Alex Maxim dead? Please say it isn't so.

Perhaps I missed any announcement already made. If so please excuse this post. I believe that College Dudes is a sister site to Broke Straight Boys I just read where Alex Maxim passed away last October. Please tell this is not so. There is so much stuff floating around the internet these days, so much "fake news". I sincerely hope that this news is part of that.

If this is true, I am heartsick. We view these fellows and in a funny way one can establish a remote friendship with them over the weeks, months, years. One might even have a tendency to think that they have a lot going for them. Alex was beautiful and seemed very down to earth and charming. He seemed like he could have had a hundred reasons to continue to live. When something like this happens, and it happens all too much to young people today, the question always lingers . .."Why"? One would think that with his looks and charm he would have had a myriad of friends with whom to talk. Things sometime make no sense I guess. Sigh. . . .

I agree completely. It's so sad. We look at some people who we admire or like and they appear to have their act together with so much going for them. But we never know for sure what current issues or baggage from their past they might be carrying around.

Unfortunately it is true. Alex was a beautiful soul and I wish he had reached out to any of us or a friend or someone. We are always there for all our models to listen to their issues or whatever they may need. We all really enjoyed his company and getting to know him. RIP Alex
