You know how on American Idol in the first few episodes they show you all the people who can't sing but think they are destined for Hollywood? That's what the applicant pool looks like most weeks. You look at the application and the photos and are just left to wonder, "what were they thinking".

I agree. Much appreciated. But it is another reason I say again to just drop the "straight" part. I understand the company wouldn't want to change the site's name and re-brand, but I'm suggesting a model's orientation not even be brought up in the broadcasted interview. An obviously gay guy claiming to be strait and talking about his "girlfriend" or all the pussy he's gotten is insulting and feels like someone thinks the membership is stupid. I don't know if the models think they need to say that to fit in to the site's "theme" or if they are told to play straight, but I think it would be far better to just skip the orientation question all together and allow the membership to think what they may of the models.There are ways to word an interview to ask questions about a model's sexual experiences without bringing up gender. A mystery is better than a lie.

Of course you probably couldn't do it for any number of reasons, but it would be fun to see these "what were they thinking?" applicants! Those first few episodes each season of American Idol were the only ones I ever watched -- it was always funny to watch the untalented and the delusional strut their stuff in front of a panel of horrified or incredulous judges!

I actually really respect Broke Straight Boys for what they do. I feel like it would be a very difficult to find a " straight boy" let alone one that's good looking and also open to do what's required of them. Yes, this is one that I've been excited to see. So far Benjamin hasn't disappointed, although I know there were some who were unhappy with his rather abrupt early finish in his last scene. I think he's probably the strongest performer on the site right now, or at least has the most potential for being the next Broke Straight Boys superstar. And Brandon is just adorable, despite the fact that he insists on shaving his chest and tummy (boo!) . So I think this scene has a lot of potential and I'm really looking forward to it.
