Upcoming scene Paul & Flint get tested...........

I really loved both updates! The first one because it gave us an insight into the whole testing process and what the guys go through and the second one for the funny parts and getting another glimpse into the guys' stay at the house. I always want to see more when we see them in these BTS especially when they're as fun as the pranking done on Jason which was priceless, haha ... and the interaction between Ms. Sabrina and the guys.
I, too, Tampa felt sadness when seeing Paul leave. I loved the little "Someone like you" singing moment with him and Ms. Sabrina!
Thanks Mark and everyone involved for making these BTS for us

Milla, as we say in the south, not the south of France, southern down Georgia way: "bless your little heart! I totally agree with you on this part 2. It was just far more entertaining and we got a glimpse of Mark too.

I throughly enjoyed every bit of it.

I completely agree Milla! Especially the "someone like you" moments with Paul and Sabrina, as to me that is now Paul's "signature song".

There are only a small handful of current models that I am enamored with, but I consider Paul to be very special on Broke Straight Boys There is something about his looks, personality and talents that all work together for me to make anything that appears in to be "must see internet TV" for me. :thumbup1:

While I enjoyed this BTS very much, I would have been more comfortable with the testing had it been performed in a larger medical facility, rather than a storefront space in a strip mall. I don't know how it is in the rest of the country, but here in beautiful southern Ohio, every drug bust concerning legitimate doctors has occurred in storefronts facilities. It is so easy to rent one of these spaces, hang up a sign and call themselves a legitimate medical facility.

One other thing that concerned me was the time frame of getting the results back. The "nurse" told Flint that it took 72 hours to get the results, and then on the screen next was a statement, "12 hours later..." Which is correct, 72 hours or 12 hours?

This BTS did nothing to calm my fears of these so called tests. If anything, it enhanced them.

Yes I too noticed the anomaly regarding the 12 and 72 hour wait.

I think that testing in general is a very sensitive subject as i personally never will know 100% that my body is functioning how a medical professional says it is..i'm not a doctor or nurse, but i know how they search for these diseases and i know that it isnt a difficult task. now as far as the concern eith a store front testing facility i opposition to it being in a hospital associated or medical associated complex is also a concern for me as i hope it is with other people. i have personally been to the testing facility that our information is sent to and regulated from. it is a very legitimate testing facility and i trust their word medically. with that being said, the testing facilities we use are approved by the main facility which is why i trust that their work is real and not just an answer to allow us to show that we're testing. the boys on the site really are clean and we really are tested thoroughly to ensure the safety of all us models. the timing does vary as far as how long it takes for the test to come up..just as credit card companies state itll take 7-10 business days for a transaction to process, and knowingly it only takes 3 days most times, these companies give the courtesy to tell us their could be a 72 hour wait, when knowingly it will take no longer than a day. In my opinion, this is a way businesses keep their customers happy while also saving themselves from complaints if a test does take the full 72 hours. please ask any questions you have on the matter, and dont take my words for the bible as i'm just a silly pornstat with a year of anatomy class under my belt from when i was in high school. but if my opinion raises any concern i'm more than happy to sit down with a real professional to discuss the matter and bring that knowledge back here to easy the minds of our concerned forumites :). this is just my personal opinion with a very small amount of background knowledge..so like i said..i hope this eases your mind at least some

and i'm sorry for my huge thumb mistakes in my extremely long, story book response..i use my phone and well, have huge ape thumbs..what can i say

Hi Paul. Thanks for your post. It is not you that we should be asking questions to verify the testing process but it is the Broke Straight Boys management. But they have already stated that the testing is done professionally and without fail. Having seen the BTS I too have to question whether where you get tested is accurate enough and not some tin pot back street shop which gives out bullshit results.

Sorry Broke Straight Boys, but as I said in the Bareback thread, the UK medical council state that one can only be tested clean 3 months after a potential infection and I have asked about your so called quick process and they say it is very much unreliable.

Jon, I agree with you and Robb that it did not seem like the professional medical lab that I was expecting. And I too agree that Paul should not have to speak for management on this issue.

But I also now realize that all of the major gay porn studios are doing bareback, and Broke Straight Boys is a business, and needs to stay competitive, and based on the comments by the bb enthusiasts, it seems to be very popular with the masses, but this entertaining BTS nevertheless still leaves me somewhat uneasy watching the "raw" fucking, but I don't see that changing now that the floodgates have opened.

the uk medical council takes a middle ground is an argument that suggest antibodies take between 2 weeks and 6 months to be detacted. this is antibodies. the test the guys take looks for hiv dna. the reason everyone is not offered this test is it is expensive. a positive result for hiv dna would require waiting for the antibodies show up in standard antibody testing.
with regard to the 12 hours later and the it usually take 3 days thing the plebotomist said, the webpage for a major testing service says, 72 hours or less. many of the comments were have the results were available the next day. you open an account and the results are sent to your account.
i mean, the idea is you get in by 10 am, you gets your results uploaded by 10 pm. everybody else will get an email saying the results are available.
most of services that test for dna offer express service. you pay more and get quicker service. like the state department, pay more and get your passport quicker.

Hello MIKEY,

- Broke Straight Boys showing BAREBACK (and other porn sites for that matter) episodes , as I see it,
is simply enhancing the "fantasy" experience of the viewer.

You yourself have admitted that the "STRAIGHT-BOY" "essence" of the model is part of your "fantasy"
and that's why you subscribed to this site.
My definition of fantasy is what's the opposite of the person's reality.

