I recall seeing an advertisement or a clip while watching a BTS episode quite a while ago with Angel & Daniel in a sensual looking shower scene. Angel had one J/O scene: "Desperate Angel....." Daniel hasn't had a scene in quite a long time. Just wondering where they are now? Was that just an advertisement?

Not sure about Angel and the beautiful Daniel but via a complete fluke of Googling something else I was interested in, I did just find out what the great Broke Straight Boys-1 Boy, Porn Shane, is up to these days. I don't want to say anything at all that might compromise his privacy so let me just let y'all know that he's currently very happy, healthy and owns a successful (non-adult-entertainment-orientated) business. I may be mistaken as to the producers of Out in Public but, Ashton was also in an episode of Haze Him, another site accessible from whomever the producers were. It was (I dare say) the same cluster of sites as: bait bus, public bus, out in public and a few more! Probably before Broke Straight Boys or shortly after.

I do not know what his issues are though he might have had some chemical issues which unfortunately are not uncommon among young men. That was something I experienced while living in San Diego. Granted, were talking over 20 years ago but, Meth was the "drug of choice" among the young guys. It was not uncommon to see both gay & straight guys hustling(turning tricks) for drugs or money to buy drugs. Over a period of time, you could see how fast their looks would deteriorate. It was very sad to see!

I agree that Aston did have that look, particularly as time went by, similar to street hustlers who had "chemical issues". I first began observing young straight identifying guys who turned tricks possibly to get high, back around 1975 when I was 25 mostly in Fort Lauderdale and some here in New York City.

It is interesting to see that almost forty years later, the same kind of guys exhibit the same personality traits and get involved in selling their dicks and asses for quick cash. Just as there always have been and probably always will be the same percentages of the population who are gay, and bi, etc., that there have always been the percentage who hustle, or do porn and live that life on the edge which can have terrible consequences. We've seen the tragic end of both Dustin and Mike Robbins from our own Broke Straight Boys family, and I've heard rumors of other former models reaching a tragic early demise.

I know recent threads regarding the "selection process" of the newer models and the areas from which models come from, was a topic of discussion. I can see where the guy off the street scenario would appeal to me, but the realization too that a (even small) percentage may use porn to help support their "life style" as such would also make the "screening process" or selection of guys a challenge. Most of the models we see presently do (for the most part) have positive pursuits and goals! While a few have presented as very laid back with not much going on, I am sure they aren't not living a life style that will ultimately lead them down the path of self destruction. If anything, they seem to get more beat up pursuing normal, adventurous (although sometimes dangerous) hobbies involving motorized recreational vehicles!

I don't think I ever picked up a hustler on the streets of New York. I wouldn't even know exactly where they are today. Back in the day, my main hunting grounds were the streets of Fort Lauderdale. Maybe you do have a point Jon, that the models seemed straighter in Florida.

I agree with your point too Jon. lol I just don't want it to be taken as an "insult" by some of the models here. Besides that, it was always a source of happiness and pride in the past to know that Broke Straight Boys was filmed in my home state.
