Whats happened/happening to BSB?

Recently I heard filming for Broke Straight Boys has stopped in Colorado. Is that true and why? To be honest I wonder about the future of Broke Straight Boys (hoping it continues). The lady that was the 'house mother' said on a video how she she voiced her opinion and was fired by the owner (who she said was her brother-in-law). To only be brought back. Then she left for 'greener pastures' and help start another company. Now I've read off site, of course, some think Broke Straight Boys's days are numbered. I hope not sincerely because the site has merits but I dont dont want to attempt to log on one day just to find out the site has shut down. It has happened. to other sites. So what are the FACTS anyone know? Cant hate me for asking but some will. Their fault not mine.

As a longtime fan and devotee of Broke Straight Boys, I have to say that I have the same concerns as you do Jack regarding the future of the site, and to my knowledge every "rumor" that you mentioned is true. I believe that the problem is mainly the whole state of the gay for pay porn industry today, as every kid with a web camera can broadcast himself on the sites like Chaturbate and others, and that the whole pay scale for porn has gone way down, leaving sites like Broke Straight Boys without the hot never seen before young guys who used to appear here.

Obviously the types of models have changed radically over the last year or so, and while the porn does not generally titillate me the way it did in the past, I am a loyal customer who loves the history, the archives and especially this forum and I intend to stick with Broke Straight Boys in whatever direction it goes, and I agree with you Jack that I sure hope that one day I don't attempt to log in and find that it is all gone. That would be a very sad day for me.

It's what I've been saying they need to change and make business decisions to stay in business. They will adapt to what people want in a world of change. We have to accept and not question all their decisions.
As for Cams I recently started using them. Here its Broke Straight Boys live. Its not as good as the videos here but in some ways its better. You can watch for free add your credit card to get more. Use your credit card and lots more. It can really make you spend but with your own self control its fun.

We have been worried about Broke Straight Boys closing it's doors for quit a while. But I think they are doing better right now than they have in a long time.
If you go back a few months ago it really did seem that was going to happen. Even the Forum was dead.
But they have built up a good group of models. A few been around for a while. And a bunch of newbies. And there might even be a straight one in the group?
I have not looked forward to a few of the new models in a long time. I miss the mansion.
But remember we started with just a futon. And it worked. So for me I am sticking with it till the end. And I hope that will be in a long time.
And Tanner and Draven are coming so I am happy with the way things are going..And then there is Zeno Kostas,
Zander Floyd and Drake.lol No answer to the rumors. But they have been going on since I first joined.
And they are just Rumors. Just saying.....

i think in my personal opinion that were getting better as a company and keep getting great talent!!! Broke Straight Boys aint going anywhere..

Actually Joey, I see nothing wrong with us questioning management's decisions when we disagree. As long as Mark gives us a free forum to express ourselves, I feel it is our obligation to be honest and forthright with our opinions regarding the site, or else the forum is meaningless.

while I may have no knowledge about the decision drivers, I would never hold my tongue when I see something I don't like seeing.
'new coke' is a good case for questioning questionable management decisions.
here a Broke Straight Boys management decision, I question.
in the last six months, there have been 68 anal scenes. 10 were not bareback. that is a change from what was earlier announced.
like I said, I don't know the decision drivers, but I know what was said and do question the change.

I know that times are tough in the industry. If anything though, the quality has improved on Broke Straight Boys tremendously over the 6+ month transition you refer to. The models are much more attractive. The quality of filming has improved. I think the site has great potential to keep going and going like the Energizer bunny. lol

Like Buckeye says, I can relate to your decision to move to Florida. I did the same thing myself many years ago. I never did like the cold. I also didn't enjoy shoveling snow. haha Coming to Florida is one of those important lifetime decisions I've never regretted. Not only is it a nice place to live. But I think it also makes good sense from a business standpoint.

I hope that Broke Straight Boys's leaving Colorado doesn't mean that we will not see or hear from a certain Ian Dempsey again. lol I would still love to see him back for more work in the future if he is willing and able, and if you would be amenable to flying him out.

Since I am relatively new to Broke Straight Boys, I have to say I've not ever heard rumors about it not being around. I find that it has adapted to the current affair of gay or gay-interest porn. The broke boy looking for quick cash works for me. Gay or not, they are there to experiment and to take and offer pleasure on camera. This site guarantees you will get that.

I've been on Chaturbate where I have tossed quite a few tokens at some dudes who then scamper off when the goal is met into a "Private Show" and come out of it all spent and the person buying the show might spend 200 tokens to see the finale but hadn't kicked in to get them to that point. That sucks.

I for one appreciate Mark coming into the forum to give his personal assurances. Yet, as the site states, what are Broke Straight Boys willing to do for cash? Blue Media studios, with its exceptional technology might be a real value to someone looking.

I grew up in Aurora, a suburb of Denver and really loved it. My family spent a good deal of time in the Rockies, and I lived in a small town up there called Granby for two summers as a teen. Now I'm in Seattle and really like it here, rain and all. It's a sophisticated city with tons of amenities and things to do.
I used to have layovers in Florida, mostly in Miami and Ft Lauderdale, and while the sun was great, I hate blazing heat and humidity (I got enough of that when I lived in NYC), and bugs and reptiles are low on my list of tons of amenities. I'm glad, Mark that you're happy there, but if I had to live someplace warm, I'd choose Hawaii. Always a breeze to beat the heat and fewer bugs

Thanks so much Ertas for sharing that with us. I also was very interested to read the comments on that page as well, regarding Brady Bennet. I find it fascinating how Ian has relocated in Orlando and is pursuing male escorting in addition to his lifeguard work.