The "straight persona" of the model in a scene/episode is a "ROLE or CHARACTER".
These boys/models are ACTORS, performing to "ENTERTAIN" in front of the camera- of a venue that
sells ... well, the fantasy of a straight guy having male-to-male sex.

And the BARE-BACK feature is just another component of "the" fantasy.

In other words, Some gay men fantasize having sex with a straight guy. Some have had it in real life,
But MOST gay men have not and it's a fantasy for them.

In real life, since, STD's DO EXIST, fucking BARE-BACK is a risk that other's DO NOT DO IT AT ALL.
But it does not mean they are not aware of it's greater pleasure. Maybe they USED to fuck BB,
and they miss it.
And to watch it in a scene is their FANTASY.

For others to say that showcasing a bare-back scene is IRRESPONSIBLE is in my view, an over-reach.
The viewer SHOULD bear the responsibility of intelligence. He MUST know that it is a movie.

The same way an audience knows that a period movie is... a period movie and it's not in real time,
or any sci-fi movie is simply sci-fi.
or if they see an actor playing a real-life character, say Daniel Day Lewis playing Abe Lincoln.
-- this movie transformed the audience to that time-era,
but when the lights came on they know it was... Daniel playing Abe.

As to Broke Straight Boys revealing to us it's protocol for bare-backing, thus the HIV/STD testing. - is commendable.
Given some of the push back about Broke Straight Boys, I believe Mark was thorough enough to make sure
that the quality of the testing/testing place is unquestionable.

Hey Mikey, you know I LUVS YA.
Hope you did not mind me sharing my :2c:.

Hi AsIseeIt,

I really enjoy your forum posts, because you obviously care about this site as I do, and I always enjoy reading the thoughts of fellow fans of the site.

You make an excellent point that the bb is part of the fantasy, much as the straight boy persona seen here is often a fantasy too.

I just wish that I could feel as confident as you do that all of the testing procedures are as unquestionably thorough, and accurate as you feel they are. I certainly hope and pray that you are right, for the sake of all the lovely young guys who entertain us here with their beautiful bodies. That to me is much more important than them fulfilling my fantasies.

I enjoy and want you to share your :2c: here as often as you'd like. That to me is what the forum is all about, and you are a wonderful addition to the "frequent forumite" posters. Please keep posting and expressing your feelings, whether you agree or perhaps totally disagree with me on any issue. I enjoy, and welcome diversity of opinions here.

I agree with you AsI. I think it's great that they gave us a glimpse of the testing phase the models go through. Some concern has been voiced about the accuracy of tests from samples that are taken in strip mall kinds of facilities. I think that concern is unwarranted. I get blood tests regularly to test my kidney function as well as the occasional urine specimen. If the samples aren't done in an actual doctor's office then I usually go to a very reputable facility that has all of its locations in strip mall type locations. I don't know of any blood drawing facilities near me that are in free-standing buildings. All of the actual testing labs are in free-standing buildings, that I know of. But not the centers where the samples are drawn.

Their labwork results are trusted by all of the medical establishment that I am aware of. Keeping in mind of course that the testing of blood, urine, etc. is never done by random employees there "in house". It's not like they have some secret back room where they do the work themselves. The samples drawn and collected there are always sent out to very reputable and well regulated medical labs where professionals test the samples and send back the results. They have no patient contact there in the testing labs at all. Processing specimens is all they do.

The concern of strip mall operations is very warranted from where I live. I did say that I didn't know how it is in other areas, but here, they are a problem. I did not even imply that ALL strip mall operations everywhere were not to be trusted. After reading Paul's response, I now know that things may just be different in different parts of the country. I am very happy that you live in one of those good areas.

I totally disagree about the testing process. Sure you may get the result in 12 hours but how accurate is it ? I go for 3 month checks but the nurse says you're only as safe as you were 3 months ago. If you've had unprotected sex within the 3 months then the any infection will not show up.

On a separate tangent. I met a guy tonight for a drink. He said he had been to a party last Saturday and had been fucked bareback by 5 guys and each one of the 5 came in his arse. Then he admitted he was single because his previous partner died of Aids. You really would think that people would pinch themselves but they dont.

It boggles the mind. It's scary out there. :/

from: http://hivtest.cdc.gov/faq.aspx
some tests take a few days for results, but rapid HIV tests can give results in
about 20 minutes.

from the fda final guidance on rapid hiv dna testing for blood collection:
Nucleic Acid Testing, or NAT, is a nucleic acid amplification technology that
includes polymer chain reaction, or PCR, to detect certain viral components. NAT
enables the earliest and most sensitive detection of disease-causing human
viruses in blood and plasma donations.

A recently infected person would have virus particles in the blood stream.
Although the blood or plasma could be infectious, the infection may not be
detected using current antibody tests because the person may not yet have
developed antibodies. This time frame before measurable antibody production is
called the " window period." Over time, the person would make enough antibodies
for the antibody test to be effective. However, because NAT can detect RNA or
DNA from a very small number of virus particles, it can reduce the window period
by detecting the infection earlier.

my view is that if it has the support of the fda, the cdc and the va, then i am as comfortable as i will be on the subject of testing.

Time will tell. Frankly, I don't put much faith into any of those associations/departments lately. They have ALL been wrong at times. My trusty condoms have NEVER let me down in over 30 years.

I am so grateful that my "wild" sex days were in the 1970's in the day of the NYC sex clubs, the piers, the trucks, the backroom bars, the baths, and our only association with the word AIDS was spelled AYDS, which was a chocolate that was a diet aid.

I have aides coming into my home every day doing shit for me.

Think that name for a candy bar would float in today's world?
