The lack of "Straight Boys" on Broke Straight Boys

With that being said, I am with team "straightboy" and trying to find the most believable straight boy out there. Times have certainly changed and so has the trends in porn. Based on the feedback I am getting, the majority of the members want to see hot sex between two hot guys. It doesn't matter if the guys are gay, or straight or bisexual. I have noticed in today's world, these guys that have sex with other guys don't consider themselves gay..like saying they are gay is an insult..they are now pansexual, CIS males, gender non-conforming....and the list goes on. But to call someone straight or gay...is becoming an insult.

I think we as older gay men that grew up in the 60's, 70's and 80's and even in the early 90's....this is a concept that is very new to us. This is why I always reference the Kinsey Scale because sexuality comes is so many different forms and different flavors. Although the Kinsey Report came out in the 50's is stay's true in today's world, just he labels and the verbiage has changed over the years.

If you come to think about it...its actually very fascinating subject.

I really appreciate your contributions to this thread David and I appreciate even more that you said, "I am with team "straightboy" and trying to find the most believable straight boy out there". I know that times have changed and it is mostly fighting a losing battle, but whether my feelings are in the majority or minority, they are still my feelings and I cannot tell myself to be more or less turned on by what is appearing on my screen because this is 2021 and not 2004. As Woody Allen infamously once said, "The heart wants what the heart wants." lol

From my prospective as long as this site is called "Broke Straight Boys", this subject will remain fascinating to be discussed on this forum.

Thank you for your input as always. I want to thank you for all you are doing for us right now. I know these are far from being ideal working conditions. The fact that you are able to crank out any new production at all, as well as doing it safely, is no small accomplishment. It's gotta be frustrating trying to hire and schedule with all the family and parental concerns models have to deal with, as well as established Broke Straight Boys models trying to get permission to get on the very limited shooting schedule.

You allude to the limited number of weekly updates as one more aspect that both helps and hinders your ability to get models on set. Yes. It's a Catch-22 right now. Fewer updates mean you don't need as many bodies on set as often. (Which is good when available models and their ability to travel is very limited.) You can test and control for Covid much more easily with fewer people running about. But on the flip side, fewer updates and limited shooting slots on the schedule also means you have to say no more often to some beloved established models of the site who really are desperate for the money and willing to work. But then to open the floodgates, ramp production back up again and aim for more updates per week...risks turning the studio and the models' quarters into a superspreader hotspot. It sucks.

I can only speak for myself here. But I do understand you guys are trying to do the best you can under pandemic circumstances. All parties concerned are trying to make the choices they deem as what's best for the safety of the models, the staff, as well as the standing of the company. But just about every business decision right now during the pandemic is a trade-off between unpleasant choices or the least risky. (As well as dealing with unintended, or at least unintentional, consequences.) The rules of logical standard business practices don't neatly apply during times like these.

Thank you Tampa for your input...You said it very well, not only our business but ALL business, even schools today...college classes, travel industry, the food industry, look at the cruise ships everything has changed....the things we took for granted is no longer the case in these challenging days..its challenging for all us and we have to adjust to this "new normal" for now until this virus gets less and less so we have a long ways to go and hopefully by the end of this year, things start going back to normal life.

Just saw that one of my favorites (James Dawn) did some shoots for another site that were just released. I know he had reservations about the covid testing with the huge swab and all that he had mentioned in the forum a bit ago. Can we look forward to any scenes with him again??

I had one guy the other week refuse to film because we do a full panel test which is blood, urine and the swab for covid...he didn't like needles nor blood and refused to work with our studio.

The funny thing is if you want to film porn these days, almost and to my knowledge all studios are testing so if you want to work and film, you have to get tested. I am hearing even the boys that get together to film onlyfans or justforfans are getting tested as well. It just makes perfect sense to get tested these days.

LOL, so true! I think this was near the beginning of the pandemic or towards the summer when he made that comment, I know they have made the tests easier. Every time the hospital has done a strep test on me I warn them I have a really bad gag reflex. Told the guy, he didn't listen, his shoes were ruined LOL

I have not had a Covid test done on me yet, but my parents were both in the hospital and they said it wasn't too bad when they tickled the brain through the nose. I'm glad you all have a strict testing regimen to keep everyone healthy.

Okay, so Elijah Scott has come up a couple of times. I’ve mentioned him, Mikeyank has mentioned him and so has Tampa. Elijah was only at the house once. He loves baseball and he’s totally straight..or so he says. This is an ideal straight boy for me. No he’s not the typical twinky boy, but damn he’s so hot. He’s got that thicker football player build with that thick ass....Lord have mercy. His first scene with Richie he tops and receives head only. The second scene is with Max Jay, and it’s my favorite. As I recall he came from a very conservative (possibly rural) family. Which leads me to be believe that if anybody outed him for his work here that there would have been plenty of consequences at home. So I don't know if after so much time through the pandemic if Elijah would still be interested in filming. I feel like we got lucky that he was desperate enough for money that he landed on our doorstep in the first place. A round two would be quite a fortunate turn of events for all of us who are fans.

I have some friends who I met on this forum who have left the site for the some reason that I find so few current models interesting to watch as we all came here to see cute guys who in our fantasies we could believe were real straight guys, expanding their limits with gay sex.

One of those friends emailed me this evening and as part of his email said the following:
