Boring forum

New York City is very gay friendly, (despite bigots and homophobes as the Bronx gang who tortured their perceived gay prospective members). But if you want to visit our city, it is mostly a great place to be openly gay.

I love this city. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else, other than Jon's bedroom for a few days...

Jon. This is NOT the governor talking. This is the Republican candidate who won the primary on the "tea party" line. (Tea party refers back to when the colonies revolted against the British, by the way). The current governor Patterson, and the Democratic candidate who is way ahead in the polls Cuomo, are both solidly in favor of gay rights and gay marriage.

New York State includes New York City, which is obviously very pro gay rights, as well as upstate New York, which is geographically and politically very different. Thanks for putting me right Mike, I thought it was rather strange for such a great city to be against the pink pound. I am thinking of coming to visit with a friend in January next year. Any help in finding nice hotels and places to go would be most welcome.

Hey Jon, I think you and your friend will have a blast visiting NYC. I was downtown this morning near Union Square on a sunny 60 degree autumn day, and the city was alive with business folks, and tourists, and vendors, and there were tons of really cute guys from colleges and who are working in the area.

Sorry, but living here I'm not much good at recommending accommodations here. Obviously there are world class hotels like the Waldorf Astoria, but I believe that is out of your price range. I know there are also gay friendly accommodations, which I'm sure you can find online. Or perhaps some other forumites may have visited our fair city, and could make suggestions to you.

Perhaps we can meet for a drink, when you are visiting.

Look in the air, is it a bird? a plane? no it is...

... a Balloon in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and those little curly hair-looking things around his cock and balls are actually "guy wires" used to navigate the streets safely during the parade so all the boys and girls at home or on the sidewalk can see all there is to see. What looks like the beginnings of back hairs on his shoulder are a secondary line of defense in case "bon-bon man" gets turned over. These guy wires extending to "bob-bon man's butt" would allow the parade to continue on safely.

Hey Mike,

Have they finished digging up Union Square yet? What they have done so far looks great. I real popular place for people to hang out.

Jon,

Back in spring I stayed with a mate on the upper west side for a weekend break at Hotel 99 on corner of West 99th and Broadway. It was modern clean and had very clean shared bathrooms on each floor. Its not in the Village but was a pleasant stay and I'd go back there. It was about $100 + tax per night for the room.

Well, I did say that I saw some very cute young guys, so perhaps I did check you out this morning.:thumbup1: I guess one never knows when they will run into a fellow forumite.

Mike, If Z and myself crossed paths he would run a mile. He doesn't even reply to my offline messages anymore. Maybe he's too hot with his real life b/f - and I don't blame him either. x

Jon, Are you telling us that this "fairy tale" cyber romance of two of our finer examples of young manhood on the Broke Straight Boys forum, have broken up???? :001_tt1:

We need a Broke Straight Boys Gossip sheet, like the National Enquirer to report all this "dirt". Perhaps this is a misunderstanding, and if you do reconcile, please let us know if "make up cyber sex", is as good as the real thing.

Hang in there Jon. You will be just fine. :thumbup1:

We haven't broken up! Midterms and dissertation. My boyfriend is feeling the lack of my attention as well.

Some people just don't get my British SOH lol. I love him to bits but it's internet love and I know it's limits.

The visit to NYC in January though, may push the internet love to another level but I wouldn't in a month of Sundays interfere or break up an already established relationship. I've had it done to me in the past and it's not nice. Instead I hope to come over with a nice fella of my own. x
