no proof myself, it's also not out of the realm of probability that the money he was using to pay these models to have sex with him was not all out of Clay's own personal funds. It's likely that at least some, (if not all) of that money for the models' fees, was coming out of Broke Straight Boys company funds.

That kind of betrayal (besides being illegal and/or immoral towards both the models and the company for numerous reasons) is just Next Level on the personal level.

Oh hell naw. I didn’t know he was filming on sets and using equipment. I thought he just stole the talent. What a horrible thing to do.
And at what point did he decide he wanted to be a porn star? There’s a part of me that thinks he initially did it so he could have sex with the models.

He may very well have started off that way. In looking for a way to get into the Broke Straight Boys models' pants for himself, maybe he thought that if he started his own production company, that it would look more legitimate and less sleazy, offensive and self-serving to said models.
