Thank you Jay for letting me know that his "Before The Scene", (Getting To Know Casey Owens) has been released because I never would have expected to see it up and running so early in the day, but I am glad I knew and I did just watch it.
I have a lot to say, (but I guess that is obvious from the ridiculous number of posts next to my name,
). LOLFirst of all, I like him a whole lot. I am surprised from reading this forum of how different people decide what constitutes good porn actors and good porn scenes. For me it is at least 90% the God given looks of the performer. As my sweet late friend Johnny used to call himself "shallow" in that regard, then I am just as or twice as shallow as he was. Looks get my attention, keep my attention and I am consumed by good looking young guys, and from what I've seen in his stills and in this interview, Casey is hotter than a pistol. He's quite an interesting young man who's overcome a lot in his young life. I really have to hold him in high regard for overcoming his addiction and taking a path that will lead him to greater things in the future. He has to have his head together to be managing a McDonald's. That shit is brutal. I've managed large apartment complexes with hundreds of units and the accompanying staff, and that's taxing enough. I commented on Casey's interview in the Friday the 13th thread, which you called the Eve of Casey's Interview. I basically agree with the comments of yourself and others on this thread. I also completely agree with you for applauding Sha asking Casey how old he was for his first time with a girl and first time with a guy. I think they are VERY pertinent questions on this site. As long as Broke Straight Boys uses the name Broke STRAIGHT Boys as their premise, I do feel that the paying customers are entitled to know just how straight gay or just plain "sexual" the models consider themselves to be. If this were another site that didn't promote the fact that they models were straight, it might be unfair to ask, but here I feel it is the key question to ask and then we the audience can decide for ourselves just how truthful they are being with their answers.

I thought Sha did a great job with this interview. Holding it outside was a great idea as well but the whole interview was focused on a close-up of Casey's face. Sure, he's great to look at but I would have liked a few full body shots. I like to look at a model's body language during the interview. I want to see how comfortable they are. They can say a lot but their body language speaks to us as well. I hope you include those again in the future. Good questions, though.

I have no doubt that Casey has was it takes to make it in porn. He certainly takes the business and his role in it seriously and I know I'll enjoy his scenes. He's overcome a lot problems early in his life and deserves to be rewarded for his determination. But responding to someone's post by ignoring the subject while doubling down on what they think is important is insulting. It's relatively simple. I just watched the interview -- and Sha has done wonders (as he alway does) in getting the model to open up. I think that I"m going to really like Casey!
